Dainese has finally given me the reason to stop trusting big name brands. I never read reviews on them till I've had my share of experience and come to see so many bad reviews. People say bad customer service? I'm questioning if there is service at all.
Edit: 09/03/25 - of course Dainese would respond to this review and say to "reach out" and when you do, you'll get no response if you already paid for the item. However, you'll get service if you haven't bought anything yet.

Vos équipements sont top, malheureusement quand ils faut changer les sliders d'épaules sur vos manteau cuir, les vis se sont foiré, en meme temps serrer autant des petites vis en aluminium faut etre sacrément vide au niveau du cerveau.
Resultat : des sliders que je ne peux pas changer, des vis cassé dans les plaques ecrou a l'intérieur de l'épaule.
Bien sur impossible de commander ces plaques, introuvable !

Avoid this company at all costs! Returning items robbed me of 60–70 €, and on top of that they stole another ~60 € through their outrageous exchange rate today. You don’t get back what you paid – instead you lose money. This is nothing but a scam and a disgraceful way to treat customers.

I contacted support because the pants I ordered began to fall apart after several uses. A hole in the pants and threads coming out everywhere.
They told me they would refund me if I destroyed the pants and sent pictures. Well, I did that. After I sent the pictures they ignored me for two weeks. I still do not have a refund. I could have paid to have the pants repaired somewhere, but instead I ended up with no money and no pants. Absolutely garbage company
I don't recommend Dainese to anyone..a lot of money for motorcycle equipment and it doesn't protect at all, I had a suit with an airbag and in an accident it didn't work and the boots don't protect at all, in a small fall I broke my leg. In conclusion, I spent a lot of money on equipment that didn't protect me at all in an accident and the people at Dainese don't even care.

Obwohl ich nur den Portoanteil von 6,90 bezahlt, wurde mir das Paket sogar als Dhl Express Paket zugestellt .

Great products. However, be careful buying online from them. They have no exhange system, so if you get the sizing incorrect, then you have to pay to send it back to Italy (65euros from Sweden to Italy), then order another size and hope for the best. This doesnt work in the modern world.

I ordered a pair of gloves after deliberating for some time on the sizing on the Dainese official website sizing chart. I even measured both of my hands to make sure I got the correct size due to the postage being quite expensive at £10.00. The gloves I had selected arrived very slowly ie 8 days and did not fit even slightly when I tried them on. Apparently and according to the customer service agent I have to send tham back wait for them to be credited in up to 14 days and then pay postage for them to be sent out again. As the postage for each time they send out the gloves was £10.00 I asked if they could fund the second delivery charge. They would not. I have been stung in this way by Dainese before and this takes the biscuit. Their products are nice and normally work well. Perhaps no more one of the reasons i struggled to get the gloves on was the label just inside the glove which totalled no less than 3 bulky 3 inch labels in a tiny little glove. Very poor product and the service is no better. Just a shame that the customer service listening function is switched off as per many businesses these days. It would seem that you can treat your customers as badly as you like and apparently they still sell enough goods to make a profit. A shame really. Used to be agood business.

Very unhappy with the service. Bought a new Kangaroo leather suit with a stated delivery time of 5-7 days. 10 days later the suit is still not here. I needed the suit for coaching and it is now scheduled to potentially arrive on the day I am on track. Customer service were very slow, only until I started chasing - they started to progress the order. As it stands I feel like returning the suit given the poor service.

Disappointed and Misled – FC-Moto & Dainese, What a Rip-Off!
I feel completely cheated by FC-Moto and Dainese. I ordered what I thought was a high-end Italian motorcycle jacket from the prestigious Italian brand Dainese. Imagine my surprise (and anger) when the product arrived, and I discovered it was made in China – with absolutely no warning or clarification during the purchase process.
To make matters worse, I was hit with extra fees that nearly doubled the price I thought I was paying. In total, I paid significantly more than what the SAME jacket is listed for on Dainese’s own website. No proper explanation, no warning about hidden costs, nothing. Just a nasty surprise after checkout.
Dainese may have Italian branding, but make no mistake – you’re paying European luxury prices for something that’s manufactured in China. This feels dishonest and misleading. FC-Moto also did a poor job informing me of any of this upfront.
Between the shady pricing, the lack of transparency, and the obvious cost-cutting on manufacturing, I can’t recommend FC-Moto or Dainese after this experience. Never again.
Support gleich Null mehr geht gar nicht. Vor dem Kauf wurden Anfragen relative schnell beantwortet nach dem Kauf keine Antwort mehr. Sowas geht gar nichtaber ist wohl Programm . denke an Widerruf nach gibt noch mehr Anbieter für Airbagwesten
My airbag jacket failed and the customer support has been less than what I had anticipated. It has now over 4 weeks since first reported and Dianese cannot advise when their technical team can even inspect the jacket.
Dianese customer support advise me to contact the Dianese shop and the shop advise Dianese Technical have a backlog and cannot advise further.

Racing 5 Leather motorcycle jacket, after 1 week of light use, the leather was flaking off. Worst customer service ever and wouldn’t return or exchange even within return frame. Quality not worth the price and customer service is worthless. Be aware
To start off, they don’t do exchanges, so if you ordered the wrong size you have to return the item wait almost 3 weeks for the refund and then buy the correct size. The customer service is the worse experience I have ever experienced. Very short and very rude. For such a big brand in the motorcycle industry, you would think there would be some type of generosity. Felt as if I was talking to someone with 5 minutes left on their shift and was ready to get me off the phone and clock out. I usually don’t write reviews but to pay this company hundreds of dollars for there gear and get treated like peasants, leaves you never wanting to purchase from them again.

I’ve found the overall durability to be very poor. The zip has broken on the racing four jacket I bought only three months ago, and the overall jacket looks like I’ve owned it for ten years already. The stitching on the seam around the top part of the inside leg on the Ladadh 3l pants has parted after only two months!
Don’t buy into the high price tag providing good quality and long lasting. From my experience this brand most certainly does not offer this.

I’m writing to express my deep frustration and utter disappointment with your handling of my recent order. After making me wait for over a month, not only did your delays cause my fiancé to miss a race he had been preparing for, but I was also forced to spend a significant amount on international call applications trying to get even a basic response from your team.
And after all this inconvenience, stress, and wasted time, your idea of compensation is simply to issue a refund and toss me a 15% discount code—the same kind of discount anyone can get just by registering a new email address? That’s insulting.
You disrupted plans, cost us opportunities, and made us chase you down across borders. A generic apology and a hollow discount don’t even come close to making things right. I expected far better from a brand like Dainese. This experience has left a terrible impression, and I will absolutely be sharing it widely unless proper steps are taken to resolve this in a meaningful way.
I expect a response that actually acknowledges the gravity of your failure—not another template email.
I already wrote from the website and I already sent an email which you guys ignore and don’t respond as swiftly as you do here.

Leider sehr unzufrieden mit der Qualität und der Vorgehensweise bei angeblichen "Montagskombis" (So wurde das von dem Mitarbeiter bezeichnet). Nacheinander platzten die (alle 4, an den Armen und Beinen) Reißverschlüsse, obwohl ich sehr zierlich bin und vorher eine Beratung und Anprobe stattgefunden hat. Die Vorgehensweise ist: Die Kombi wird nicht umgetauscht, sondern muss angeblich 2 mal "repariert" werden, obwohl man innerhalb von 2 Wochen nach dem Kauf den Mangel meldet. Das kannte ich vorher so nicht. Bei mangelnden Produkten wird normalerweise umgetauscht oder das Geld erstattet, aber nicht bei Dainese. Der Herr vor Ort ist zwar nett und bemüht, aber er kann angeblich nichts machen. Ich fahre seit fast 2 Monaten nach Dortmund knapp 1 Stunde hin und zurück, habe den Einteiler in dieser Zeit nur 3 mal angehabt, weil er eingeschickt und repariert wird. Aktuell warte ich bereits die dritte Woche darauf, werde ständig vertröstet, dass die Kombi schon längst bei mir sein müsste, Rückrufe werden versprochen, aber nicht getätigt. Ich gehe jetzt schon davon aus, dass die "reparierten" Reißverschlüsse wieder platzen werden. Ich kann nicht verstehen, warum man ein offensichtlich mangelndes Produkt nicht umtauschen will und mir diesbezüglich so viel Aufwand und Unannehmlichkeiten bereitet. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich bei Dainese und dann so eine teure Kombi gekauft habe und keine Freude daran haben, bzw überhaupt nicht tragen kann. Zukünftig kaufe ich hier nie wieder, sondern bei anderen Anbietern, wo man kulanter mit solchen offensichtlichen Produktfehlern umgeht.
