i found that cluey's tutoring has been intuitive and easy for me to follow and has greatly helped with my learning with it being able to help with areas that i may find difficult.

A great way to increase confidence and promote learning.

My son has done the first three lessons with Cluey and he found the tutor very helpful and the resources and practice exercises a great tool to keep learning outside the lesson. As a parent, I found the system easy to use and access to learn more about how he is going week by week. Overall, I am very satisfied with Cluey Learning.

Scammers! Overseas business.

Scammers! Avoid at all costs. Will take your non-refundable money. Run by a call centre overseas. Links and passwords don’t work. Will keep you on the phone in an automated loop. This is not an Australian business. Beware!

Cluey Profits Increase Caliber of Tutors Decline

I started using Cluey Learning 3 years ago. If there was an issue you spoke to a person and it was resolved. People have now been replaced by an automated call system that sends you on a loop directed to their Hub.

The Cluey Learning Hub is not capable of thinking independently and can't resolve complex issues and neither can the online chat system. If you have dealt with Australia Post's automated call system recently, this is how Cluey Learning functions now. So if you enjoy dealing with Australia Post you will love calling Cluey Learning and going on a continual loop when all you really need is to speak to a person and achieve a good resolution.

Cluey Learning also owes me at least 6 tutoring lessons that had to be cancelled due to the tutor being unavailable. Cluey is happy to debit the account 2 weeks prior to designated lesson but takes months and/or weeks to credit the account. Some credits have still not hit the account from the beginning of this year. Numerous emails and texts messages to Cluey Learning and the Accounts Dept go nowhere.

For the 3 years at Cluey Learning my request has always been for a skilled teacher to tutor my child, if that teacher is unavailable don't assign me a Uni student that I have not agreed on and expect me to pay for Cluey Learnings lack of resources. Is 3 years not enough to get it right?

Cluey Learning tutors do not offer any support in between tutoring sessions. Other Tutoring Services offer students the ability to email their tutors in between tutoring sessions regarding assessments, exams and homework, Cluey Learning does not allow you to contact your tutor outside your tutoring time slot. If you email the tutor via the Hub it is either disregarded or not passed onto the tutor.

It would seem that Cluey Learning's primary objective is to increase their profits at the expense of educating the leaders of tomorrow. I cancelled my enrolment today via the Cluey Hub as I do not support this tutoring platform.

If you want to build your child's confidence or excel in a particular subject do yourself a favour and look somewhere else.

I don't recommend this tutoring

I don't recommend this tutoring. I have enough fund in my account but always receive payment failure messages, as well they cancel the lesson on the day of the class. The tutors are getting changed very often.
Please rethink before you enroll your child.

I recently cancelled Cluey with my son

I recently cancelled Cluey with my son. Very disappointed with current customer service experience. Never able to connect to anyone or talk to anyone. Appointed tutor always last minute not available and my son forced to pair someone he doesn’t even know. I lost my faith in Cluey with their support to children’s education.

We had a good experience with Cluey

We had a good experience with Cluey, the tutors are knowledgeable and work well with kids. The online platform and the session feedbacks are quite useful.

Very happy student and Parents

Upon initial investigations the person we spoke to was very friendly and knowledgable about the program and what tutoring would entail. The Tutor that was matched with my daughter has been wonderful, she is very patient and kind and means my daughter feels very comfortable to learn and participate in the sessions. There is feedback provided after each session and my daughter's school teacher has even provided some content of what they working on to ensure the turoring sessions align

Great tutor.

My daughter really likes her tutor and is learning a lot from her. She struggles with learning and school in general, and her tutor has made great connections with her. We have moved times just to keep this same tutor.

The tutors had some wonderful…

The tutors had some wonderful strategies to help me son understand the content he is learning for English and Mathematics. They are kind and patient, they make their best effort to help my son. Although it might not always work that way, I really appreciate the support his tutors have been providing, I love to see them keep up the effort and make improvements to help better understand the content when it doesn’t work out well.

My daughter just loves her tutor with…

My daughter just loves her tutor with Cluey, makes her feel like she can achieve anything and helps with what she’s really struggling with and my daughter doesn’t feel like it’s just a chore! love the feedback at the end of each session , would highly recommended giving Cluey a go!!

Not a Great Experience

My daughter commenced online tutoring for Year 12 Mathematics Extension in October 2023.

Over the course of 14 tutoring sessions she had 7 different tutors many of whom did not know the syllabus or subject matter. There was no opportunity for continuity or for her to establish a working relationship with her tutor.

To their credit Cluey refunded the fees for unused sessions and also did not make me pay the termination fee.

I will not be using the Cluey Learning service again.

Waste of time and money

My son started his tutoring with Cluey in January to prepare him for his NAPLAN test.

What a joke: over 3 months we had several teachers changes in both subjected we signed him up for. For that matter before he started his lessons, the tutors changed at least 2 times.

Two of our lessons were cancelled by the tutors at the time of the lesson, for technical reasons. One of those sessions has not been refunded although my son was logged in and i was the one contacting Cluey to understand why the teacher logged in and out whitin a minute of the scheduled lesson.

I had to request mock test for one of the subjects, and this was only provided the week before his last lesson.

What promped this review was the fact that after my son completed his mock Naplan Test no feedback were given to him neither by the tutor during his last lesson nor by the system.

We also found that most of the tutors were students with no teaching experience, some of which were not even based in Australia.

I would discourage anyone from sign up for this service, you will getter a better experience and more value for money going with a different provider.

I would give their service a negative rating if I could. I can't speak to anyone on the phone. They send template emails. It's extremely frustrating. I've being trying to sort out my account for 2 weeks, even taking a snapshot of my bank account to show them how much funds are in it. Funny how the debit for a cancelled failed session works every time. Rather sign up with a service where you can actually speak to someone on the phone who is willing to assist you as my son has already missed half the term. And to think I was going to sign my other son up as he's just started grade 2!

The learning is fantastic customer service = none!

The learning is fantastic and my son is learning a lot from his tutor who is very good.

The customer service is terrible and we are owed so many cancelled sessions or sessions where the tutor was changed without our consent and we cancelled. I am constantly writing to them asking to keep the original tutor. They keep reinstating him but it wastes my time.

Just want to have better customer service and the sessions we have cancelled or not attended with tutors we didn’t agree to the change refunded

They just ignored this request and have never paid me.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
The student has to have their phone with them but my daughter is being tutored at school where phones aren't permitted in the class.
Can't even change your password without spending 20 frustrating minutes on the phone.
No demonstration on how to join her session, so we just pay and cross our fingers it's not at difficult as changing a password!!!
Only parental access so you have to give your child your log in details, including password, so they can access YOUR account....!!!
The salesman doesn't offer any of this information, just tells you how simple and great it is...well it's NOT

For the SECOND WEEK in a row I have…

For the SECOND WEEK in a row I have logged in to find that my session was cancelled. I have asked more times than I care to remember via phone and email that my daughter's maths lesson be converted to an English session. I was told that this had happened and yet I logged in to find the session cancelled. I explicitly asked the consultant that I spoke to on Thursday to not cancel sessions but instead offer an alternative tutor if her primary tutor is not available.My daughter is struggling - I came to you for help.  Instead all I have got is frustration and broken commitments. She will now be into her third week without tutoring in spite of the fact that we have restructured our weekends around making her available. I enrolled her at the beginning of term but have only successfully had two and a half sessions.
