So far I have not had a great experience using ContactsDirect. This company was listed as the only online provider of contacts that accepts my insurance so I had limited options if I wanted to use my benefits. The website is not user friendly. I had such a hard time searching my doctor and there is no way to add manually. My first order was cancelled so I went in to reorder and the price was different. I had to go through the frustration of adding my prescription and doctor information again. The shipping is expensive. I have no idea if my order will even get processed or delivered so fingers crossed or I have to order from another company without my insurance. Might actually be worth paying more at this point.

Very unprofessional! I made an order because I am deploying for the military. Here I am, about to leave the country still without contacts over a month later. I called and they said they canceled my order bc I "never uploaded my prescription" which with full certainty did, and they never reached out to tell me there was an issue on their end or about the cancellation. Was a waste of time and now I'll have no contacts for over a year, great.

Received my contacts quickly and ordering was easy.

Very easy and slick process for ordering and using insurance.

They sent me a box of contacts that were defective (I understand not knowing they were defective) When I reached out to the company, they promised to send me a new box. Never happened. I then reached out again, again, and again a 4th time. Same promise each time. Never got the new contacts

Edit to add: I’ve already emailed the email address they gave below in their reply. Again, no help. No answer.

The ease of placing my order and getting it on time

Contacts were easy to order and shipped before promised! Will buy from ContactsDirect the next time I need contacts.

How customer service support me to place order. Very nice and great service.

The website was easy to navigate and understand. Thankfully, I already had a copy of my contacts prescription so that made ordering very simple. It did not take long for my prescription to be verified and my contacts were delivered in about 3 days.

I repeatedly got emails that my order was on hold but when I called, I waited on hold only for them to tell me my order was cancelled and I would need to make a new one on the website. Just tell me that in a email, don’t waste my time. Their “apology” was a 20% off coupon that I can’t use with insurance but that’s ok because I won’t ever be ordering from them again!

ContactsDirect is in network for Priority Health which made it easy to apply insurance coverage payment. Unfortunately, this eliminated additional advertised discounts. Net cost was higher than purchasing out of network. Will probably purchase from Costco next time and then apply for reimbursement. Delivery time was somewhat slow.

Had a mistake with order. They responding quickly to resolve the problem. I always order with them its worth it! Good prices

They helped confirm my correct contacts order with my prescription but not before I ordered them. Order was cancelled and needed to reorder again choosing the correct contacts but it should have verified before completing the sale asking me to correct the order according to my prescription

Will not be ordering from here again. Order has been delayed for over a month and they keep pushing the date back every time I ask. There was no notice that my contacts were out of stock when I placed the order. When I asked about cancelling the order they immediately ended the chat. After waiting 10 minutes for another agent they immediately ended the chat as well.
