The online booking was great. The window seat was nice, the dance party was fun. The food came before we left which seemed too early. We thought we had pre-paid for everything and then when we went to sign, it said there were extra charges that were unexpected.

Beautifull experience

I would strongly advise against booking this tour.

I booked the 12:30 p.m. round-trip Monuments Sightseeing Tour departing from Georgetown for my family of eight. We arrived at the Georgetown dock at 12:10 p.m., only to discover that the boat never showed up. There were approximately 20 other passengers waiting as well, all confused and trying to figure out what was going on.

The experience only got worse from there. The company was nearly impossible to reach, and when we finally got someone on the phone, we were told that the tour they had sold us didn't even exist. There was no communication, no cancellation notice, no staff at the dock, and no effort to assist the stranded passengers. To make matters worse, the return trip they advertised didn't exist either, forcing us to scramble for last-minute transportation. We ended up paying a fortune for Ubers just to get where we needed to go.

This fiasco cost us nearly three hours of our family vacation, caused us to miss reservations we had planned, and created unnecessary stress during what should have been an enjoyable day. Selling tickets for a tour that doesn't exist and then providing virtually no customer service is completely unacceptable. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—book with a different company.

Have been on at least 4-5 of these now & although we have had the same 2 course menu each time, the food is so good & well presented and staff so friendly & professional, that it doesn’t disappoint
Would definitely recommend this cruise, not only as a tourist to see the sights along the Thames, but also just as a really nice way to have lunch..

I know this review is long overdue, but I must share my wonderful experience on the City Cruises New York Bateaux Premier Plus Dinner Cruise.

I celebrated my birthday aboard this cruise last year, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from beginning to end. Even before I stepped aboard the vessel, the reservation staff was exceptional. They were incredibly accommodating and attentive, making sure everything was arranged beautifully for my special occasion.

Once I arrived for the cruise, that same level of care continued. The onboard staff was wonderful and made me feel genuinely appreciated as a guest. From the breathtaking views of New York City to the incredible live entertainment, delicious food, and elegant atmosphere, every part of the evening was beautifully memorable.

What made the experience even more meaningful were the thoughtful birthday touches. From the birthday card they provided to the rose I received, every detail showed the effort that went into making my celebration special. Those personal touches truly made me feel celebrated.

If you are looking for a unique dining experience for a birthday, anniversary, special celebration, or simply a beautiful night out in New York City, I would highly recommend the City Cruises New York Bateaux Premier Plus Dinner Cruise.

Massive queue to get on the ferry at Westminster (about 45 mins), then almost immediately a long wait for people to get off and others to board at the next stop (at least 30 mins). Spent more time queuing and waiting than actually sailing. People were not sure what was happening at the first stop and staff said they were too busy to answer questions! The extra on-board commentary was amusing but being told to look one way meant you missed out and seeing things on the other side so a bit of quiet time would have been nice, too.

My experience on this cruise was extremely disappointing. This was our first time, was hoping to be many more!

My husband is a paraplegic, and when I made the reservation, I specifically requested wheelchair-accessible accommodations. Despite this, our dining table was assigned to the upper level, making it inaccessible for him. This caused unnecessary stress and showed a lack of attention to our accessibility needs.

I booked to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I was told by the sales rep " I will throw in a VIP table with birthday decorations", but when we arrived, there was nothing special prepared. It was very disappointing, especially since this was an important celebration for our family. Obviously she just wanted to make a sale.

In addition, the sales representative described the brunch as "everything you could imagine for breakfast," creating high expectations. Unfortunately, the reality was nothing like what was promised. The selection was limited and did not live up to the description she gave me.

Overall, I feel that promises were made simply to sell tickets rather than to provide the experience that was advertised. I expected honesty, better communication, and accommodations that reflected what I was told when I booked. Sadly, this experience did not meet those expectations.

What a great experience for the power of Horse shoe Falls. Everyone is so excited and enjoy the trip

The cruise was cancelled and no one informed me. We travelled to spend a day in London for my husbands 40th and you don't refund train fares or give any compensation and no one was even present to say it had been cancelled

After I complained I have been given two free tickets but I haven't had that experience yet so can't comment on it

We went a short river cruise from Tower Pier to Westminster Pier.
Despite it being a short 30 minute cruise. We really enjoyed it, and the talking guide - Tony was excellent, pointing out sites along the way and giving interesting facts but also with a bit of humour.would definitely recommend. The

Very poor service

The cruise itself was fun. The information leading up to it was flat out wrong when it comes to the food. Dietary restrictions were important to my group and I was told that there would be signs on each buffet item and enough selection to allow each person a meal. Not so. There was only fruit for me. Our beverage server saved the day by getting the chef to prepare a serving of salmon for me. She (beverage server) was amazing on several levels. Her name is “Unique” and she deserves to be recognized for her amazing attention to our table.

Having booked our tickets online we had to wait over 1 1/2 hours in 30C heat and no shade. No communication, nothing. Penned in like cattle, waiting, some people were getting ill because of the heat and the 2pm boat finally turned up at 2.30. The commentator had the audacity to shake his bucket after for tips. Plenty other cruise companies to choose from. Certainly won’t be using this one again.

The cruise was disorganised, when we got to the meeting point there was no one there to meet us, the boat was half an hour late appearing and then docked further along the pier, so people who had got there early and queued were now having to go to a different point and ended up at the back of the queue. There was no apology for being late (we had been waiting in over 100degree heat for over an hour!). The embarkment was a shambles, people all scrambling to get on and the staff seemed to think it was funny. We are from England and had to show our passports which they then took a photo of (why?). Once on board we were served a warm glass of champagne. The waitresses were brilliant, I felt sorry for them having to take the brunt of all the complaints, they did a marvellous job and were rushed off their feet. The food was good and the views more than made up for the chaos, it was absolutely stunning!
