I had a 3pm vet appointment.
After twice telling me, after I called them, its coming in 4mins and then 5mins when I called the driver, it eventually came at 2.56pm.
I've used them before and never without a problem.
They are absolute sh1te, especially their 'customer service' and after today, I'll not use them again.

Awful - agreed price and pick up from concert - drop off driver aware of situation with roads around stadium and agreed pick up place - in formation not passed on and had to walk two females and 14 year old half mile to meet driver who then charged more for waiting time refusing to honour contract made when booking - very uncomfortable- driver was prepared to cut deal for further onward journey which we refused - used u er for last leg instead - totally unscrupulous

Booked a car from Greenwich to Heathrow. Taxi turned up 30 minutes late. Google Maps said journey to the airport would be 1hr 27 minutes. Driver refused to take m25 and drove around london and back on himself. 2 hours after supposed pick up time and still not at heathrow and at risk of missing an international flight.

Beware Dodgy Dealings

I opted to use the local cab serve rather than uber, why not? I owe no one loyalty. I compared prices, there was only a few pennies in it , so I booked.
The confirmation stated the fare was in holding to allow for adjustments, never had this before...anyhow
The day of my journey arrived, the driver was very early, I arrived to my destination in very good time.
I opted to use for the return journey, now home and checking my account to find that I have been charged £18.00 more than the holding amount,( Total scam).
On paying the return fare I was surprised when I was told the cost and as I had booked direct with the driver, I foolishly thought a discount. I was hesitate about using the details my spidy senses tingled, beware, no tracking, but I told family my whereabouts an kept in touch throughout the journey.
I had used data cars for years before the days of uber, they had honest and reliable drivers then, ones who would do a fair price off the books.
I will not be using datacars again, as I didn't even know what type of vehicle I was allocated until it arrived. Had a party of 3 or more needed to travel we would have encountered issues.
The car had lingering smells of food it has clearly been used to transport food in the prior days.

Pick up from city airport
Had a booking to collect us from
city airport.
Messaged the driver upon arrival but no response.
Called the office (lady was particularly rude) who advised car was still 15 mins away.
After waiting a further 10 mins the car still hadn’t moved from its location.
Spoke to the rude lady again in the office who put our call through to the driver.
Driver arrived 45 mins after scheduled pick up time. And still made a comment that we were waiting in the incorrect pick up area.
Won’t be using again.

Wish I had read the revues before we booked however we were visiting London for a friends surprise party and the hotel gave us this number. My husband told the controller where we were going, he reiterated it several times. When the controller said it would be £15 he queried it again, gave the address and post code and said it’s only a 6 minute drive. When the taxi arrived it took us to the wrong place! Luckily we noticed before we got out of the car else we would have been stranded.the driver was lovely and took us to the correct address however the fare then went up to £22! We refused to pay this as this wasn’t our fault. He couldn’t do anything about it so we had to call the office and they refused to reduce the fare at all. We ended up having to pay extra because we had to get to the party. Absolute scam! Do not book with this company. They are not trustworthy at all!
Please avoid at all costs, a shambles of a company
Firstly it’s a shame I have to give 1 star as I would like to be able to give 0 stars. We booked a cab for 7:35 pm through their app the day before it was needed for Mothers Day. When the time came for us to pick up the cab nothing arrived, 5 - 10 mins after the scheduled arrival time we received an automated call telling us the mini cab was running late and did we want to cancel it, which was no good as we had a table booked at a restaurant. I rang Data Cars to find out how late, to which I was told they didn’t know, as they were still looking for a driver, even though we booked the day before. After ringing the restaurant to explain we were going to be late, we cancelled the cab and booked one through Uber. The exact same thing happened to us last year on Mothers Day with the same company. We will definitely never use this company again.
The experience we have had about this…bad
The experience we have had about this cab drivers are really bad considering that I booked them for my disabled client and the drivers don’t have patience for them and they still over charged us, and when asked the driver replied us with go and report to the company, it’s not fair on customers and all customers should be treated fairly and informed us early if there is any extra charges politely.
No drivers, address book not updated
For a 10minute ride, they cannot find a taxi for you and their address book is not up-to-date so don't even think of booking one if you live in a newly built residential building or area, it doesn't matter if you are on a 'priority' service (affiliated with the company) or not. Rather get an Uber.
Terrible service avoid
Avoid this company.
Their drivers are rude and demand money for extras - theres charges that are only known AFTER you confirm your booking.
I've been:
* Sent to the wrong terminal
* Been charged waiting time for waiting for them to come and collect me when they hadn't arrived yet
* Told I had to take a certain route (extra cost) because the other route was blocked and no choice
Absolute terrible experience - do not use under any circumstances.
Avoid at all costs
I pre-booked and paid for a car to take me home on New Year Eve but after waiting an hour I gave up and no car ever turned up. The office continued to tell me it would come and left me waiting in central London, only to then realise they never assigned a driver and they had refunded my taxi hours before without telling me. Appalling service!

terrible service - booked cab 3 hours in advance of journey and prepaid - car was 1 hour and 10 minutes late, driver took wrong turning and I had to tell him to stop and I am now fighting for refund - additionally they have taken a second payment with no booking

Prepaid airport booking. Two drivers confirmed.
No one arrived.
We had to drive ourselves, paid £187.99 same-day parking, and missed our flights.

Avoid at all costs. Prebooked return journey to Heathrow t3. Return flight details entered so they knew time to arrive, all confirmed by text message etc. We arrive, no taxi, he's 50mins away in Central London! Utter joke.

Shocking shocking shocking. Scam artists and liars.
Booked an airport transfer and was advised it was a fixed price. Booking was confirmed and then received a text message stating if you want to travel via M25 (which is of course the quickest route) it was an extra £10 and you had to pay for car park. Called them and asked about the additnal frees, the man Sharif started reel off even more charges. 😳
On top of this, he said the £10 fee for M25 was due to toll costs for taxis specifically. I had never heard this so googled. There is no such charge of course. When started to say that the toll didn't exist, I was told my phone was breaking up and he couldn't hear me, that old chestnut excuse. I asked what route they would take instead and he said through central, which time wise takes longer. The only sense this makes is to make more money through lying.
As you can expect, cancelled this booking. Would rather pay more than go with a scam company.
I would not recommend for airport transfer
I would not recommend for airport transfers! We used this company a few times. The price you get quoted is not what you'll pay, you will be forced to pay for car parking when they collect you on the return journey and if they use a motorway that's a surcharge. Works out about the same price as an uber!
They refused to let us book the time we wished to be collected (we are frequent flyers and my husband is disabled so I know how much time we need) instead we get called second the plane lands saying they've arrived...by the time we got through baggage reclaim and passport control our driver was nowhere to be found. Took 30mins and multiple calls to the office (yup that's the only way to contact the drivers). But driver obviously insisted it was our fault for "being late"

Data cars was very unprofessional today he didn’t pick me up at 6:20pm. He got rude to me he swore at me. Very bad customer service.
Horrendous, unhinged, dangerous driver
We have just had the most horrible experience with Data Cars. Reg EN19 UMK. The driver was hostile, aggressive and out of control. There were 4 of us in the car including two 11 year olds, and the driver was speeding to the point where we asked him to slow down multiple times. He refused to slow down. Asked him again. He accused us of being racist (!). We explained we were not racist but wanted him to slow down. He then complained that my husband was yawning (why?!) and became aggressive. He got out of the cab and started threatening behaviour. Our children were left crying, traumatised. We called Data Cars to complain but they said to fill out an online form on Monday. This driver should not be on the road. Absolute disgrace.
