Cherrybanana failed to deliver.
Cherrybanana used Australia post for delivery and Australia Post took it to the LPO because I wasn't home, yet didn't leave a card in my mailbox. The item would have fitted in my letterbox. So I have been blissfully unaware of it languishing in the LPO. To my surprise today I received a message from Cherrybanana saying it had been delivered. I checked the tracking only to find it's been returned to sender. Thanks a lot, you useless bunch. You took my money and failed to effectively deliver.

Thanks a banana bunch for your order. We're sorry to hear you're disappointed.
After reviewing your order, it appears Australia Post attempted delivery but was unable to deliver the parcel. It was then taken to your local Post Office for collection, where it remained for the collection period before being returned to us. This is normal process for an uncollected parcel.
As soon as every order is on its way, we send tracking details by email so customers can follow their parcel from dispatch through to delivery. You can also view your order and tracking from your Order Details page. Australia Post also offers optional email and SMS tracking updates through its MyPost service.
For privacy and security, some orders are sent with Signature Required, depending on the shipping service selected. Unless alternative delivery instructions are provided, Australia Post will usually take the parcel to the local Post Office if nobody is available to accept it, rather than leaving it unattended. If you'd prefer your parcel to be left in a safe place where available, or have specific delivery instructions, you're always welcome to leave a note at checkout.
Now that the parcel has just returned back to us, we'll be in touch to discuss the available Return to Sender options in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
