They were great at taking me through the process over the phone step by step and then I was able to follow the process smoothly online. The dashboard was really straight forward and showed me where I was up to with each DBS check.

Easy to use website and personal touch for advice and queries and the cost was reasonable. DBS was processed quickly, available on line and arrived in the post within a reasonable timescale.

Wait to long, there is no system as to how they work. Requested a DBS at the beginning of August, Still waiting. Sent another request for a DBS and received it within 24 hours??? How does that work. I have lost 3 potential workers due to the long wait. When I write to them regardless of what you are asking, you get the same scripted response. Do not think this company is suitable for small companies who only do small amounts of DBS's

I work as a compliance manager for a company in Cardiff and have been using another platform to process DBS checks, however I found them to be slow at processing the DBS's. Checks Direct contacted us at the right time and provided a full demonstration and all information in a well-presented format. The demonstration took up to 1 hour, the team provided me with a visual for afterwards and even access to a dashboard to test out before deciding whether we wanted to proceed.

The communication with Scott Belmont was fantastic and he is always on hand over the phone or on emails when needed, with a quick response time. He set up the initial meeting and was very approachable. I asked many questions which were answered thoroughly. Since coming onboard with this company, I have processed a couple of DBS and they were true to their word - countersigning within 30 minutes and sending the DBS to processing every day. The checks I have done have been completed within a couple of days, which is the fastest service I have experienced compared to two other companies I have used previously.

Will email you out of the blue then hassle you on the phone asking for your address, DOB and other info. Disgusting call centre staff and "boiler room" style pressing for info. ref E090064****
I have never been in touch with this company or the company they said they were carrying out "checks" for. They had my name and email but pressed me for my DOB, home address and other sensitive info. Call was at 11.57am today. Police will be notified, if they email you/call you just hang up and call the police.
