We went shopping inside the store and inside the fitting room my daughter lost a hot topic bag
. When we went looking for the bag the manager didn’t want to open the doors and when we asked for security cámaras the manager told us that they were fake. This man had an actitud and it was like he didn’t even care about it. No one have seen the bag very bad customer service

They show tops as tops you could wear out that show a little bit of abs. When you get them, they are like doll clothes. My husband is good with sexy tops, but saw the first one and was basically like "you can't wear that out of the house)". Not sure what size the models are but beware!!!

The Stamford CT store. Poor customer service. Very rigid on returns even on damaged products. In my case it was a belt, an even exchange would have been fine i was not looking for a refund. However, this is a number one reason i dont support local small stores. You cant be so rigid if you want to keep customers' support.

This is a company that is completely and totally uninterested in customer service. I recently bought a couple of pairs of pajamas, which I could not try on because, ridiculously, their fitting rooms were closed (as if you could catch covid by breathing the air in the fitting rooms behind a closed door, rather than in the store). After discovering that they didn't fit, I tried to return them, however THEN I was told that I would only receive store credit. After contacting their customer service, my case was handled by an extremely rude woman whose attitude and tone of voice reflected that having to deal with a complaint was a huge inconvenience to her. Instead of taking my word on what happened, she told me she was going to call and double check my story with the manager of the store. I was later contacted by the supervisor, who basically indicated in a lot of flowery words how "sorry" he was that he couldn't refund my money. I have never, ever had such a negative experience at a retail store. I would highly recommend NOT shopping at Charlotte Russe, as it is clear they are running a huge scam to get your money regardless of whether or not you are satisfied with the purchase, resorting to lying and withholding information in order to do so. There's a reason they have a rating of "F" with the Better Business Bureau.

I bought 3 sweaters at Charlotte Russe at Scottsdale Fashion Square without trying them on as the fitting rooms were closed. I commented when I purchased them that hopefully I would not have to return them. I tried them on in another store and didn't like how they looked so went back to return them. Then I was told that they wouldn't refund my money - they would do exchange only. I said they should have told me that when I bought them. They said they couldn't tell every customer that and there was a sign. The sign said EXCHANGE POLICY in big letters and a bunch of small print which I never read. There should be a sign with the word NO RETURNS on it. I told another lady in the store that the fitting rooms were closed and she couldn't return anything she bought. The manager then started yelling at me and told me to leave the store.

They deserve a 0 star!! Their 14 days exchange policy is ridiculous knowing you cant even trying the item at the store! I am a busy person and forgot that I have to exchange the bottom of the pajama set bought because the top is white and the bottom is beige. I went to their store past 14 days and a RUDE MANAGER told me with an attitude “I can’t accept your request because it's pass 14 days already.” he can say it in a nice way but I guess he's having a bad day. I Won’t shop at Charlotte Russe again. Very Bad policy and Customer Service!!!!

Awful experience, they have the worst echange and return policy because they don't give any refunds and you are not allowed to exchange some clothing like bathing suits even though its not worn, washed, or damaged (They don't give you your money back). You are not allowed to try on any clothing. The workers there had clearly no patience and a very bad attitude, NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN!

Their online customer service is absolutely awful. I ordered a medium pj set and was sent a small instead. After much back and forth I was told there was more in stock and I’d be sent a label to return the item. I was never sent the label so after a day I emailed the same person back and finally received one. I was told I had to wait until the item reached their facility to be sent the correct item to then be told they were out of stock. Do not order online, they might send you the wrong item at which point you’ll have to jump through hoops to never even receive it.

As others have mentioned, the worst return policy. DURING pandemic where you can’t try on clothes, they have only 14 days for a freaking exchange or gift card! Luckily I only spent $25, but I was so pissed and just couldn’t believe that any retail business would have that return policy during COVID-19. Absolutely unacceptable! In that case they should clearly state when making a purchase in the store that they do not give refunds. Went there the other day again to spend that gift card and the dang thing doesn’t fit again! Now I have to drive 30mins within 14 days, just terrible experience. Never shopping there again!

All the CR stores in my area have been shut down. I purchased items online, but they did not fit so I traveled to a location out of my area in hopes of returning. To my surprise they do not return sale items for cash. My only option was to exchange or store credit. I looked around at the items in store. I was very disappointed with the selection of clothes. CR has always been one of my favorite stores and the location that I used to visit often always had the latest trends and I was sure to find a cute outfit. This store reminded me of a cheap 5 and below. I couldn't believe it was a CH. Obviously, the stores have been hit hard due to the pandemic, but I don't think it's a reason for the stores open to have such a poor selection. You would think they would have them looking full and filled with trendy items. With that being said I was not able find an item I liked, so I opted for gift card, and was assured I would be able to use it online. Fortunately, the selection is still very good on line. I thought I was set, but when I tried to enter my gift card it would not take for some reason. I did some research and was not able to find a way to enter it. I tried to call customer service but it wasn't a working number. I then emailed customer service. The response I got was not what I expected. "At this time we are not able to redeem Gift Cards online. We apologize for any inconvenience". REALLY! If i knew that i would have kept the item and sold it my self. I was very disappointed. How rude

Apparently Charlotte Russe has new ownership and it has gone so downhill it is almost trash. With Covid restrictions, all places are not letting you try anything on in the store so, like everyone else, I have been buying my items and taking them home to try them and if they don’t fit I return them..... well I bought two shirts at Charlotte Russe, they did not fit at all so I returned them. Then I am told “you will only get store credit”. Um excuse me?????? I don’t want store credit and how can you even only offer store credit as an option if we CANT EVEN TRY ON THE CLOTHES IN THE STORE. We are in a pandemic dammit and I want my money back. I don’t even want to spend a single cent more in this store again. How can you even justify doing this as a company. And to my it worse the cashier told me upon returning “yeah it says it at the bottom of your receipt”. IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN I COULDNT RETURN, I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED.

I went to the Charlotte Russe store at the Monmouth Mall in N.J and had the worst customer service experience I have ever had. My niece was visiting me from Venezuela. She doesn't speak English and was told by the "store manager" not to try a sweet shirt on, which she was attempting to put on top of her clothes. The "store manager" was very rude to her and I and said "she is taking it off". I explained to the "store manager" that my niece did not understand English, which she then replied that she did not care. I expressed my disapproval for the way she was addressing the situation. She then accused me of yelling at her while I was talking with my mask on. She then proceeded to tell us to leave her store and called, or pretended to, security.
She refused to give me her name when I asked for it as I was leaving the store. She is a young African American lady. She is about 5' 7'' tall and wears her hair in dreadlocks. I am extremely disappointed that my niece's first day in the U.S was met by such an unprofessional and negative employ.

Bought a bunch of clothes-spent a good $70 in the store and obviously couldn’t try on due to covid. So I go home and nothing fits(their xl is equivalent to a normal xs) to then find out that I cannot get my money back- only a merch credit or an exchange!!?? Why that wasn’t mentioned to me at the time of sale is beyond reason so now I’m hoping to go back and find something that fits but if I can’t looks like I’m out $70. Thanks for your bad business #robbery

Do not go to Charlotte Russe, if an employee overcharge you, you don't get your money back!!!! They have no management and I had to end up getting something else im exchange of their mistake. I wanted my money back not merchandise. What a ridiculous policy and the employees seem clueless

Bought a 15 dollar looney tunes sweater that was originally $40. Received it today and the quality of the print was not the best. Then I looked at the TM print at the bottom corner and it looks super bootleg. It has a TM print with another TM print over the 1st one. Wish I could post a picture. Good thing I didn’t pay the full price but still wth! 40 bucks for this type of quality, not cool. Definitely can’t give this as a Christmas gift.

No items received after 6 months. I keep being sent the same email being vague about time period.

Do not waste your time with this company. Ever since “return policies” changed due to covid they’re not making it any easier for customers. The return policies for in store and online make no sense. In store you can NOT get a refund at all. If you buy online, you can not return for a refund either even though IT DOES STATE IT CLEARLY ON THE WEBSITE. All around they should of just closed when they closed last year. Employees are clueless as well and they have them working ALONE when they do not know how to operate alone with out management.

I got the CUTEST winter jacket there 5?years ago. Like a wool coat with a fur hood and some extra zippers to make it stylish. I’ve gotten soooooo many compliments on it. I have worn it for 5 winters. It’s time for a new jacket and I so wish they still had it in stock because I’d totally get the exact same jacket again. Literally in 5 years the zippers stayed intact, the lining never ripped,etc. if about the clothes because I haven’t gotten clothes there in 5 years but the jacket was incredibly well made!

Horrible store cheap clothes that won’t last in there sizes run strange they don’t refund your money nope can’t return It won’t shop here anymore was my first in will be my last I rather shop in America eagle it last forever.
