Hired a 1.5 digger for the weekend. Delivered Friday and picked up on Monday.

The guy dropping off was friendly and knowledgeable. Explained the hire agreement and surcharges (such as if diesel is not replaced). I found these to be completely reasonable so carried on with the hire.

The price was far better than other tool hire companies, I have to be honest. On Monday, they collected the digger and did a visual inspection.

Happy customer, and looking to return this weekend!

I’ve used Chase Plant Hire several times now.F rom my first experience I’ve never needed to look elsewhere, the pricing is very competitive, always plant in stock(even at short notice) and the hire process takes a couple of minutes (no checks and deposits. The machinery is well services never had a let down. Last think the drop off lads need a mention no hassle nothing too much trouble.
Great bunch. And will always use in the future.

I ordered a turf cutter and it was ready when I got to the store. I was helped to get it on my vehicle. I returned it the next day with no hassle and very friendly staff.

Effortless transaction and flexible extension of my hire period - happy to recommend

I hired a micro digger from this company for one day at an agreed price of £210 plus diesel. The machine was delivered at around 10:20 am and was due to be collected at the same time the following day.

I was aware that the hire agreement stated there would be a charge if the Quick Hitch safety pin was lost. Because of this, I took particular care to ensure it remained fitted and secure throughout the hire.

Before returning the machine, I changed the bucket myself and personally inserted and secured the Quick Hitch safety pin. I am therefore 100% certain that the pin was fitted when I parked the machine ready for collection. I then washed the digger and left it clean and in good condition.

The company failed to collect the machine at the agreed time. After waiting until approximately 3:30 pm, I contacted them and was instructed to leave the key hidden so their driver could collect it later in my absence.

After collection, I was informed that the Quick Hitch pin was missing and was charged an additional £20 + VAT. I disputed the charge and asked for photographs taken at collection, the collection inspection report, or any other evidence showing that the pin was missing when the machine was collected. No such evidence was provided. Instead, I was simply told that I was liable for the charge and that the matter was closed. The additional amount was then charged to my credit card.

I have no issue paying the agreed hire charge or diesel costs. However, I am disappointed that an additional charge was applied without any evidence being provided, particularly when the machine was collected several hours later than agreed and in my absence following the company's instructions. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

As a property developer I hire alot of machinery. This is the firrst time I've used chase plant hire, they was the best price I could find for hiring a scissor lift. I had to delay them by a day and it was no issue where as some company's would of moaned, Great communication throughout. Will definitely be using again. Thanks guys 👊👊
