Impossible to get jobs at the beginning
Too few jobs for low money. They keep 40% from the customer's payment and if you just joined on the platform in the next few months it's almost impossible to get work! They always prioritise the old drivers on the platform! Just waste of time and money!

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, however we would point out that your experience is based on a single day (27th February), during which you applied for three deliveries. It’s very early to form an overall judgement of the platform from such a limited timeframe.
Work availability can vary day-to-day, and our allocation system is not based on favouring “old” drivers, but on a number of operational factors to ensure reliability for customers. Many new drivers begin to see more consistent results as they continue to use the platform.
App is very easy to use
App is very easy to use. Gives up to date information on your bids. Phone call when you win a bid is detailed. Just started my courier journey and am very impressed.

Work volumes and routing can vary depending on daily demand, customer requirements and driver availability. The majority of allocations are automated and generated by an algorithm based on factors such as reliability, location, vehicle type, performance and, importantly, trackability — not favouritism.

Averages to £8-10ph after you factor in fuel expense.
The most important thing to know is the price that they charge the customers averages out to £20 per hour. The part that no one tells you is that the company takes 40% of that immediately. Then you have to factor in how long it takes to get to the job to pick it up which could be any random time of the day and you’re blocked for that specific job for the entire day.
So a job from Ipswich to Peterborough they charge the customer £140 but they’ll give that job to you for about £80. Regardless where you are up and down the country and what are you doing long distance or not? The rates average out the same to about £10 an hour after fuel expense.
No, if you factor in taxes then you’re heading towards £7 an hour.
The soul and only reason to consider working with these guys a little bit of top-up at the end of each day on your income which is paid 5 weeks later on average.

We believe some of the figures and assumptions in your post are inaccurate or oversimplified. Customer pricing does not translate directly into driver earnings on an hourly basis, as jobs are priced per delivery and vary depending on distance, urgency, vehicle type and how far in advance the work is booked.
Driver rates are agreed in advance, with the 60% driver rate clearly communicated and widely publicised. Rates are visible before any job is accepted, and there is no obligation to take work that does not suit your location, availability or operating costs. Travel time, fuel, tax and individual efficiency naturally vary between drivers, which is why hourly comparisons can be misleading. Drivers are also free to submit higher bids where they wish to do so.
We are transparent about payment terms, which are clearly explained during onboarding, and the platform is designed to provide flexible, supplementary work rather than guaranteed full-time hours.
We welcome constructive feedback and are always open to discussing specific concerns directly, rather than relying on generalised assumptions.
