Your order, #CRC-1350, was placed at 12:53PM Central Time. After it was received, we started the manufacturing process as the Kaleido Sniper M10 Coffee Roaster is manufactured to order. We received a call from you approximately 2 hours later at 3:14PM Central Time with your request for cancellation as you were looking for another product, specifically the Kaleido M10 Pro, which we've also indicated is the same product as the one that you ordered from us as it's an alternative naming scheme for the roaster.
We indicated that as the manufacturing process has already started, any refund would be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the order value as stated in our Shipping & Returns Policy. Unfortunately initiating a stop on the manufacturing process once it has started is costly and in addition to credit card transaction fees incurs large costs for us which is why our cancellation policy is formatted in this manner.

So I was planning on buying a coffee roaster on
Amazon then decided to directly support a small business instead. I placed the order, and a few days later received an email stating that my order was flagged as fraudulent. The customer service representative stated I would need to send a copy of my ID and verify my address with a bank or utility bill. First thing first, I would never send a copy of my driver's license to a random person or random business, and certainly not send any personal information. I thought the entire process was an absolute mess. They were absolutely understanding of my concerns and promptly reimbursed me as promised. I truly wish I could have done business with this company because the correspondence was very polite and prompt. I hope in the future they find a better way to address suspected fraud. Sadly they missed a sale.

Very timely delivery and was the only place that carried the grinder we were looking for. The item was a box within the original box so you know it was untouched from them receiving it. Would definitely order from them again and would recommend others to do so as well!

Great roaster and great Customer Service!
This roaster took a little getting used to as I'd been using a Nesco Professional, which was pretty much setting a timer and letting it do its thing. I like that this roaster gives you more control over your roast. I ruined 2 roasts, but my 3rd was beautiful!! It's a great bargain, in my opinion! Shipping from Coffee Roast Co was fast and the roaster was well packed. I even received a call personally from Coffee Roast Co to make sure my roaster arrived safely and was working properly. I highly recommend this roaster and Coffee Roast Co!

Sandbox Smart F1 Coffee Roaster Filter + Kaleido M2 Roaster
I ordered a Sandbox Smart F1 Coffee Roaster Filter and a Kaleido Sniper M2 Coffee Roaster from Coffee Roast Co. Their customer service was excellent. They quickly answered questions via e-mail, usually within a day, and they even adjusted the ship date of the roaster at my request to ensure I'd be home when it arrived. They even followed up after the roaster arrived to see how everything was going.
The Sandbox F1 Smoke Filter does seem to help absorb some of the smoke output from the roaster. I first tried it with a Gene Cafe, which required some awkward set up - setting the filter up on blocks and bending the top all the way down to reach the Gene Cafe air outlet. Even with a non-ideal set-up it seemed to reduce smoke output by about 50%. I've only used it once with the Kaleido, but it fits well with that roaster and seemed more effective than with the Gene Cafe.
The F1 filter came with no instructions enclosed, but there are videos on the internet to help with set-up (which is straightforward). The power source is a USB plug, which is kind of inconvenient. I just used an old charger from an iPad. It does have an on-off switch which is nice so you don't have to unplug each time. One possible issue is the F1 fans are kind of noisy, so they may mask subtle first crack sounds.
I've only had a chance to do a few roasts on the Kaleido M2. There's a significant learning curve (for me at least), but I see great potential. The fact that you have the control to do profile roasts (with Artisan software or the Kaleido tablet) is a great step up from the Gene Cafe and other roasters with minimal insight into temperatures, etc. The roaster was well packaged from the shipper. The included instructions are minimal, but there are some good videos and a helpful user community online. One item I'd add to the Kaleido roaster is an on-off switch. One way to overcome this is to use a power strip, but it would be nice to plug directly into the wall outlet. That's a small nitpick for an overwhelmingly awesome machine. Thanks Coffee Roast Co.

more than a week and still no tracking number of order.
It has now been over a week since purchasing the product and I have not received a tracking number for my order. I spent a lot of money on the product and am getting a bit nervous about whether this was the right choice. I emailed the support line and was told there was given a fairly vague answer as to what was happening.

Bideli is fantastic and money well spent
I am very happy with my Bideli roaster. I bought a 3 kilo roaster and it is more impressive in person than i expected. Customer service was exellent and just wonderful people. I have never used a coffee roaster before and by my 4th roast i was on to a solid and smooth roast profile. The machince is very simple to use and will allow you to be bring out your skills with consistant results. I look foward to starting a business with this roaster and getting more Bideli roasters.

The Roaster is amazing
The Roaster is amazing! The time for shipping was the one that hurt us just because we are a small business and needed to get moving to making our profit. Roasts our beans with quality and easy to use and take care of. It is by far the best roaster. They were very patient with providing shipping information and times. So instead of 4 months shipping it took two.

Pretty Good Shopping Experience
I purchased "Sandbox Smart R1 Coffee Roaster" from Coffeeroast (#CRC-1212) and it arrived in perfect condition, with sufficient packing material for protection. The item was shipped pretty quickly (1 day after order). I requested price match two times (once from other competitor and once from their own website) and the website is willing to refund me the differences to my credit card.
