Found the car I was looking for online and upon requesting information, I was greeted by Mark with all the information I needed. Communication was good and concise - Mark provided me with everything I needed to know in order to make an informed choice. When I gave the figures I could work with, I was not met with a hard sell - in fact, quite the opposite. I felt it was Mark that made the moves to get the deal over the line with my figures and needs in mind.

On the day of sale, Mark was welcoming and fantastic. Would really recommend and will strongly consider making the long journey again when it comes to looking for a car for my eldest in the next few months.

I bought my first ever car from Mark. He was very helpful from start to finish. He let me take the car on two test drives which was great for me to get to know the car and make sure it felt comfortable on Welsh hills and speed bumps. Before selling the car, he takes it for a fresh MOT and servicing. Unfortunately the car failed its MOT but Mark had it brought up to standard and it passed its new MOT without remarks. Despite having to spend his own money, he didn't even entertain the idea of altering the price to cover his extra expense which I think shows him to be honourable and trustworthy. His great customer service even extended to after sales. Me being a new car owner and never having a car before, I didn't realise how fast a 12v battery can be run down without the engine on. I called Mark to ask his advice and he sent the technician to my house within the hour and had them set up the battery recharger for me. There is no doubt they really care about their customers and genuinely willing to go that extra bit further to make the experience safe and friendly. He was also helpful in setting up the car tax and admin bits ready for me to drive. I also took out the extended warranty on his recommendation. Great place to buy your car. Thank you!

Buying a car can be a daunting experience particularly when in late 70s and female!
On my first visit to Chepstow Trade Centre I had a rough idea of what I needed mainly based on my husband's reducing mobility.
Looking round the forecourt I could not see the right car, but I left it with Mark who undertook to look out for what I wanted. no pressure. No hard sell. just friendly reassurance.
Not only do I now have the ideal vehicle, but all the little change-over issues ; MOT, Road Tax were so kindly sorted out in a genuinely helpful and generous manner. Nothing was too much trouble.
No question; I wholeheartedly recommend this 5 Star business.

I would highly recommend Chepstow Trade Centre. Mark couldn't have been more helpful. I phoned up to ask if I could test drive a 2016 Polo and he had it ready for me within the hour, even though he was obviously quite busy that day.
Turned up had a little chat with Mark, who then gave me the keys and off I went with my son for a test drive.
It ran lovely and was spotless, especially for a ten year old car.
Got back, pointed out a minor problem, which he promised would sort out and I put down a deposit straight away. There was no pressure, no trying to sell finance or any other extras. Just simple, friendly and hassle free.
Picked up car a few days later. Minor problem fixed, car had brand new mot, service and was valeted.
The car is for my son and he's chuffed to bits with it.
Next time I'm looking for a used car, these guys will be first place I contact.

We visited last week after seeing a few cars online, and from the moment we arrived Mark was super friendly, helpful and welcoming. He even let us view a car that had literally just arrived and was still being cleaned. It was exactly what we were hoping for so we put down a deposit straight away and were told we could come back as soon as it had been MOT’d and ready for a test drive. When we returned just a few days later Rob had done an amazing job cleaning it up!The car looked beautiful, and you could tell real care had gone into getting it ready. The whole experience was brilliant. Very helpful, professional, friendly, and Mark is a genuinely nice guy — not pushy at all and really approachable. We would absolutely recommend🙂

I would wholeheartedly recommend Mark and his team. From the first point of contact on the phone , Mark was so friendly and helpful, he really took the time to listen to what I was looking for. It just so happened there was a car there.
It has a new MOT & Service & valeted. The wing mirror casing was damaged but not only did Mark order a new one immediately, he told me he would get it delivered to a different dealership who would fit it for me. Not his ,obviously a friend's nearer to Chepstow to save me the journey of returning to Caerlean.
No pushy sales, no trying to sell finance to up my budget, it was lovely. A refreshing positive experience with such great customer service. In this heat as well lots of water provided 🙂 If you want a car , go and see Mark and his team !!!!

My daughter was looking for her first car so we myself daughter and son went looking we went to a few places he rhen phoned around and spoke to Chepstow they said we got another site in ponthir we went looked at a few and the staff mark was fabulous no pushing just talking and she came across one that she liked the price was fab and he went through everything as my daughter hasn't passed just yet my son and her took the car for a drive then came back and she loved it so not long after making sure she was definitely happy with the car I bought if and pick up few days later if anyone is looking I would definitely recommend this place can not fault them thank you again Mark also car came with warranty

When life gives you lemons ...
I was involved in a collision. Other driver's fault. The hoops and flaming bridges I had to cross to get to a place where I could buy a new car took a month! However, I used that month to properly research cars. (AI was an absolute game changer in this.) The car I wanted, at the price range I was looking at was sitting at Chepstow Trade Centre in Newport. I booked a test drive online, it was around 9pm. Mark was on the phone within 5 minutes introduced himself and firmed up on the date and time.
I'm not much of a one for leaving reviews but the whole process from start to end was actually a delight. Mark's professionalism, courtesy and knowledge are second to none. Buying a car is pretty stressful for anyone, but Mark made sure we were relaxed and comfortable with everything. No pushy sales talk, no urgency or pressure. If you're looking for a great deal and appreciate old-fashioned service. Look here first. You won't be sorry.

Just purchased a Tiguan for my partner.

Having had the most awful service from two garages in the last 2 months we began to lose hope, being left with both cars having to be returned.

Wen arranged a viewing at another garage near buy and we arrived to be told the car had just sold, I rushed home from work to get their but this summed up our recent luck.

I thought we are going to drive and stay local and visit garages I knew had a good rep.

We arrived to be greeted by two lovely men, the partner seen the Tiguan and knew that was what she wanted. Although they were closing they allowed us to test drive whilst staying open for us.

The car drove perfectly, started first turn of the key. After driving that was it, minds made up.

Tried to pay there and then to drive home but Mark was adamant that the car couldn’t leave. He wanted it pristine before leaving so a deposit was paid and we returned the following morning to collect.

Car was freshly cleaned, inside and out, very professional handover and even half a tank of fuel and a 6 month Warranty. That is service you can not beat.

Our daughter will want her first vehicle soon and I know exactly where we will be heading.

Friendly staff, and quick response, not pushy at all. deposit put down on the Wednesday collected cat Friday.
Engine management light came on as soon as I turned it on; however was in touch with their mechanic by lunch the next day and had a visit on the Sunday.
Car now awaiting 1 more sensor change(due to waiting on manufacturer for shipment) but very speedy and very pleased.

I bought a car with Chepstow trade centre and couldn’t be happier. Yes I bought it in January so it’s been a few months but the reason being to make sure all was good with the car. I cannot fault the vehicle and certainly cannot fault the staff, they went above and beyond for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
I would certainly recommend this garage and I will definitely return to buy another vehicle from them as they were honest guys and that’s what I want when buying a vehicle. I had a problem with the brakes, took it back a week later, straight away new brake pads and disc’s replaced and vehicle delivered back to my door. Can’t fault the service. Also had a 2 year warranty with it.
Keep up with your honesty guys, it goes a long way with customers…
