I recently used comparable to change electricity and gas…
I recently used comparable to change over my gas and electricity to a new retailer. They provided me with a decent deal with a sign up bonus.
When signing up I provided my address, NMI and meter number for electricity and address MRIN and meter number for gas. My electricity account transferred correctly and is now with the new retailer. However my gas account was set up to my neighbours address as they didn’t use any of the details I provided. Extremely frustrating and I’m unsure how this could happen, especially when moving both accounts with the same address at the same time and providing all correct information at the time. Now I have had to call both retailers 5+ times each and have waisted countless hours of my own time. To make matters worse, origin are not offering me the same deal I was offered with comparable, so it was totally pointless moving and a very time consuming process. Extremely disappointed in the service.
