We’ve just had Solar Panels and battery fitted. We chose Cisco as we had used them before to have our loft sprayed with Insulation foam. We found Cisco very helpful throughout the whole process so when we were looking for a Company to install Solar Panels Cisco seemed the obvious choice. We were not disappointed. When Phil the surveyor came out he was very thorough and spent as much time as needed to answer questions about Solar Panels generally. There was no pressure and Phil said he would leave us to think about it. With all that’s going on with energy prices it was a no brainer and the next day we signed up to go ahead with the work. We were told it be about six weeks but within three weeks we had a date.
The guys who came out to install the panels were brilliant and kept us informed with all they doing. It took a day and a half and by the time they were ready to go, you wouldn’t even No they had been here. They were so clean tidy and just nice to have around. Three weeks on we are delighted with our new Solar Panels and the app gives us all the information we need to see how much the panels are generating what percentage we have in the battery and what we have sent back to the grid. I can not praise Cisco enough and would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to reduce their fuel bills whilst at the same time reducing their carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels. I am really pleased with my solar panels and battery installation, and have made positive recommendations to my family and friends. Unfortunately the current economic situation and problems in Europe did cause a few problems. The solar panels for which I was quoted were unavailable so slightly larger panels were installed at no extra cost. The panels were put in ahead of the battery, which was delayed, in order that I could benefit from the forecast good weather! Two months later the battery was installed and is now doing its job.
The only downside of the whole process was the fact that the total system couldn’t be installed in one go. The surveyor didn’t know enough about the product installation and therefore things had to be fitted in a different place than planned. He told me that access to the loft space would not be required, but definitely was. The engineers that installed the meters didn’t leave enough space under them for the battery to fit. Luckily there was enough space alongside to take the battery. Had everything been installed together these problems would not have arisen.
Despite the hiccups that arose I am very happy with my system and have recommended the company to family and friends who have already been in contact with Cisco Homes.

The architecture was wrongly designed. They told me i need double the amount of batteries i really needed. then they sent the wrong kit twice then the MD shouted at me down the phone and told me i must have asked for the double the amount of batteries! after a week, ive had to turn it all off because the fuses are sparking.
They then accused me of opening the unit which caused the sparking. This is 100% not true and i have witnesses who can attest to the unit sparking with no intervention from us! Cisco now they refuse to answer the phone or reply to emails. because it was sparking, i have since turned off it is currently unsafe! i entered the garage where it was situated and there it was sparking! I will be taking this to the regulator!

The lads were very efficient and cleaned up after themselves.

I had this fitted in the spring but felt that I was unable to write a review until the temperature had dropped. I now think that it has been cold enough to write. I have noticed no difference in the temperature of the house, strangely if anything it seems colder. This may be an illusion but it's definitely not warmer and I would therefore conclude that I have wasted a lot of money. If you would like to offer compensation I would be happy to accept a full rebate.

Cannot fault workmanship and operatives were both extremely polite and careful, taking care to keep property tidy, including removing all waste/dust at the end of the working day.

This company can be trusted to give you honest advice around the viability of having a solar power system.

I have an old house with lots of chimneys and shade. The surveyor was very good, reviewed all the potential shadows, explained the sun etc in summer and winter. He actually recommended that a solar system would not be a viable option. This was a shame, but I really appreciate the honest and professional advice.

The home survey was conducted very professionally and very informative. The date was set for the installation and as set the gentleman turned up to fit the membrane. They were very polite and courteous and professional, all work carried out to our satisfaction. The gentlemen who came to spray the foam insulation were a repeat of the first day. Overall we were very happy with the whole experience and would fully recommend Cisco homes

One of those crap cold calling companies. The less said the better. Hope they go out of business

The insulation of my solar panels looked promising at the start The company rep has been excellent throughout with his contact with me. The scaffolding was erected on time although they had to return to make some parts safe to use. The Electrician mounted the front of house panels and wired them in. all was well and half the work was done.
It is now 40 Days later and I've been waiting patiently, for any type of contact or date to FIX the remaining panels to the rear of my property, and the SUN shines on and on but I only have half my panels working. I have paid for the work done and have the panels in my garage ready to be installed. But WHEN will any more work get done? This 3 or 4 day job has turned into a nightmare. Scaffold poles are covering the windows front and back and it feels like a Prison, we can't even open our windows fully in this hot weather. No one from the company will answer our calls and the managers don't seem to care.

Originally from a doorstep canvas which I don’t normally do I knew this was a local company, so was happy to listen. The information I was given about the loft MOT appealed as having lived here for 21 years the loft has never been touched other than for storage.
The sales person was very informative and clear about the options available to us. The quote was valid for 12 months but we were happy to book straight away. The installation was completed within two weeks and the work was done over a two day period. Firstly emptying the loft, putting up the lining and then on the second day the insulation was added.
The teams were courteous and accommodating and gave us confidence about the work they were doing. They left the house clean and tidy and would have refilled the loft but we declined as a declutter is well overdue.
It has not been long enough for any difference to be notice but I am hopeful for the future.

Very well organised crew, all equipment arrived well in time for the installation. We were told the batteries were delayed and would arrive in 2 weeks so was given the option to delay everything for that 2 weeks, we decided not to and went ahead, the batteries arrived the day of installation, very tidy and efficient team, we were well impressed.

All I can say is what a great company my solar panels were done way quicker than I thought and exactly when and how they said it would be done. All the staff members that I spoke to from the person on the very first phone call to installation guys where so genuine and courteous. Very pleased with the outcome looking forward to seeing the future benefits🙂

Had a solar install completed from Cisco Homes last week and was amazed by the service! Everything from the first call to book the appointment to the final install was a 10/10 service. Would definitely recommend.

We have been most impressed by the whole process involved in roof foam insulation- from ordering to lining to installation. The visit by your surveyor was extremely professional and informative. The men who carried out the 2-stage installation worked and behaved as well as we could possibly hope, leaving the place as tidy (even tidier) than when they arrived. Thank you to all concerned.

Solar Panels sales pitch, installation, guys fitting, time frame stipulated, collecting the money, etc all superb (oh, except the solar panels weren't quite where I wanted them, but that was 18months ago and the subsequent customer relations has been dire - except for the nice lady on other end of phone; I tried to contact them to iron out some minor issues; TP Links not working. The promised electrician never came. I had no installation /proof of purchase documentation causing me to lose money on the Export to Grid (an unknown/unquantifiable amount over the months).
Generally phone calls and emails give you the run-around/excuses/other people's problems/so and so no longer work there. Most recently call 18th July: No response (however the lady on the desk very nice) Emails fob you off/never answered.....gives impression they had your money and just not bovvered.
Shame really-I specifically went to go to a local company to avoid this sort of thing. P.S I did get all my paperwork in the end through the ombudsman. Just feel dragged into and through a thick, gooey unnecessary mess. Would I recommend?NO

The 2 installers arrived as arranged to commence the installation of the Inverter & the battery in our garage. They arranged the installation of the Solar Panels in line with my work commitments. As they were working on the roof, they didn’t interfere with the Foam Engineers working inside the roof space. Both of the Solar System engineers were very professional & courteous to my wife & me throughout their time on site.
The 2 Foam installers working alongside the Solar team were also hard workers in such a limited work place, inside the loft.
A good job was done by both team, a credit to the Cisco Homes workforce.

Jon the salesperson explained everything thoroughly and answered all our questions from how many panels to how they worked . Also gave us a breakdown of each procedure.
The scaffolders were pleasant and friendly.
The installation was very professional explaining what to expect, where to install the system and how it works . All 3 guys were friendly and cleaned up after they left .
Very happy from the 1st phone call to the solar panels working. Definitely recommend. Great job 👏

I recently approached Cisco Homes for a quote, and received a callback within a few days to arrange a time for a surveyor to visit our home. The person I spoke to said that both myself and my husband would need to be present for this. When I explained that my partner and I would find it very difficult to be home during the day at the same time due to work commitments, she cleared it with her manager that they could do a quote with just me present so I arranged to start work late on the morning I booked. However, when the salesman arrived, he refused to provide a quote with just me present. I explained it had been previously cleared on the phone, but after calling his manager, he refused to proceed as I ‘wouldn’t be able to make a financial decision without my husband present.’ I suspect this was because I am a young(ish) female which is just outrageous and misogynistic. I just wanted a quote to be able to make an informed decision! They completely wasted my time, and I won’t be rescheduling.
