I’m from Canada,I just received my order and I so love the clothes I got .I looked everything up before I ordered to double check things,I’m not disappointed,I love to watch the try ons that the ladies do,it so helped me with picking the size I thought I would need .I will definitely be ordering more .keep up the awsome styles ladies 😍😍😍😍😍😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍👍👍💕💕

I’ve had some good finds on Chic Soul in the past, however the quality/sizing is definitely inconsistent and you can’t return for a full refund, just store credit. To be fair, they had great customer service when I emailed them about a wrong size I received. HOWEVER- My biggest complaint I have about Chic Soul is I don’t believe they’re honest in posting their customer reviews. Positive reviews I have left have been posted almost immediately, however several negative (or even neutral) reviews that I left never got approved to be posted. I find this to be very dishonest. By blocking out the negative reviews on the site, people are buying these poor quality or ill fitting items and then are unable to return them.

The sizing is not accurate and there are no refunds.

Don’t fall for their marketing on Instagram. Cheapest clothes possible. They are ill fitting , made of strange material , and the sizing is completely off. I hated everything I bought and I am now stuck with it. I did try return some of the items and paid $20 out of pocket to ship back. Two weeks later the USPS website said the package was attempted to deliver and then nothing after that . Chic Soul did end up giving me gift card for the return amount and I was very careful with me re order. Again I hated everything I ordered. One of the dresses I ordered in two different colors and they both fit widely different. The model they use is only a size 14/16 , so everything seems oversized on her. When you get it, it’s not true to size in any sense of the word , and the material is clingy. They don’t offer refunds because they know that the clothes are complete trash and most people will not pay to return and if they do , they will place another order they don’t like , pay to return it again, and the cycle continues. I will never buy anything from them ever again. I tried to review one of the items and just like everyone else said, they don’t post any negative reviews. Every review on their site is positive.

*** update on the clothes I was forced to keep . One of them now looks like I’ve owned it for years despite wearing it once and washing it. I wash all of my clothes on delicate in cold water , tumble dry very low , or air dry. The shirt in question has faded material and pilling as well as a small hole. I washed my clothes from Torrid in the same load, and they came out just fine. Second shirt shrunk and the color faded beyond belief. Please if anyone is thinking of ordering from here don’t. I read the reviews prior to placing an order , and I wish I had listened to them. The clothes sent are actually worse quality than what you can purchase on SHEIN. I’m really disgusted with this company.

I was so disappointed thought I finally found a boutique I loved so much at, but no luck. I bought about 10 items and maybe one was worth the money: everything was the poorest quality, the sizes where all over the place and when washed once, and I hung to dry it looked like a 20 year old dress the quality is so bad. I was so disappointed.

The sizing of their items is completely inconsistent, so ordering is a total guess. Nothing fits according to a scale. I own a Chic Soul tank in a 1X and had to try a 3X in a light jacket because 2X was too small! The ‘quality’ doesn’t stand up to wash and wear. Most items look cheap in person. I have had a heck of a time asking for a refund, because they insist on granting gift cards for future purchases. I don’t want to buy anything else from this crappy company! Save your money (included extra shipping costs to return items) and shop elsewhere!

I have been buying clothes from Chic Soul for a LONG time until recently. I purchased a shirt for $35 and then two days later I saw an add for the same shirt on another resale site for $19.99

Since this happened I have been trying to find their clothes on other vender sites and almost always they are $15-$20 cheaper.

Yes, they cater to plus size. If you want to even call it catering. More like ripping off women who have a hard enough time finding clothes. They sell several brands and in the past I had tried to call to ask for the brand because partical brands fit me well and some were totally off - but who would have guessed..they don't give out brand info, and now I know why - they are upcharging so dang much that they don't want people to figure it out. They are USA based but buy clothes from venders all over.

Not to mention their clothes are horrible quality. I've got a few nice things from them, but almost everything else shrinks after one wash, pills super quicky, or is totally messed up with seams - and most of the time washing instructions aren't given.

Won't be supporting this small business anymore.

I’ve been shopping with Chic Soul for over a year. I’ve been very happy with the styles and prices. I don’t understand how anyone can knock the prices. The quality is very good and the prices are great.
I finally found a store I have so much fun picking items!

I'm so disappointed in my purchases! The return policy is terrible since they only give you a credit. In order to exchange or get a credit you have to pay to send the item(s) back. Then you order another item to just send it back and have to pay another $10 to ship it. Chic soul has come across my page for the last few years. Clothes always looked so cute!!! I was reluctant because of some of the reviews, but decided to give it a try. I was very disappointed with the items I purchased! Their clothes are not of good quality, the sizing is off and they are ridiculously overpriced!!!! Extremely disappointed!!!! The model wears or poses very well, but in reality, it does not look that way. False advertising for sure!!

I love the clothes I have received from Chic Soul. I have several pieces I have purchased, and I have had no problems. Yes, I do agree they are a little pricey, but, the price is listed, if you think its to high, don't buy it.

The clothes is really cute and the fact that they cater to plus size is great because it’s hard to find cute clothes. I just don’t feel the price of the garments is justified. The quality of the clothes is hit or miss. I have a sweater that was fifty five dollars and it’s held up good. I also purchased a cute sleeveless top and one wash the threading came undone and it’s not wearable. That shirt cost me fifty dollars. So overall they need to lower their prices or purchase garments that are better quality. Previous comments state the company is not based in China. Yes that’s correct but they purchase clothes from wholesalers that have their garments manufactured there. Chicsoul does not manufacture their clothes, they are resellers. They have an array of different brands. So yes some of the clothes they offer are made in China.

BEWARE CANADIANS!!!!!!!

I purchased several items through their website online retail shopping. Well did I receive a surprise when I received from FED-EX CANADA an Bill Payment for various import charges and fees associated with my purchases. One invoice from FED-EX CANADA dated OCTOBER 15, 2020 in the amount of $55.38, which I paid immediately.

I contacted CHIC SOUL providing all the information necessary, but that wasn't good enough they wanted me to scan the invoice, upload a copy to their attention. I wasn't able to do that, as I had a number of medical issues that required my attention.

On December 30, 2020 would you believe I received a 2nd bill payment notice from FED-EX CANADA regarding another order that I received from CHIC SOUL of a purchase on August 20, 2020. The amount of the fees, import charges, etc. etc. totaled $65.17 which I paid to FED-EX CANADA on December 30, 2020 the same day I received the invoice from FED-EX CANADA.

CHIC SOUL doesn't tell Canadians that there are hidden fees involved when they use an outside courier or add these extra import fees when you check out the items in your cart. No, we have to receive notifications from the various couriers by snail mail months following our purchases.

Sad on top of the USA high exchange rate and now these added import fees etc. are added on at a later date. So I paid between (2) invoices from FED-EX CANADA a total of $ 120.55. This is robbery and I should be refunded accordingly.

SO PLEASE BE AWARE ALL CANADIANS ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY. BEAWARE OF THE ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES DOWN THE ROAD long after you have made the purchases.

The quality of their clothes ALL MADE IN CHINA is the worst I have ever encountered. Their clothes are illegally sold because there are no tags indicating where it was made the fabric or care instructions. I wash my dresses shirts in woolite and cold water and air dry. I always wash my clothes before I wear them. All 4 dresses shrunk! They now are the size of a shirt. Chic soul will not refund or exchange PERIOD, I was told it’s my fault for washing them wrong. When o pointed out no care instructions were sent they told me too bad it’s my responsibility to log on and look them up. So I did look up the care instructions. They were identical to what I did except the care instructions indicated you could dry on low which I didn’t do. Soul Chic ignored my emails and messages. BE WARNED!!

Clothes are adorable for plus size, very unique. Fairly pricey but honestly poorly made!!! Every item I have purchased is falling apart, holes, seams coming undone. You would think they were made in a sweatshop. So disappointing. I so wish they were made better because they are so cute and different, but not worth what you pay to have them fall apart!

The clothes are expensive and look like they were made in a sweat shop. I put a review on their page stating this exact review and they deleted it. This company is a scam! The clothes look amazing and chic online but garbage in person. Please save your money and shop somewhere else!

I have ordered several times from Chic Soul. Their clothes are super cute and good quality. Some items are a bit pricey, but they offer frequent discounts and sales...you just have to be on the lookout. I find that their clothes run one size smaller than I normally wear. Returns are not easy. Buyer beware...you can only return an item for store credit, no refunds! And, they do not offer exchanges...you have to return an item (paying to ship) and then reorder (once again, paying for shipping). I used a discount code to order a sweater that was too big. I returned it, and sent a couple of emails to inquire about reusing the discount code to repurchase (in time for a trip). But, I never got a response.

I can't believe all of these negative reviews! I hate it when complaints are unjustified. First of all, this company is NOT based in China- it is in Auburn, AL. The clothing is a little pricey but it is cute, stylish and quality fashion for plus size women which is not always easy to find so totally worth the price in my opinion. I've never had a problem with fit. Each peice tells you what size the model is wearing and gives her height and #size, and even if the garment has stretch or not. Everything I've ever ordered has arrived quickly and usually with coupon codes to use with my next purchase which is pretty nice. For those complaining about the return policy, it is clearly stated on their website for anyone who takes the time to look. And if you are not doing your due diligence and research concerning what you purchase then it's your own fault. I love Chic Soul and will support their small business whenever I can.

Received as a gift and were too large. Tried to return. Rep was rude. Wanted to return and get $ back on card it was purchased on. They showes me where in microscopic letters they onlynreturn in store credits. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE.

This Company does not care about Customer Service. I received a pair of shoes that were damaged and they wouldn’t refund my money. They sent me a gift card instead. I’m not even a plus size I’m a size 8. Very disappointed!

Relatively happy with items purchases. Disgusted by the 135.14 bill for duty, fees, pst, etc. I would be advised as a Canadian, think twice about ordering from this Company. My clothing purchases were around 200. I feel ripped off.
