There seem to be a lot of different services to choose from, and I particularly liked their portal and the ease of using it for secure communications (as well as secure transfer of documents). Also the add-on services of translation and apostille just helped when I didn’t have the time to worry about it myself. My life is pretty hectic and I am over extended, but right now, but having the team at CR guide me through was very helpful.

Immigration Attorney Marina was fantastic and she has put so much time and effort into my case. I had troubles with my prior attorney, but CR was prompt in assigning a new immigration attorney who went above and beyond from my special case. Everyone's situation is different, but all in all I invested about $5000 in the US for what I needed to get, the translations and apostilles and of course their fees.

We called Citizen Remote after having a less than great experience with another referred firm. Tim has great communication and instilled confidence in us. Keeping this a 5-star rating because of that — we had a few hiccups but Tim was reachable and fixed the issues quickly. Citizen Remote is a company with good vision. They have immigration experts who take a close look at your documents to make sure you meet the requirements and can guide you when you need to make the right correspondence with government authorities. I had to go through the process mostly on my own from Nigeria but they reimbursed me for VFS and government fees. Portugal’s laws are ever-changing and applying from Nigeria was a new experience for them. Regardless, the issues I faced were swiftly and directly addressed with attention to details. The journey to being a digital nomad is very daunting and it’s good to know there are companies that value us and can alleviate the stress with information, research and care. I am happily residing in Portugal as a resident so glad this was a successful process.
