Website used a photo of a lovely delft…
Website used a photo of a lovely delft style candlestick that was not representative of the actual item. They state that their supplier &Klevering had changed the design "the design has been updated within the last year" but somehow they missed this key fact. So now I have to go and drop the package off using my time, which I am very short on. They were very polite and offered 10% off but the item received is a very clumsy version when compared to the image supplied at the time of purchase. That has now been removed. I also note three other suppliers of the"clumsy" version are available and it is not noted that the maker is &Klevering. I would not shop here again.

As confirmed in our email correspondence, the image on our website was outdated and the design of this product had been updated by the brand &Klevering within the last few months.
We have now corrected this on our website to reflect the current version accurately.
As soon as this was identified, we offered you a free return with a prepaid label so you can return the order for a full refund if you wish.

Terrible delivery from Evri
The product I bought was in perfect condition BUT the delivery was appalling. EVri is a terrible courier company. I ordered the item as a present and the delivery was supposed to take 5 working days, but it took 8 and I couldn’t give my friend he present on her birthday. I suggest you complain to Evri. It was impossible to track my parcel on their website. It just said “we have your package” and there was no other way of tracking it. I phoned your customer services and was to,d i should have opted for parcelforce if i’d wanted it more quickly and there was nothing you could do as you had dispatched the parcel.

We’re really pleased to hear that your order arrived in perfect condition, but we’re very sorry that the delivery experience with Evri was frustrating and that the parcel didn’t arrive in time for your friend’s birthday.
To be completely transparent, Evri isn’t our preferred courier either.
We offer it as an economy delivery option for customers purchasing smaller items who are not in a rush, as it helps keep shipping costs lower. We do make this clear at checkout that economy deliveries are made with Evri however, we also offer a DPD 24-hour service for just £1 more, which is usually the better option if timing is important.
I can see that your order was dispatched the same day it was placed, so it left us as quickly as possible.
Unfortunately, once Evri has collected a parcel, there is very little we can do to speed up their delivery process or intervene.
We completely understand your disappointment and really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.

Great communications
Communications with the team are excellent. After ordering a clock I was quickly informed that it would be delayed. The team kept me updated on expected delivery dates and when it finally arrived (packaged up very carefully!) I was delighted. Very helpful staff. Thank you!

We have already emailed you the tracking information confirming that your order has shipped. Unfortunately, deliveries to parts of the Middle East are currently experiencing delays with courier services due to the ongoing conflict in the region affecting air transport.
The good news is that deliveries are still reaching Saudi Arabia, but they are running a few days behind schedule at the moment. Your parcel is in transit and should reach you shortly.

Courthouse Interiors Debiting your card for products they don't even have in their warehouse
Be aware that Courthouse Interiors, in some cases as this one, debits your card for products they don’t even have in their own warehouse. They had stated it will be delivered within 10 days but kept delaying delivery, wasting my time FOUR times stating it will be next week, over and over and over again with long emails that are poshly written and trustworthy sounding but really are just empty words. With each new deadline you are given the impression that it's the true one, stringing you along. The latest agreement was that it would be delivered ONE Month after purchasing date. I then didn't hear again and found out after having chased them yet again (as they didn't even have the courtesy to get back in touch) that it would NOW take an additional TWO MONTHS, which would have made the total of delivery time THREE months instead of the 10 days initially stated! Most unprofessional company I would not trust with debiting my account ever again keeping money for a product which you then eventually have no choice but cancelling and asking for a refund as you find out that 'Surprise Surprise' the product is actually coming from another company abroad who can't even deliver it either! What a waste of time.

As soon as we were informed by our supplier that there would be an unexpected delay with your order, we reached out to explain the situation and offered alternative colour options that were available for next-day delivery, should you have preferred not to wait.
We also made it clear that a full cancellation and immediate refund were available at any point, and we were happy to arrange this as soon as requested.
While the item was not held in our warehouse at the time of order, this was listed as a standard lead-time product at checkout. That said, we fully acknowledge that the subsequent supplier issues went beyond what either of us would reasonably expect, and we’re truly sorry for the extended delay.
We take full responsibility for this experience falling short of the level of service we always aim to provide. Your feedback is sincerely appreciated and will help us improve how we communicate lead times and manage unforeseen supplier delays going forward.
