I agree with the other negative reviews. I wish I had read them before buying! I ordered 5 items all the same size. Most of the items were too big, and one was too small. I returned the too small one to find out that I am out of money just for returning the item. Why take the gamble on online shopping when I’m pretty much guaranteed to lose money? No thanks! Also, I emailed customer service about this issue and they responded with a passive aggressive answer. I’m really bummed because their clothing is cute, but I will NOT shop here again.

Plus size girlies- be careful! Sizing is completely off. I ordered a 3X (I wear 2X) to ensure it’s large enough, and my friend who’s an XL, can’t fit my 3X shirt. Only offers store credit! What’s the point of store credit if the sizing is THAT off? Currently disputing with my bank! Buyer BEWARE!!!

I had ordered a lot from Chic Soul in the past and forgotten why I quit shopping here...
The sizing is all over the place which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for their horrible return policy.
First of all, you can't exchange for a different size. It costs $10.99 to return the item and they will only issue you store credit. So if you want the exact same item in a different size, it's going to cost you $10.99. Next, why can't I just get a refund? Store credit is ridiculous, especially when the sizing is so off. I am blocking this store from my Facebook feed. This last order was enough for me.

The sizing is inconsistent and they don't offer refunds to the original payment method. They will ONLY offer a store credit. I will never buy from this store again.

Not the best quality items. Some items I never received after 2 months. I sent a message, they did refund, but never sent an explanation sorry anything for never receiving my items. Honestly, they may not have said anything about the items I hadn’t received if I didn’t email them. I’ve ordered before when they first started and it was great. Now I’m very hesitant to order again. The quality and service isn’t there anymore.

So surprised at all of the negative reviews! I've ordered 80% of my work clothes from Chic Soul over the past few years, so I've had a ton of experience with them & would absolutely recommend. Their customer service is incredibly quick & friendly! I've always been impressed by the quality. I definitely feel like prices are fair. Sure, I've had some items that didn't work for me, but just because it didn't work on me doesn't make all of their clothes universally "unflattering" as another review mentions. Returns are store credit only, but that's really not unusual for online shopping. It's also incredibly easy to find their return policy on their site before ordering, so any criticisms of that policy seem to be based out of customers' not doing their research.

Clothing is cheaply made and often thin to the point of see thru. Sizing between items is inconsistent and in general measurements don't seem on par with other plus size clothing manufacturers. The last nail in this, never ordering from them again, coffin is their return policy. What company in this day in age only offers store credit for returns? Sketchy and ridiculous!

The majority of their clothes seem to be from three brands: haptics, umgee and zenana. These are simply wholesaler brands. You can buy many of these brands direct on Amazon. For the price of the clothes they are selling, you are just getting cheap Chinese Amazon clothing. It's just too overpriced for what you're getting. They do have some cute things, but the fabric is thin, see through, poor fitting etc.. it's just not a $50- $60 shirt. It's just marked up because they are a reseller.. There are also many other boutiques who sell these exact same brands at various price ranges, kinda like Judy Blue jeans. It's no different than shopping at Shein.

I order just about $200 worth of clothing on 9/1. They claim to have "Extremely Fast Shipping"... Im still waiting. It was supposed to be delivered Thursday 9/7, then Friday 9/8. I left for a trip today and was expecting to bring some items with. Now it says my order was delivered today, there is someone at my house and nothing was delivered by USPS.
They also don't seem to put negative reviews on their site, becasue what I've read compared to what's on their site is quite a difference. If I had known, I would have ordered from another site..

As a Canadian, I highly recommend other Canadians NOT purchase from here. Their return policy combined with having to pay duties/customs basically means that you cannot return anything. You can only return for a credit, but you lose money on the customs of the original purchase and then again on whatever you buy with your store credit.
To add insult, when you try to sell items on 3rd party websites to try and recoup some of your money, they come after you for copyright infringement on their images.

Normally I never do reviews, but I can across this and I was shocked at the reviews. I have ordered from Chic Soul 27 times (yes I counted before I wrote this). Yes, there have been times that I got the clothes and was not crazy about it once I tried it on and I did return it. However, there has never been one time that I questioned the quality of the clothing. Everything that I have bought or even returned has been great quality. I started purchasing from them in 2020, and I still have all of the clothes hanging in my closet and I wear them all the time. I get compliments on everything I have bought. The things I have returned were because I didn’t like how they looked on me, and one time I orders a dress that I felt was too see through and wasn’t lined. I learned my lesson from that, and now if I see something that I like but it does not clearly state that it is lined, I just message them on their website and they usually get back to me in less than 5 min ( if it’s during the day). They also clearly have the dimensions of everything in their website . I was not thrilled with the return policy only being in store credit, BUT I love the selection of clothes so much that it isn’t that big of a deal to find something else. Also, returning the clothes is super easy, there is an option to either mail it back or take it in to select retailers (kind of like what Amazon does with Kohls) and return it. I always just take mine to Ulta and return them. They take the clothes and you are emailed a credit minus like $7 for shipping. Far easier that packing it up and shipping it yourself and it costs the same or less. I have also NEVER had an issue using the credit, in fact one time I lost the email with the credit code, and messaged Chic Soul and they sent me a new email with the info. I think their customer service is amazing. Recently a dress I ordered was out of stock, I messaged them and asked to substitute a different color of the dress, and they responded back that they had mailed out the new color I requested. I never have seen customer service that personal and that quick at responding.

I find Chic Soul to be very predatory. They mark up prices on cheap clothing that plus sized women will buy because they struggle elsewhere. The clothes are not good quality and the sizing is all over the place. The return policy stinks. You can never get your money back from Chic Soul once you spend it with them. You can only exchange for more low quality, ill fitting clothing.

Terrible return policy- only allows store credit and is hard to even redeem that credit.

I have bought many items from chic soul. And have loved them, but beware if it is on sale the WILL NOT REFUND MONIES ARE STORE CREDIT. I ORDERED 3 SHIRTS AND 2 FIT PERFECT AND ONE WAS WAY TO BIG. ALSO I ORDERED A 3X LEGGING JEANS WAS LIKE A LARGE. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!

I got a pair of KanCan jeans I LOVE and ripped. They were the last place I could find with them in my size. I was weary from the reviews, but it was quick and as expected!

Just received my order less than an hour ago. Immediately tried everything on it they were all HUGE! and terrible quality! Shirts are huge and shoes too small. Went to process a return through their site and they only offer store credit! I had to send an email to beg for my money back. I'm waiting for "management approval" I WILL NEVER SHOP THEIR SITE EVER AGAIN. PLEASE BUYER BEWARE! THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY!

They won’t return your money after sending the orders back. Instead issuing gift cards that you will never use. They are making money on this policy in a non credible way. Don’t use them!

Prices are very high for the quality of clothing. Return policy is awful. You cannot receive a refund back to your original form of payment, only to a gift card and $11 is deducted from you refund amount for shipping costs. I can’t believe people still shop with them.

The clothes are expensive for what you get. Very thin material. The sizing is just BAD! They’re 2 sizes too small. Don’t even try to return them to get your money back as they give you a gift card so you can buy more clothes that are cheap looking and so ill fitting and sizes that are tooooo small. Don’t try and argue with them because they have an answer for everything to keep your money. Scam.

Honestly, I was hoping to like the products but was disappointed with what I received. There are some products made by Chic Soul and others are made by two different brands, Haptics and Umgee. If you purchase products from here, you may not receive quality material from some of the items. Also, be aware that you will get a e-gift card for items and not a refund. So unfortunate, when the sizing is extra big and not flattering. Plus they review your review before allowing to be submitted online.
