Honestly? Candy club isn't that awful. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is due to the fact it's impossible to cancel on their website. That needs to be changed. Most of the candy I got was mediocre and stale. Not really a good first impression. Making changes to the website is a good first step to help your company or whatever. Just make it easier to choose the candies and cancel on your website.

Okay the website is very misleading and wow. I was trying to find the candy option to choose and pick from. When all of a sudden my order was already sent to them. I called them earlier in the morning that same day asked for them to cancel my membership, which they did on the spot. Then I called them back today as of 01/09/2019 and talked to a girl named anna, and asked about my refund. She said she would send me an email regarding my refund for my records. I haven't even receieved my email for the refund or nothing posted in my bank account. My candy has already shipped so nothing they can do to stop that. But where is my refund??

While the candy is mediocre at best, my problem is with the website. It is literally impossible to cancel. After I got this subscription for my little brother and he wasn't fond of any of the candies, I decided to end my subscription. But now I get an email from another box being sent, so my cancellation did not go through. I am looking all over the website for a way to end my subscription, but there is now way.
I do not want the second box, and I do not want to be charged for it. This is overpriced and not worth the time.

Wish I could give them no stars. I have tried multiple emails to cancel my account and tried to call with no success. The candy was totally awful. Way over priced too. I do not recommend this company. I believe they are purposely ripping customers off. I'm currently still trying to cancel my subscription. I guess I'm going to have to call my bank to do it.

I attempted to cancel multiple times before finally having success but by that time I was charged for a shipment I did not want. I was very confused that there was no way to cancel on the website.
The item did not even begin shipping until three days later, but their policy is to not refund you unless you cancel 2 days before BILLING instead of 2 days before shipping... ridiculous.
On top of the confusing website, when I finally got a pop-up for the live chat, I was slowly sent copy-pasted text from the website! Awful customer service.
Some candy was okay, some was hard and stale and tasted awful. The price is ridiculous and you get almost nothing.
I don't trust the business anymore. A normal business would have refunded the order since it hadn't shipped...

I have been a customer of Candy Club for about 2 years. Some customers stated that the customer service was poor but each and every time I contacted Candy Club, they were fast to respond and nice. Once my one container of candy came in damaged and they refunded me back for 3 containers to replace that one. Another time I received candy that wasn't what I first selected in the candy profile and contacted them, which they in returned refunded me a whole box. If I needed to skip a shipment, they worked with me.
Some say they don't like the selections of candy. There are some I do not like either and some that I received and gave away, but all you have to do is log onto your account, and if you don't like anything for that month, contact them to skip the next shipment or cancel.
Today, after being a customer for 2 years, I contacted them to cancel my subscription. My family and I have tried everything we wanted to try from the selections they have to offer. I contacted them through the live chat option and was able to cancel within minutes with no problems.

Have enjoyed a lot of the candy I have received from candy club my family has to I am a chocolate lover but also enjoys other candy. This club has listened to my complaints and solved them in good time. They resolved all complaints with honest and favorable treatment. Thank you.

I tried Candy Club out because it looked really interesting. I never received my shipment and asked them to cancel my subscription. It was not their fault because USPS had marked it delivered to our front office, but it wasn’t there. They responded within a day and said they’d cancel my subscription but that they would also send a new box free of charge! I didn’t ask them to do that but they went above and beyond. It was really awesome!! I did receive the second box and loved the candy inside!! I will definitely consider joining back up!!

Horrible customer service. I ordered a three month Candy Club membership for my daughter a month before Christmas. & days before Christmas and it has yet to arrive. They printed the Fedex slip but never created the box and shipped it. I called and they told me they could not advice as to when I would get my package. They had no idea what rush delivery was. Don't waste your time on this company. The lady hung up on me in the end. - do you see their response below. After everything, they want ME to call THEM?? They have my number. See how much they care.

I wasn't abig fan of this service and, I really wanted to like it. THe candy choices weren't great at all. The candy seemed like bulk candy from the supermarket, nothing special about that. The cost of both the candy and shipping was way too high. I purched a box that said it would have 6 6 ounce cups, I recived 6 3 ounce cups and, there is way too much packaging. It seems super wasteful, a giant box and six platic cups every month? I feel terribly throwing all of this away so, I've tried to use the cups is some way.
The only really good thing about this was the box the candy shipped in was big emough for my daughter's birthday present so, there's that.
I cancelled today, hope I don't have issues like other customers seems to have had.

I don’t know how to cancel my order or my subscription, as I won’t even receive it. It was extremely unclear that this brand does not ship to Australia and I have wasted $20aud on something I cannot even receive. This is utterly ridiculous and I expect a full refund to my PayPal

Packages always came on time. There are a lot of options, however, be aware that if you live somewhere it’s hot you’re very limited. My boyfriend and I were just disappointed to only be able to get gummies and hard candies (which neither of us really care for) practically every month until really recently. We have a cabinet full of gummies and thought it’d be time to cancel. I wish I could’ve been refunded for all the gummies we ended up with, but canceling wasn’t a problem and the agent was very friendly.

I have tried twice to cancel this club and I am still getting candy! I feel like I have to pick what I want because I will get it regardless. I like the idea of candy delivered but it was too expensive and not enough choices!

Im so disappointed! I use to get Candy Club for my family and then had to stop for personal reasons! Im now pregnant and craving chocolate! I use to pick all my candy before and now i only got to pick between SWEET or SOUR and the most dissapointing part is that I didnt get to find this out till I already paid and its like pulling teeth trying to contact someone!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK THIS ISNT WORTH IT ANYMORE!!!

I purchased a box a year or two back and it was a really good price and a overall very good experience unfortunately I can't say the same about the plans or experience they offer today.
So I was really excited to join this club thinking I could get candy that I actually want. That isn't how it works. You select the type of candy you like and they send you what they want. Now I am going to be charged nearly $60.00 for candy that will more than likely be thrown away. I am cancelling my account because this is way to much to charge for little cups that I can get at Wal-Mart or better yet in bulk at Sam's Club. Not happy with this at all. There was only one that I liked on my first box. I won't make this mistake again.
I'm not going to call edible food 🍬 "garbage" but there service is.Who would come up with the idea that you can't choose your own candy. I don't want to pay 30$ bucks 💸 for candy I don't like.Who cares how "Nice 🌈" Candy Clubs Customer service is, they need to get it together with you correcting them all the time.
You know I had some really high hopes for Candy Club but I got fairly disappointed in what I got. On top of only being able to choose sweet or sour products I got the exact opposite, the candy was average and over priced I could buy the same candy name brand at the store for cheaper. I will say this though, the presentation is beautiful and appealing.

I've been subscribed for 5 months now and HATE this service.
2 months ago I asked to cancel my subscription, Asked again a month ago, and I asked AGAIN today. When I call I get a voicemail and when I email I get nothing. But you people are happy to keep charging me $48 a month!
Completely a waste of time, and poor excuse of a company.
