Don't trust Daraz
Don't trust Daraz and stores (like Brilliant Store) that sell products on Daraz, according to my and my friends' experiences. They are scammers. Their customer service and the quality of the products they sell are not good. They sell very cheap products for a high price. They didn't claim the warranty as they said. I bought a pendrive from Daraz, and it was broken after a few months. They said the pendrive has a 5-year warranty. So I tried to claim warranty in every way they said. It almost took more than one year, but still they didn't claim the warranty and didn't respond to me. Each and every time they send me a new one. Maybe that's a business strategy for them to scam people. Not only me but also some of my friends also faced this problem from Daraz. From my point of view don't buy electronic items from daraz. I have all the evidences with me.

Do not trust this company. I bought a gift card that is a simple digital asset that they assured will be delivered to email within 24 hours. It’s been days and it is still not here. The support keeps dragging things and making fake promises. It is not refundable either. DO NOT BUY gift cards from these people. It’s not just me. Look at reviews and you will see many people have also complained.

Daraz.lk has cheated me Rs.38,690.00. I bought a Philips Perfect Care Steam Iron GC3920/24 from daraz.lk and they sent me an old one. Then I requested a refund. Then they asked to send the goods back. Then I sent the Philip Iron back. For the last 3 months Daraz.lk has not refunded me and even their not picking up the phone calls as well. Sri Lankan number one thief. I suggest to everyone to never buy anything from daraz.lk. Big cheaters. I have made a police complaint and even they did not come to the police" Then the police filed a case against daraz.lk management at the Magistrate court.
කවදාවත් daraz.lk විශ්වාස කරන්න එපා. මාරම හොරු. මම රු.Rs.38,690.00 ක් දීලා Philips Perfect Care Steam Iron GC3920/24 එකක් ගත්තා. ඔවුන් පරන අයන් එකක් මට එවලා තිබුනේ. පසුව ම ම බොහොම අමාරුවෙන් daraz.lk සම්බන්ධ කරගෙන මේ ගැන කිව්වා. ඔවුන් සමාවෙන්න කියලා ඒ අයන් එක නැවත ඔවුන් ගෙන්වා ගත්තා. ඒ වෙලාවේ සල්ලි නැවත ලබා දෙන්නම් කිව්වා. දැනට මාස 3 කටත් වැඩියි daraz.lk මගේ ‍‍ කිසිම දුරකථන ඇමතුමකටවත් ආන්සර් කරන්නෑ. මේල් යැව්වම බොරු කියලා reply කරනවා. ඔය කියන daraz.lk එකේ වැඩ කරන Madushani, Zuhrie, Zainab, Faris Mansoor සහ Baasith කියලා පට්ටම ‍ හොරු රෑනක් ඉන්නවා බොරු ගොන්නක් කියලා customer මුලා කරන්න E-mails දාන. පස්සේ මං දැක්කා මුලු Internet එකේම මුන් හොරු කියලා දාපු comments ගොඩාක්.

daraz.lk කියන හොර ගුහාව මොනම හේතුවකටවත් විශ්වාස කරලා බඩු ගන්න එපා. පට්ටම හොරු. මුන්ගේ මේන්ම බිස්නස් එක බාල බඩු යවලා ඒ බඩුව ආපහු අරගෙන සල්ලි නොදී වංචා කරන එක. නිකමට හිතන්න දවසට පාරිභෝගිකයෝ 1000 ට රු.2500 ගානේ වංචා කරොත් දවසේ ශුද්ධ ආදායම රු. ලක්ෂ 25 යි. ඕක තමයි උන්ගේ ප්‍රධාන බිස්නස් එක. උන්මේ customers අල්ලා ගන්නේ හැම TV චැනල් එකකම හා ෂොෂල් මීඩියා වල ලොකු ඇඩ් දාලා. ඒ ඇඩ් වලට විශාල වශයෙන් මුදල් වියදම් කරන්නේ අපෙන් හොරා ගන්න සල්ලි වලින්ම තමයි. මුලු ලංකාවෙම අහිංසක මිනිස්සු ඕකට අහුවෙලා ඉන්නේ. මොකද උන් දන්නවා මිනිස්සු ඔය පොඩි ගනන්වලට පොලීසි, නඩු කියන්න යන් නැහැ කියලා. මමනම් ඔය කියන daraz.lk කියන හොර ගුහාවට විරුද්ධව නඩු දැම්මා.

Daraz used to be good. But nowadays probably due to high number of sellers who act as scammers. Don't get me wrong though there are a few legit sellers there as well. But most of them are actually some what of scammers. False product information, damaged goods are some of main problems of these kind. Also you can buy these stuff much cheaper if you just go out there and look for it. The main reason of going for online shopping should be - the price of product should be equal to the one at shop as well. But at Daraz it is much expensive than the actual item at stores. And we also pay for for the delivery charges. So simply why use Daraz?

Not attending to Daraz site payment failures continuously, despite repeated reminders which is an utter waste of time. Disgusting experience...

I refuse to use Daraz ever again and i hope others will do the same. Be it known that Daraz belongs to Alibaba, by the way. I ordered a vacuum packer machine, when i got to the checkout the product had a different description so i cancelled the product and went back to the item page and reordered the correct product. When Daraz delivered they delivered two of the same items, priced differently (!) My employees accepted two packages so in fact Daraz sent me two items and not one. I unpacked the product and plugged it into the power socket, within seconds the device started to smoke and then burnt out. I complained to Daraz by email, several times because i could never get to speak to anyone over the phone. Daraz have never taken any steps to replace or even to reimburse me. A terrible company, cheats and crooks, all they want is your money but they offer no service when the product is faulty. Don't use them, i certainly wont and none of my family are allowed to anymore!

I had a bad experience with a seller named Simplist via Daraz. The quality of the product that I purchased via Daraz was not up to the standards & The finishing of the product was horrible. So I informed the seller regarding the same & it was very sad to say the way he or she replied back. The answer was ( man you have a mental problem, you better see a doctor ). Insulting a customer after purchasing an item is not at all good. I didn’t wanted to return the unit but after seeing the reply by the seller i was so disappointed. I returned the unit with mentioning all reasons for it. The reply from Daraz was that They cannot except and Refund the amount. So see, How Bad they treat a customer. They don’t care about the customer satisfaction. All what they need is to protect their Sellers & earn money from the customers. Never do I recommend Daraz to anyone. It’s not legit. No authentic Products are sold their accept for few like Branded Products Apple, Samsung etc. Don’t ever purchase from them. This is a place where there is No Humanity. The Company + Most of the Sellers are greedy people for Money & Not concerned about Customer Satisfaction.

Of course there are good and bad in daraz but what you need to know is that what daraz does is connect sellers and customers. So there can be good sellers as well as bad sellers. As far as I know they regulate the sellers to provide good service to the customer. Please read the description and customer comments before purchasing any product to avoid any problems.

Keep away from this Company. They sell items and if the price goes up, they will roll our money and refund leisurely. I lost the possibility of buying at a reasonable price elsewhere. No reason was given for the refund. Impossible to contact customer service. It is far better to pay a little more and buy from a more reliable seller. You will benefit in the end.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE. DARAZ MUST STOP DOING BUSINESS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WORST ONLINE SERVICE.

Seriously disappointing delivery service. My delivery was ten days late and every single time I complain they always yell ‘in three working days this will be sort out’ but guess what? It still hasn’t.
I’m never ordering from daraz. They always push the responsibility of their late deliveries on fuel shortage while the other sites still deliver even with the crisis.

Daraz is a bad company. They did not deliver my product on time. I do not recommend Daraz. I feel very disappointed with their service. Satisfaction with the service is zero. Please give priority to customer satisfaction.

Really i haven't a complaint about u . But i want to tell , u take much time to deliever the orders . Please take a immediate action for it . If not u'll lose many buyers . Thank u

These guys are the real thieves and they wont provide warranty for products . They wont provide proper customer service and their service is too bad .

I tried to order multiple items today and the shipping cost was about Rs.950 . Why the shipping cost is so high? Like I can buy something else from that money. VERY DISAPPOINTED .

Daraz Sri Lanka is completely a day time robbery. Various suppliers listed on Daraz online platform
cheat innocent buyers, because of inactive consumer protection authority. These online sellers cheat the buyers under the name of Daraz and it seems Daraz management also keeps a blind eye on this racket as it gets the commission on such fraudulent transactions.

I ordered (Order # 207599200661214) a UPS (value is about Rs. 20K) on "cash on delivery" basis in last week of this May. As the oder disappeared from Daraz system and I had no track on same. Given the need of a UPS under the ongoing power interruptions, then I placed another order (# 207604436228329), but this time I paid for same using my credit card.

After about five days of the second order, Daraz delivered me the first order and given that it was on "cash on delivery" I accepted the item by paying the dues to the person it delivered, simply because I did not want to disappoint Daraz. Subsequently, in about four days, they delivered the second order, and I returned it without opening the package.

After about a week, I got a mail saying my return request was rejected, due to failed Quality Check on the returned UPS. In about another four days, they sent back to me the returned UPS with a Quality Check Report (QC Report). The QC Report indicates the following two reasons for the rejection of my return request:

1. The original package is not in ACCEPTABLE condition. (I am surprised that it was the original package the supplier has sent to me and I did not even open the package.)
2. Not all accessories Present. ( Here again I must reemphasise the fact that I did not even open the original package as my intention was to return it given the fact that I had already got a UPS)

I tried several times to take this up with the Corporate Office of Daraz. However, no contact person to listen
to this kind of grievances.

The entire set up in Daraz Sri Lanka is such that ones you have bought something, you have no escape. However, Daraz prominently publish that the buyers are free to return their items.

So, ladies and gentlemen, beware of this day time robbery. Avoid Daraz.

NB: I have disclosed actual customer order numbers and my email address is made visible to the Daraz. Daraz team can reach me to verify the accuracy of the above.

I refund item 2months ago but they didn't refund yet my voucher very bad service realy disapointed
