Purchased a Scarifier albeit at a higher cost than elsewhere, but Chipperfield could deliver it quicker and I required it fairly urgently. Very Happy with the Machine and delivery was completed promptly as promised . Box had been damaged and did not contain the Oil bottle. Contacted their customer service and Oil will be sent to me asp. Overall a good experience.

The service I received both before and after my purchase of the Mountfield 1538SD tractor mower could not be faulted. The saleswoman Rachel was very helpful and extremely efficient in the initial discussions and finally in my purchase of this machine. The delivery was also arranged by telephone and carried out on the day agreed. The delivery driver was I believe Steve and he familiarized me with the mower and answered any questions I had. He was friendly and could not be faulted in any respect. I would have no hesitation of using this company in the future.

I wanted a simple and reliable mower, my last Mount field had lasted 20 years. This seemed to be the natural successor and Chipperfield could supply it at a very good price went elsewhere it was mostly out of stock. It arrived within a week perfectly packaged, and took only an hour to put together and prepare. It started first time and has mown the lawn beautifully.

I purchased the Pro 25 chainsaw as it was reported as a powerful saw. 1.6hp
the manual says it is only 0,7kw = .9.0hp which is correct?
It had good reports from other users. I have to say my experience withe the saw supplied was not good the saw being under powered needing to hold the weight to help saw through a 10 cm bough. I have requested return of the saw,but the courier DX Express have failed on 3 arranged collections and return the saw,which requires you to be in from 9 to 5 .This has involved numerous emails and telephone calls.I asked if they can use another courier,but they declined. I am now in receipt of a saw unfit for purpose,packaged for return delivery.
I will think twice before buying garden machinery on line in future.
I know this could just be a one off. But Too much waste of time and hassle.

You guys did great , shipping was super fast and the machine itself was easy to assemble and add the oil.
Having used the machine a few times now I have to say very impressed with its scariffication.
Easy start and great on fuel.
If I am picky the handle assembly has got flex in it when you manover the machine in some tight turns.
I understand this is not a commercial grade kit, I would recomend it and for the price you will not be disapointed

Box was delivered with damage signs, to the neighbours an the body of the equipment is slightly bent. I guess they just used anyone to deliver it and as it is a heavy item, probably got dropped. I fixed the wheel as I need the equipment and it is a low quality one, but nex time will try to buy it over the counter.

Excellent price. Superb machine . Great company to do business with. Delivered spot on. Delivery driver very polite.

Sold me a lawnmower that was not in stock and didn't know when it was coming in.

Purchased a petrol mower. The website and shopping experience was good and easy. Unfortunately when the order arrived the box was quite damaged and looked like it had been tossed around a bit. It didn't look like it had damaged the item inside so I accepted delivery. There was a small amount of damage only to the grass catcher where the plastic had been bent inward. I managed to straighten it but it has left a mark so not perfect.

Very quick delivery...includes oil...easy to set up. Started first time but do initially leave at first or second height setting until you get used to the machine which is very powerful but easy to handle. Warn no need to use choke to restart when engine hot.

After visiting Chipperfield Garden Machinery, I was very impressed with the service I received. Upon entering the shop, I was thankful for the support I was given. I was after a new lawnmower and was unsure of what I needed. The shop staff spent time discussing which lawnmower would be the best for the size of my garden and they explained the different options when using them. I decided on a Feider 1600 Electric Roller Mower and I am so pleased with the product. It is easy to set up, use and has cut the grass well. It has done everything I was told it would. It is great build quality with it able to cut grass for an extended period of time.

I am also impressed with the after care I received. I contacted Chipperfield for advice on maintenance and they gave me so much information it was great. I would highly recommend Chipperfield Garden Machinery to everyone!

Haven't received the item yet , as there is a delay in supply chain. However, the people at Chipperfields couldn't have been more helpful - in providing options and keeping me informed as to status of order as I chose to stick with my original choice. All I spoke with are of a pleasant disposition - pleasure to deal with.

I ordered a weed burner then was told they didn’t deliver to the Isle of Man.

Perhaps they should say this on their website.
To save me the waste of time waiting for it to be delivered. I could have ordered it elsewhere

My son and I took our hedge trimmer to this company as it was sounding sluggish. The 2 men there were really friendly. They gave tips on how to keep the machine in tip top condition and changed the fuel we had put in. I did not feel at all intimidated as a women being in a mans environment. I would recommend anyone to go there, good prices and friendly advice.

I am really pleased with the scarifier’s effect on my lawn and would definitely give it a 5, but was less delighted when it first arrived as it did not appear to be a new machine. Although the blades were clean, the wheels were dirty and there were some scratches on the petrol tank. Also, the box was not well packed and it seemed like it had already been opened as the cardboard inserts were just stuffed in and did not seem to be in the right places. I spoke with Chipperfields and they explained that the dirt on the wheels was from the factory testing and that this was the last one they had in stock. They offered either a bottle of oil or a packet of strimmer twine as ‘compensation’ for the state of the machine, which I declined as it was to be honest insulting. I would definitely buy the machine again but would never use Chipperfields again as I don’t think they were being honest about the machine’s history.
