I ordered several products recently from Current.
All but two arrived in a timely fashion.
One was backordered and arrived a few weeks later. One item was sold out.
After a month of waiting for a refund check to arrive, I called Customer Service. I was repeatedly informed that I had not been charged for the unavailable item. I told them I had mailed a check that had already cleared my bank so I most certainly did already pay for the item. The representative could not get this through his head and after “doing the math” said I owed them money!! How could that even be?!?!
They have lost a customer of more than 40 years!!

Almost comical, it was such dreadful service. Ordered checks in early Sept. THREE weeks later, they are delivered and they are printed wrong.

Contacted the 800 number, where the agent argued with me that the checks were OK. (Font and phone number were both wrong) She demanded photos, which I sent.

Three weeks after that, I received another order. Still wrong.

Finally today, Oct. 28, another order received. Phone number finally correct, font still wrong.

How can a company screw up this often and stay in business?

I have shopped with current for many years and been very satisfied however recently I placed an order and from the beginning it’s been nothing one big mess
I needed to change ship address and was assured it would not be a problem after calling several times I was assured there was no problem however a week later I got a notice from fedex that the package was shipped to wrong address-out of state! Each time I called customer service I was told that call volume was to high to call back later or wait 48-72 hours for a call back from a supervisor a week later I’m still waiting for this to be resolved
I have been in customer service my whole career I would never treat a customer the way I’m being treated Their customer service dept is the worst I’ve ever dealt with they need to be retrained
Sadly they have lost a loyal customer I will never order from them again

I had placed an order September 20, 2024. I had selected some Christmas seals that could be personalized, along with other items. I clicked on the button to not have it personalized. After a week of not seeing my order shipped, I called Current. I was told that my order was on hold because they didnt know if I wanted my seals personalized. I asked why no one called me. Also, why did it have an option to opt out of personalization? I had clicked on the button to not have personalization, but instead they just held my order. I got a lot of apologies, but no results. I was told that they would expedite my order, and I would have it by Friday October 4th. Still no order. It has not shipped yet. I had called again, and was told that they would send an email to shipping to expedite it. I have seen this company decline. I have shopped with this company for over 30 years, and I use to love ordering and looking through the catalogs, but I am now going to rethink any future orders.

Company has ZERO respect for customer wishes. I began my first attempt at stopping their catalogs from landing in my mailbox A FULL HALF YEAR AGO. It is still happening. I got the next useless tree-murdering paper catalog in the mail today.

My issue is the illegal delivery of yet more catalogs to my box in spite of (yes I have evidence) notifying them to stop this.
On my second attempt at cease and desist, the agent claimed it would indeed 'take' this time but I am forced to deal with two more cycles of catalogs before this happens.

I loved their birthday card catalog. They have products available at great prices with good sales. The shipping was excellent.Usually can get free or low cost shipping.

I placed an order in mid March, and despite the claim on their website that orders process in 3-5 business days, I still have yet to receive the full order over five weeks later. Emails have been ignored, phone customer service was a scripted read from an agent who had little to no interest in helping. What I did get delivered came three days ago, so again, 5 weeks after I ordered. I had regularly ordered from Current and was a "Blue Ribbon Customer"...lol. That apparently doesn't go very far. You need to spend a certain amount to qualify for free shipping...I get it, that's normal, but in the end it's not even free. They add a surcharge of 2.99. Customers don't matter, but they'll definitely charge your credit card whether you receive the order or not! Never again, Current.

If I could give Current Checks a rating of zero stars I would. I ordered checks from them on Nov. 29, 2023 and did not receive them in the maximum promised delivery of ten days. I have since called them back 5 times always with promises as “we will expedite your order”, or “we need to look into this again”. I requested a call back from a manager on Jan.12, 2024, never received a call back. Then when I called them again another excuse. I finally cancelled my order, no telling where my personal banking info is now. Their customer service and management s___s. Unless you have the patience of Job and lots of time to kill do not do business with these folks.

The Christmas wrapping paper I ordered in July had a defect in printing. The ink ran out so the paper was a pale red about half way through the roll. They would not refund because they said it was my job to open the rolls and inspect them before 60 days were up. Who unrolls all their Christmas wrapping paper when they buy it??

They have good items..and the price is ok..but but they charge over the reasonable price for shipping..and if that is not enough for them.. they also add a charge handling..wow..more $$$$$
This is outrageous..and to top it off..when they offer a deal..and then the next emails the shipping is less..and this goes on..up and down.they, encourage you to be a Blue Ribbon member..waste of time..Even if you call..chat..or whatever.. they are overcharged for their shipping..They are firm..yet not really as you receive their emails..way OVERCHARGED and will not do anything about it when you feel ripped off..Tired of them..I will shop elsewhere..

The after Christmas sale enticed me to buy 5 deeply discounted items. However there was a “Shipping and Handling” charge in addition to a “Shipping” charge. $17.99 for s & h, $3.99 for shipping. A promotional code knocked the s & h down to a few dollars, but the site kept hustling me to create an account, which I did, and I was given a 20% discount code to use. When I used the discount, it resulted in an increased cost because now I was back to paying a ridiculous amount for s & h. I was never able to find the previous code again. Finally I logged onto the site from a different device to see if I could retrieve that original code. I could not, but here is the kicker. On my iPhone, the standard shipping offer was $2.99, while on the iPad, the standard shipping was $3.99. Without the 20% discount I got a lower price on the iPhone.
I have always had good experiences with Current, but they have introduced some shady practices in the order process. I no longer trust them.

I have shopped Current Catalog since the late 1980s -- checks, labels, cards, wrapping paper, gifts, etc. They are not fast like Amazon, but I've been happy, until my last order. I needed it expedited and paid an extra $18 on top of regular S&H. It should have been 1-3 days to fill and then 2 day shipping. On the final delivery day (8 days later) I called and they were still "processing" the order. I spoke to Cust Svc, and they got it going and it shipped that night. It was not a big order! Current sat on an expedited order for 8 days, and didn't do anything until I called. They are really behind the times, they do not care about their customers. I can get my items in many other places. I'm usually brand-loyal, but not anymore with Current Catalog.

I have shopped with Current Catalog many times over the years. The only 2 times I have had to contact customer service, the experience was horrendous. The last time was so bad that I will not shop there moving forward nor would I recommend Current Catalog.

The quality of the greeting cards is decent, and if you look at their sales, you can find some items at good prices. You have to fold the cards in half yourself though, but they are scored to make folding easy. My complaint though is in the delivery. The cost is expensive, and on top of the high shipping charge, there is an additional carrier charge! I ship things with FedEx often enough that I know that what I paid for shipping should have been enough to get my package to me in 3-4 days. Instead, it took 10 days, in part because it spent 5 days at a facility in KS. It's not the end of the world, but the price was too high for the service rendered.

Current catalog lies about shipping surcharge - they send emails with free shipping offer then and a surcharge... none of my other companies have a shipping surcharge! Current is deceitful about this.

Worst customer service around Ordered address labels and confirmed script and wording at end of order and they sent me blank labels Who the heck orders blank address labels Wouldn't make it right and told me deal with it Stay far away

I have a real problem with being charged a $2.99 mail processing fee on top of a shipping and handling fee. That's ridiculous and I refuse to order from them due to their greed! They can keep sending me their magazine at their own expense and I'll keep filing them in the trash can

When ordering checks and labels they are now much cheaper quality and you dont even get a box for the checks, the labels dont even match up with the checks, the prices are even more than before and cheaper quality, if you call customer service it is a joke, its always your fault and not willing to work with you. never again

Save yourself a headache and do not order from Current. Not the same form years ago. You place an order and it doesn't ship for weeks up to months.when you call or email they give you the run around. Read all the negative reviews on Facebook .
