Unfortunately, when our technician arrived, we discovered that the glass required was not the standard rear glass originally ordered, but was instead for an aftermarket Truckman top, which isn't available through our normal glass suppliers.
Although we were disappointed that we couldn't complete the replacement for you, we're really pleased to hear that you found our technician helpful and pleasant.

Totally useless
Totally useless. They brought the wrong glass twice, leaving my car un-drivable. They said they would give me compensation because I had to hire a car and then offered a third of my costs but after the second failure to fit the correct glass they just didn’t bother and wouldn’t respond to any of my emails. AVOID and go to professionals. I’m still chasing the money they promised to refund me.

We are genuinely sorry that your experience on this occasion did not meet the standards we normally provide.
Unfortunately, the replacement rear glass supplied for your vehicle was found to be defective. After investigating the matter with our supplier, it became apparent that further available stock appeared to be from the same faulty batch, meaning we could not safely fit the replacement as originally planned.
Our technicians subsequently returned and were able to refit your original glass as a temporary solution so that the vehicle could be used.
We acknowledge that the situation caused you considerable inconvenience and that our communication could have been better.
We have now refunded the full amount you originally paid to Budget Windscreens and have also paid the additional £150 goodwill contribution towards your hire vehicle costs that we previously agreed.
The hire vehicle was arranged independently and its cost and duration were not agreed with us beforehand, so the £150 was offered as a goodwill contribution rather than an acceptance of liability for the full hire cost.
While the defective glass supplied to us was outside our direct control, we recognize the inconvenience caused and have done our best to resolve the situation fairly.
We are disappointed that we were unable to provide the level of service for which Budget Windscreens is normally known, but we hope the full refund together with the additional £150 payment demonstrates that we have taken the matter seriously and honored the resolution we agreed.

Great service
When my passenger window was smashed I reached out to Budget Windscreens for a replacement quote. Would highly recommend, they were able to offer a quote far better than other competitors. Booking was simple and the appointment was arranged for next day. On the day the technician Josch called to advise he was on the way. Once he arrived, he explained the process clearly and got to work. A short time later, he had finished and an excellent job he had done. He was able to clear 99% of the broken glass in the car which was nice and the window was fitted perfectly. Overall, he was polite and friendly - a credit to the company. The whole thing couldn't be better, would definitely use again!

Great sevice all round from the first call to book my appointment to the engineer doing the work today the staff are polite, very knowledgeable and really customer friendly. Very Quick service and window replaced ASAP. Wpuld recommended this company 100% in the future.
