I’ll be using klarna as I’ve never had these issues. Disputes take so long to get resolved. Clearpay are still waiting for the range to respond, the range have said their email should be enough to receive refund. Useless

Give me my money back !
Was refunded by John Lewis, who provided me with proof of the refund. Clearpay then decide to keep partially refund me £19.64 and keep the remaining £90 to themselves!! Been back and forth with my bank, and John Lewis who both have said I need to speak to Clearpay, been waiting 6 days now for a response on their live chat… absolutely ridiculous

Honestly some of the worst customer…
Honestly some of the worst customer service. Good luck if you ever need an actual response. First, it will take at least 3 days for an initial response, then when they do respond, they wouldn’t have actually read your query so they’ll just sent some random automatic response and on and on it goes.

I use Clearpay via Temu. Temu are great, no problems. I was refunded twice from Temu for faulty goods. They fully refunded me but Clearpay would only partially refund me even though Temu acknowledged they'd refunded me fully. Lots of fruitless messages later I'm still not refunded fully. Need it like another hole in my head as my brother has just died but I had to keep on at them. It's a matter of principle. Oh how I wish Temu used another easy payment merchant!

Use your Credit Card, stay well CLEAR of ClearPay!
I would give zero stars if possible. I no longer support this company. I was scammed by a crooked seller and ClearPay refuse to help and are now taking payments in an underhanded way. Note, Clearpay does not have chargeback right as per the rules setout by Master Card so in case of a dispute with a seller, you can wave your money goodbye.

Why are these people still trading they are a load of scamers
Surely something needs to be done to stop them.
I've a bad experience with clearpay I bought goods from amazon using a clearpay single charge card.
The clearpay card was declined
Clearpay withdrew money from my bank account and I never received the goods from amazon.
Contacted clearpay for a refund but they reply with numerous messages and claiming I use the card to purchase other goods
Just shocking.

Poor Impossible to order from Amazon
Poor I want to place a order with Amazon and it don’t work with clearpay when you confirm all details it contacts your bank then it freezes and don’t go forward furthmore the autofill on clear pay it enters details that ain’t even mine really want to place this order but to be told just wait for update and see if it works that’s coming from clear pay
Also I have done that already so what difference does it make they said as I quoted I have to just wait for a update and that’s it

Terrible customer support and no help or assistance
Exceptionally poor service. I returned an order to Matches Fashion on the 20th March. Still awaiting a refund. I contacted Clearpay to see if they could assist me, they are terrible to receive a response from. I had to chase several times for them to look into this matter. They eventually filed a dispute with the seller after several days of me chasing. Upshot of this issue, Clearpay are absolutely useless, they simply side with the seller, quote pointless terms and conditions and try to warn me off filing a chargeback as my account will be frozen and Mastercard would side with them! I would like to know how they know this information without a claim even being raised! Really not happy about the lack of customer service telephone number. I requested a manager to call me back but they hide behind impersonal messages. Truly awful company who offer no buyer protection at all. Really unhappy and will now contact my credit card company to assist me receiving my rightful refund.

BOT response received from Clearpay. I have sent you several messages but you are not responding. Another example of your exceptionally poor customer service.

In response to your reply, nobody will get back to me as you have closed the matter and will not respond further, you advised it is your final position and will not comment further. You assured me yesterday I would receive a call back but instead, you have sent me a message informing you will not assist further. As stated previously, as you are unwilling to assist me, I will get my credit card provider to step in on my behalf to get my money back.

Amazon ended up refunding me the whole amount of £239.99 and has it gone onto my clear pay account nope so now I’m £239.99 down and still have to pay off clear pay absolute scam

Be aware of that this company does not give any buyers protection. Had an issue with an order I did not receive and only a partial refund was given, so now £40 out of pocket.
Seeing the reply to this from Clearpay is a joke. They have no interest in helping, I have already messaged them and had a phone call with one of their staff. They stated since the company doesn’t want to give me a full refund, there is nothing they can do.

Should have taken my time
Should have taken my time
I cleared my arrears only for them to close my account. Had I have known this, I would have carried on paying the debt collection agency in instalments as originally agreed. I also received an email asking me not to apply for credit anymore with them in the future. They don't look at the history. I suffered a temporary set back that's all. Anyway, that's, one less creditor to worry about.

Clearpay use scammers
Was all good until I ordered a MacBook some of the suppliers clearpay use are scammers, they don’t have the items at all. Clearpay say they do “background checks” on the merchant but yet they have this company on there app multiple times as different names! Sent over screenshots and all information and clearpay can’t refund as their policy they are awaiting a response from the merchant who clearly will not send a refund 2months+ since ordering and still battling. I have now had to get my bank involved to dispute as clearpay are doing nothing. I have reported this to the fraud offices and written as many reviews online to warn others!
Withholding money
Bought something, money was taken from my account immediately yet Amazon didn’t receive so I cancelled order. Clear pay have opted in favour of the merchant yet they have my 180 and both Amazon and I don’t.

Terrible company
Terrible company! You can't speak to anybody on a call and they will always vote in favour of the company. company I purchased from (Matches) has gone into administration and not refunded order (within 14 day return window). ClearPay would not listen (transcript response) from their call centre in India. AWFUL 'service'. Stay away!

clearpay stole money out of my bank account
money being taken from my bank account and they do not have anyone to talk to so I have contacted bank and they see it as frued they have paid charges on my account back and are contacting clearpay about the charges there is no one to talk to at clearpay by phone and dont care about your money I will not be using them again thank god I did not have all my savings in bank they would have all been gone just had message saying you can only send emails even when all your money as been stolen out of your account by clearpay I sign in with my finger work that out answered back email them there is over 1000 pound missing and they have asked twice 2email them which I already have what a disgrace got no words to describe this cowboy company they just repled again email them they dont have a phone number because dont wont to give you any help to get your money bck off them they dont care Another reply with the same message crazy is the only thing I can find to say can I take this one star off
