The workmen turned arrived at the proposed time, once the equipment was unloaded they went up into the loft to prepare to start the job. They clearly explained to me all the different stages.
Apart from a well earned coffee they never stopped working during their time here and when the work was completed the Hoovered up any mess made.

Cisco Homes were recommended by a friend, and I'd be happy to recommend them to others as well. The initial consultation, design & survey was well done. All the documentation made sense. On the day of the install everyone arrived on time (3 electricians and 2 roofers) and the job was carried out to a really good standard. I was really pleased with how the cable runs were managed as the property is less than straightforward!

Had more than one delay with solar installation dates which was an inconvenience along with the installers not turning up. Cisco Homes need to review what they promise customers about dates and processes as not clear with our experience. Very prompt at asking for payment too and delays with documents. Let’s hope they make improvements as it will definitely assist with customer experience. The system itself is up and running though the app that allows to read the data frequently goes off which is annoying, though with experience of the system you can gauge when to use electricity during the day.

Excellent, workmen arrived on time, did a good professional job on the roof insulation, everything cleared up and left tidy on completion, no complaints.

There were two guy's on this job , they laid out material on the carpet and stair case carpet to protect , we were advised this would be noisy which we accepted , the job they did was proffesional, after they cleaned everything up packed everything away and left , would recomend to anyone.

We were approached in a cold call and told the subject was loft insulation. Ours was pretty old so I agreed a time for a rep. to call. He was polite and friendly and explained in detail how, if we agreed, his company's people would would spray foam between the roof struts to stop heat from escaping through the roof tiles. We did agree, in light of increasing costs this winter so far and expected greater increases for energy in the future. The men who came to do the work arrived within the time scale we were told they would and were also polite and friendly. They lined the roof with membrane the first day and the foam was sprayed in on the next. It looked like hard work; nonetheless they remained cheerful and friendly till they left. We were not encouraged go into the roof space and look as there would still have been particles from the disturbed fibreglass in the air (the men had been wearing masks throughout), but we were shown photographs. It's not yet been long enough for us to judge the effectiveness, and also the weather hasn't been typical, but we have high hopes.

I had CISCO foam loft insulation installed. At every stage of my experience with CISCO, I was dealt with politely and efficiently. The office staff kept me informed of appointment times. The workers were polite, hard working, and left everything clean and tidy.

Do you remember the programme from 20 years ago where they set up camera to catch the salesman trying to sell a product to a vulnerable unsuspecting person ?

Then the bad news that the loft has some type of damp ( moisture ) BUT DONT WORRY WE CAN SORT THAT OUT FOR YOU
Then the salesman states his phone is broke and he can only use it on loud speaker. While he phones the office to get a reduced price for the job, he tells his boss how lovely his customer is and states she doesn't look her age ( 80 yes) and then tells his boss the moisture reading . His boss gasps in horror and says if the customer participates in a new scheme which consists of 3 surveys after the works carried out then she would be entitled to a 30 % reduction . Thing is the house already has adequate insulation and the house was boiling hot as always , the salesman was hot and so were we . The salesman got very angry when I suggested he leave us with the quote stating as soon as he walked out that door the reduction would go with him ( repeated over and over again ) He sat and argued with myself ( I am the homeowners carer ) I told him she was vulnerable and he just wouldn't listen and kept referring back to the homeowner to carry on with the sale . He even stated the homeowner was asked if she needed someone with her and she said no so with all respect it was nothing to do with me ...I was close to calling the police but he came to his senses and asked if he should leave which we all agreed he should . There was a lot more that happened inbetween which I will save for a response when needed . The salesman also phoned the homeowner later that evening and told that she had agreed then went silent ...she told him she hadn't and ended the call . She was then scared to go for her papers the following day and I stayed with her all that day because she didn't want to be alone . I phoned this company who the salesman works for and they were very concerned about this incident . A manager was supposed to ring me back today but sadly didn't get round to it as its obviously not a priority. I'd like to know what action they have taken ? I'd like to know why they think it's OK to not treat this incident as a serious incident . Elderly people should not be in a situation with a stranger who is asking for thousands of pounds within 30 minutes of meeting them no matter what service is being offered . Don't just blame the salesman, the company is responsible for their employees and the guy at the office making all the right noises and offering discounts for ridiculous reasons is also at fault . Its a joint effort and if I hadn't have been there they would have got thousands of pounds too . Shocking and very sad to think this is happening to our loved ones and the most vulnerable in our society .

We had loft insulation installed by cisco homes I October 2020. We have seen a big difference in the warmth of our bungalow. It's made it much warmer and our heating costs at the moment have decreased. It was carried out by very efficient and friendly installers. Had a follow up to test the humidity in the loft and its very good compared to pre installation.

The team turned up on time, were efficient, polite and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was completed.

Initially we were informed the product was loft installation, however it was in fact roof installation by way of foam spraying.
The salesperson arrived and at first seemed very informative. This was short lived as it became very apparent that the sales pitch was well rehearsed.

Some of the questions I asked remain unanswered. A quick inspection of the loft gave a predictable result. The loft was was deemed very damp and the moisture content of the roof structure exceeded an acceptable level!! I have since the visit had the roof space inspected by a structural engineer who returned from the roof space with a smile on his face. His finding’s differed immensely from the report of the salesperson.
No surprise there.

The sales pitch gave little or no chance to engage as it was without doubt all one sided. I will say if you are vulnerable in any way and believe their findings of the loft survey. You are likely to be taken in by this sales pitch and succumb to the unscrupulous tactics employed.

The price for completion of the work started at all but £12000 and wow and behold because we didn’t give the correct response, after the mandatory call to the office resulted in a reduction to £7000 if we signed up immediately. This came with the proviso of having a sign at the property for 8 weeks to advertise their product.

As time went on it became very apparent that pressuring tactics were employed for us to sign up immediately. The sales pitch has been used for decades but with modern twist. Once the salesperson realised they had exhausted all the tactics available and were losing any chance of a sale, the mood changed and a quick exit was made.

Finally, Mortgage companies are extremely reluctant to give mortgages to any prospective buyer should you sell the property. In fact some insist that the foam has to be removed prior any sale. Quite daunting.

Firstly you rang us we did not read any advertised material regarding your product. We were told it was loft insulation and not roof insulation,had we been made aware of that in the first instance we wouldn’t have had the salesperson in the house.
Additionally the telesales person intimated that there was a Government grant that was available, which I believe ceased in June of 2021. Therefore whoever did the original sales pitch should be aware of that.

The reduction in price had nothing to do with me advertising your product. Through experience salespersons will test the water and if they fear they are losing ground will offer a discount to gain the sale, this is old hat.
As regards to your product or any other that has any BS approval, first and foremost it has to be installed/ fitted correctly as the standards require.

It is very immoral for your salespeople to expect customers to sign on the dotted line immediately to receive any such discount. For a product that is subject of many criticisms of actually increasing damp due to new research, it comes as no surprise that Santander for one won’t entertain it.

Very happy with the process of the survey as well as the two workers who came to install the product and they cleaned up after themselves.

Just had loft insulation installed.Very pleased with the work.All the installers were cheerful,helpful,clean & tidy,also hoovered through when the work was completed.Only critisism was that the rep said the things in the loft could be worked around but this was not the case,a large ammount of things had to be removed

I have had the cisco experience and i have to say i am over the moon with this company. I was kept informed from start to finish off what would happen and they followed everything they promised. i have to say i read some bad stuff about Mortgages and stuff so out of curiosity contacted my bank Barclays for their thoughts. As long as Cisco has installed as per their KIWA certificate and allowed for a condensation analysis they were happy to mortgage my property. Cisco installed onto my breathable membrane which Barclays say is sufficient for open celll BASF foam to transmit condensation to exit the roof thus not rotting timbers. I think all these negative comments are scare mongerers cos CISCO quite clearly know what they are doing.

Whilst I cannot fault the job done to my loft there is one thing Cisco do not tell you when making their sales pitch. That is that once you have had the work done you will find it very difficult to mortgage or sell your house because the mortgage providers do not accept this sort of insulation. They believe it can cause damp in the future which can mean very expensive repairs and loss of value to the house price. I believe there is only one mortgage company in the UK who accepts this sort of insulation and they are more expensive than the rest.
Of course if they told you about this problem in most cases they would lose their sale so the onus on discovering this problem is yours, as long as they make the sale is all that counts.
All I can say is before making your mind up to have this work done just contact your mortgage provider to make sure it will be acceptable to them, otherwise, like me, you risk losing a lot of money on the value of you home.
