The process of booking a survey, choosing products and arranging install was smooth and pleasant.

The install itself went well and in general build quality and fitment is good. The installers did a decent job and tidied up after themselves, no issues there.

Though there were some small details that I think let down the service overall. Especially considering the pricing is pitching to the fairly premium end of the market. This install of 2 medium windows, 2 small windows, a back door and street door was getting on for £11,000 even after a discount.
1. The door was mis-measured on survey so the installers had to adjust the frame a bit on the fly to get the fit right.
2.The door was also ordered with a security chain and door number. Neither of which were actually supplied with the door.
3.The fitters also didn't remove my doorbell from the old door frame and just binned it with the frame. Luckily it was a cheap remote one, not an expensive Ring one.

I'd recommend double checking with the fitters they have everything you ordered before they start and make sure you explicitly call out to them anything you want to keep.

By chance stumbled across Crystal Windows in a local B&Q. Made an enquiry about a conservatory being fitted. Needed an old one taken down and a new one being put up. Like for like. four start to finish have not been able to fault anything. The whole team have been so attentive, answering questions, replying to emails, being responsive to all my queries and enquiries and being very patient. The team of builders we had round were such a pleasure to have in the house and were just amazing! worked in the unbearable heat and done just such a great job. Really, really pleased with the end result, more so than expected to be honest!

Excellent work and done pretty quickly and professionally. The only downside is they are not cheap, prices have increased substantially.

Good turnaround time and door was fitted on a day of our choice.
Fitter was very experienced and professional, completed work in timescale and made sure I was happy with the new door and how to use the lock. We were able to keep our existing lock, so no need to get lots of keys cut!

The crystal window gave our home a beautiful look inside and out. Good quality of doors and windows in affordable and reasonable price. Staff are very friendly, and they arrived on time for the installation. They give us lots of ideas, options and advice for every product we want, which makes it easier for us to decide. What is more amazing is that they have flexible ways of payment. Very recommendable.

Windows and doors fited nicely and perfect. Fitter was very good and done the job properly and satisfactory. Work finished in time and left site clean and tidy.

This place is overpriced, and the quality is just average. The original price they give you, which they immediately discount by 30%, is still double or triple what you'd pay elsewhere. Be careful with this old-school "family business" selling technique . Plus, their customer support is not that good at all. Shop around before you even think about using these guys.

Update: Crystal Window replied to this, saying it's not a genuine review. I emailed a manager at Crystal Windows, Michael Farley, on May 16th, and I still haven't gotten a reply. My Crystal Window order number is 145027.

They said in their reply that I haven't responded to their emails, but that's obviously not true because I'm the one who emailed them and never got a reply. The only email I got from them after installation was a generic one asking for a review.

Clean workmanship, clear information, professional staff

Rafael was efficient, thorough, pleasant. He did an OUTSTANDING job on my windows. He exceeded my expectations. I am very pleased.

The salesman was very knowledgeable and there was a good range of front doors and windows on offer.
The fitter was very professional and the standard of work good - he left my front garden tidy and took all the waste. The finance package was clearly explained

Some years ago Crystal replaced our windows. Due to their professionalism, 10 year guarantee, friendly staff and aftersales care, we decided to invite them back to quote for a new front door and porch windows. I was glad to see that none of the aforementioned has changed, albeit the salesman was a tad over familiar. The porch looks amazing and we couldn't be happier. Thank you.

We had a new set of Patio doors fitted. Clive initially came round and did the quote. He was really nice and not pushy. Martin came and did the survey for fitting, he was also very friendly and helpful. Marc came to fit the doors, he was very professional and we were really impressed with how quickly he fitted the doors on his own and how tidy he left our property after he’d finished. The doors are high quality perfect for our requirements.

We had a porch installed .Can’t recommend highly enough. The standard of the work was excellent. Fast efficient polite throughout the whole experience. Extremely happy with them.

I deeply regret choosing Crystal Windows for my project.

The windows are, in my opinion, overpriced for the quality provided. From day one, I have experienced issues with draughts and poor sealing. Cold air circulates around the sides of the windows, which defeats one of the main reasons for installing new windows in the first place.

The hardware quality is also disappointing. The hinges feel flimsy, and the sliding mechanism at the bottom of the window does not operate smoothly and in my case broke after a couple of months. Even worse, if the window is accidentally opened in the wrong position, the handle can end up pointing upwards and the window opens at an awkward angle. The mechanism is different from most standard systems, making it very difficult to find helpful guidance online. Even YouTube tutorials do not seem to apply.

Customer service has been equally frustrating. When you report a problem, you may have to wait weeks, sometimes over a month, before an appointment becomes available. To make matters worse, the only appointment offered often requires you to take an entire day off work, with no precise time slot provided.

Overall, the product quality, after-sales service and response times have been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Crystal Windows and would advise potential customers to consider alternative contractors.

Crystal window gas replied that i have cancelled 2 appointment . This does not make any the delay to get a first appointment is over 1 months. If the windows were of a good quality customers would not have to call after sales service at the first place. The long waiting tike suggest I am not the only customer having issues. ...
