Needed a replacement part for my son's bike. Response was quick and even though part not available, they were able to recommend an alternative and went out of their way to help.

Managed to lose the pivot bolt on one of my Clarks M3 brake levers. Couldn't find any spares online so emailed Clarks customer support. Got a reply same day and they despatched a couple of replacements the very next day, no questions asked. Excellent service and great value brakes that run XT compatible pads :) Gordon

I have a bike with Clarks CMD-23 brake system. I was having trouble finding the correct brake pads so, I looked on Clarks Cycle Systems website to find the correct pads and then I went a bought some only to find they wouldn’t fit. They were completely the wrong type. I couldn’t get a refund so lost money and time. I emailed Clarks to tell them they have incorrect information on their website. And I emailed them asking for advice on which pads to get. I emailed about four times and didn’t get any response whatsoever. It appears this company doesn’t care a jot about its end customer and many weeks later the wrong information is still on their website misleading and costing their end customers time and money.

Have been trying to get a replacement retainer pin for the clout 1 which seems to be impossible as they use unique pins for their products which you can't purchase anywhere else. It's not on the website so after emailing them about it they confirmed I could purchase one for £6. It's now been a month, with regular chaser emails being sent, asking how I can purchase this as I can't see that it's on the website and I have been ignored every time! Will be going with a company who uses standardised components going forwards.

Bought clout1 hydraulic disc brake set. Front OK but rear had a faulty master cylinder. Despite 4 emails and 2 messages via their ‘contact us’ page on their own website, they never responder once. Wrote to them asking if they could help me via recorded delivery and they just returned my letter with no explanation or any offer of help. The website says they are customer focused which is clearly a lie. This has to be the worst company I have ever had to deal with in my life.
UPDATE: Nice to get a reply, even if it was over a year after my issues. You will notice in the reply, there was still no offer of assistance - need I say more!

Always keep spare disc pads and when I came to fit them the brake material had become detached from the backing plate (organic vx pads) so I opened my second spare set and they were the same.
Contacted Clarks via their web site - no response and again via email - still nothing. All I can say is from my experience this company's quality control procedure and customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I know which brand I won't be buying in the future.
