Please read the return policy before making a purchase. I wish I had. They force you to get gift codes for future purchases. They will not refund your money.

Bought a poor quality vest for almost 60$ in the same size as 3 others I also bought, and this one was way too small. I messaged asking how to return and the person wasn't helpful. I would need to verify it wasn't on sale myself. No quick way to find out. If it's on sale at all its not eligible to exchange or return. I just lost 60$. They lost a customer.

More than likely you will be making a return to this company after receiving your order. Be warned that you will be paying the return shipping with no reimbursement. Your refund will be in the former of a store credit because they know you will find something else you'll love. The quality of their products and questionable return policies are the complaints the BBB have posted about them. Nobody wants a store credit! They want their hard earned money back to spend elsewhere on products of much better quality and fit. Very disappointing!

This company edits their reviews and only posts glowingly positive ones. I posted a review about clothing not working for me and they responded by email with a saccharine sweet response that didn’t even address my concern and didn’t post the review. Which means we can’t trust the ones that are there. They also refuse to refund money and will only give store credit. On top of that, they make the customer pay for return shipping. They also don’t do replacements so if you are able to order the same piece in a different size, you have to pay shipping AGAIN for same item of clothing. They streamline all sizes into only three, 1x-3x which means if you are at the bottom or top of the size range, the clothes are not likely to fit well. I ordered four 1x tops based on their size chart and none of them fit—all too big. According to their chart, 1x is sizes 12-14. I am usually a 16 and they were all too big.

I am very disappointed about having to pay 21.00 to return what didn’t fit. I wanted a refund and can only get credit. I will never buy from here again. It’s a shame because I liked the clothes.

I just started buying your products but my not sure of your sizing so when my top came it was too big. I returned it 3 days later but have not received a refund. I will not buy from you again. You have my product and my money. That is not right!

Sadly I did not look over the return policy before I made a purchase. I could understand having to pay for shipping but not receiving only a gift card and not a reimbursement on the credit card that was used. So now I have an item that is oversized that I am not going to wear sitting in my closet because I don’t trust their size chart. I’m not going to keep buying things from them to just get another gift card if the other item does not fit. Poor customer service.

I am shocked at the negative reviews. My only complaint is that you have to pay to ship a return and then only get a credit. I have made many, many purchases and while I have returned quite a few things, I have kept many and absolutely love those items! They are stylish and very comfortable! You just have to really look at the enlarges images that are now available (didn't used to be). Shipping is VERY fast however getting the credit for returns takes 2-3 weeks (even though I paid for priority shipping). Their customer service is very responsive too.

I’m so disappointed in Chic Soul. I used to love buying from them, I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on their site. Everything I’ve ordered in the last 6 months has been very low/disappointing quality. I received a package yesterday and the quality of all three items is laughable. Both of the tops I got are so thin that they need a cami under to be wearable (which is not at all what was pictured) and one of them came snagged. I also ordered a “cardigan” which I assumed would be knit, I obviously assumed incorrectly though. The material is like that of a child’s Halloween costume, thin and rough. Also to return anything you have to pay the postage out of pocket which I did many times but looking back it’s pretty ridiculous. 50 bucks for a glorified long sleeve tee shirt and if the fit is off I have to pay 8+ dollars just to return it? I will say that the customer service there is good. I had an issue and the refunded me to a gift card but everything I bought with that card ended up being unwearable. Save the time and money and shop somewhere with better policies. I’m so sad that the quality has changed, I used to really love the clothes 😣

The WORST part about Chic Soul is that they filter reviews!!! I reviewed the clothing that I ordered and the reviews were NEVER POSTED 😡
The second worst part is the misleading sizing. They bait plus size customers with “sizes 1x-3x”. It if you look at the size chart (which most people would not they would assume sizing to be true to other brands) you see that sizes really only go up to about 18/20. I usually wear a 2x. I ordered 3x’s here and they didn’t even come close to fitting, I don’t even think they were plus size!
As others have said, the quality is awful. Fabric is thin and fraying without even being washed and these pieces are expensive!!
You can’t return things unless you want a store credit.
I hope you read this before you waste your time and money like I did.

Shipping was excellent but the quality of the clothing is poor especially for the price. The clothes looked really cute online and I debated on purchasing because of the price. Most of the items did not fit. Some where way to small and some to big. I am definitely regretting purchasing especially since they do not offer refunds only gift cards. I will be sending all my items back because of them not fitting and hopefully find something that will.

This is a nightmare experience for me. I never received my order, I waited over 3 weeks and nothing. I called my bank to report the charge. We never shop here again.

Omgomg! I’ve ordered and am still waiting, I’m in Saskatchewan, CANADA. What was everyone’s experience with delivery times?

I just made my first purchase, cute clothes, but very pricey but I ordered anyway as I am heading back to work. I based the size I ordered on what size the model is and what size she is wearing. Everything I just received is too big. Now I have to send it all back and wait for a gift card to reorder. Looking at the website, many of the items I wanted in the smaller size are not available. So they send me a gift card, until I can find something I like and hope they have it in the right size, but only for a year and then they keep it all.
They need to have at least an exchange policy. I am so frustrated, I will reluctantly use my gift card and then I will NEVER order from Chic Soul again.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever encountered shopping online.The clothes is really cute and the fact that they cater to plus size is great because it’s hard to find cute clothes. I just don’t feel the price of the garments is justified. The quality of the clothes is hit or miss. I have a sweater that was fifty five dollars and it’s held up good. I also purchased a cute sleeveless top and one wash the threading came undone and it’s not wearable.all i was trying to do is get my money back i went on the facebook and i found this company HELPLINE number which is nine one nine nine three nine two five fopur four on the same day i have contacted the cutsomer service team and they help me out return and refund my issue was resolved

ALL CLOTHES MADE IN CHINA!!!

I bought a shirt and the system didn’t update, so it went to the wrong address. I had to speak to 2 people the first time before I got a manager, the manager assured me it payment would go back to my card. 2 days later it wasn’t processed, so I called and I got someone who did not speak English and refused to let me speak to a manager.

Won't order again. Color of dress did not look like what photo on website looks like. Sizing very inconsistent. Can only return items for a gift card and you have to pay for return shipping. If items were cheaper, I wouldn't care but they are a bit pricey.

I've been a customer since 2017 and I've had zero problems with this company that is based in Auburn, Alabama. The clothes are amazing and great quality. They don't shrink in wash and I always get compliments. The shipping is always fast and efficient. I honestly don't understand the bad reviews. The clothes are priced the way they are because it's a boutique, not Walmart. The sizes are a little off especially in the jeans but honestly all the places I've shopped at are like that. The return and exchange is a little difficult but I understand why. Some customers seriously abuse the return policies at department stores so I can imagine it's the same for online boutiques.

I am actually shocked at all the negative reviews. Since Sept, I have probably bought over 1,000 worth of clothes and I love them. No problems. As far as looking cheap, I find now another big plus size brand, which I shopped all the time, look and feel cheap in comparison. The only thing is sizing can be inconsistent but I find that in most stores.

Great customer service & great fitting clothes. Love everything I have gotten from here!
