The amount of "cost cutting" and "bare minimum" of effort is way too obvious in this publisher's handling of the product ...

Understandably I guess as in - where else are the customers likely to go? Serious network system issues that, as publisher should be addressed in some way by Gameforge - have been fully monetised by outside 3rd party sellers - making programes to "fix" what Gameforge will not touch.
To their credit these 3rd parties do make available free versions .... but why should they? WHY should players be made to feel like "cheats" or "break the rules" at all .. simply to make a game function??!!

If Gameforge would adjust their own networking to access the game ... this could be a non issue.

Having played the game since its first availbility in Australia - the problems from Publishers "Punishing" instead of actualy "Publishing" - has been a serious killer of any motivation to actualy commit to the title

the recent flood of power and skip / boost items on the cash shop instead of any real work put in by the publisher for fun or cosmetc items - is also motivation killing to play at all

Please - Blue Hole - take charge of your IP .. your game .. and self publish
Even if it meant a fresh start on a fresh Blue Hole managed server ... I for one WOULD start again knowing the developer was directly at the back of management

This "middle man" problem we have .. is not doing any of the titles Gameforge "manage" any favours at all .. they have no reason to actualy care .. and their methods are increasingly "anti-player" or basicaly "retail toxic"

Tera NA Player since 2013 here, i've been playing a lot over the years since the days of early EME, the game was fun, a bit buggy sometimes but those weren't game ruining. After Gameforge aquired the publishing rights for Tera NA, the updates have been getting worse and worse and here is how:

1) A lot of gear updates that require heavy grinding.
Alright, gear updates are fine, but when the task ahead to actually max it out requires you to spam dungeons 24/7 makes it far less enjoyable (spamming 60 of the same dungeon only to fail on an RNG enchant).

2)Ingame events are a joke. Tera gets an event Calendar for every month, and it's given a few days prior to the beginning of the month. December 2021 comes the weekend event. We are told that the daily log in event is from the 1st of December until the 31st of December, and with only 25 rewards, it means that we can skip a few days and still get the rewards.
Fast forward to 25th of December, which was the last day of the rewards, unlike the 31st which was promised. After the rewards event stopped, the event page was swiftly removed from the launcher and a new modified one was added. Another event mess was before the latest update. An enchanting event was in full swing before the update, and as it kicked in, the maxed out old gear turned out to be useless, and the effort of those players who grinded during those weeks got wasted.

3)Last major Tera Update (as of 19th of February 2022) came with a few major problems. The update wasn't even fully translated, the new cutscenes were in korean. The early dungeons are very hard for casual players, and the drop rate for items to get to those medium level dungeons is abysmal. Just like it was pointed at 1), you are grinding for item enchants and all you get is a RNG gear development, which results in massive waste of time.The only way to avoid the grind is to buy from the cash shop the materials for real $.

4) Launcher is buggy as in it can't get game updates without crashing and without trying to "repair" the entire game instead of updating. This bug has been going on since transfer but at least this is one of the least problematic ones.

gameforge only care's about making a quick buck they've made the game extremely p2w in all areas of the game from dungeons enchanting your gear to even QoL stuff in the store it was a mistake to hand over NA to gameforge were they only want to milk NA players dry of cash with nothing to show for it even with the new patch it's extremely p2w with very little in dungeons to do most of the dungeons they have now are the hard mode dungeon and the one's that isn't hard mode actually hit harder this is absolutely ridiculous. Bluehole if you're listening, please self-publish your own game every time you get a publisher we the players get screwed

1) The phone support redirect you in all 3 options when you call the support phone number.

2) I have had an experience with dual account abuse by some of the Top 1 alliance players.
The only thing they did was a warning.

3) Also a fleet crash from this duo account to boost other people are against the rules. Again 1 warning only.

4) They are not friendly as Apple, Google or bigger tech companies..

Due to the result from the Ogame support i wanted to withdraw/cancel my recently bought Dark Matter.
Compared to EU law I dont have a right to that because it is a digital product.

Other bigger companies to maintain happy customers.

5) Long respond time from Ogame support in general.
They dont do anything except you pay ton's of money.

I played once with 1 guy who... payed a lot money. On a new started server he did what he wanted each day. 1 day instant 1 million points in the early stage of a game.

He get excelent fast support??

They should be called Scamforge. Most predatory monetisation u can imagine. "f2p" games that require tons of money to even progress into an actual campaign. Bullcrap to say at least. Avoid at all cost,

Ich muss sagen das ich noch nie so einen Müll gespielt habe, ich dachte bis vor ein paar Monaten noch dass X-17 oder solche Spiele schlecht seien aber dieses Spiel ist ca. so spannend wie ein ausgeschalteter Ventilator und von den "guten" Updates will ich garnicht reden, aber hauptsache Itemshop regelmäßig Updaten. Bitte löscht dieses Spiel oder ein anderer Tipp löscht alle Spiele und programmiert mal über 2 Jahre hinweg ein gutes Spiel anstatt eure Konzentration auf 10 Spiele gleichzeitig zu schalten! Ich habe nach 1-2 Stunden Spielzeit Kopfschmerzen gehabt und wollte Fortnite spielen. Ich denke es gibt schlechtere Spiele aber nicht mit soviel Arbeit drin, bitte spielt lieber Fortnite! Und ich geh jetzt Minecraft spielen oder so.

Awful customer support. This company doesn't give a crap about it's community and I am certain this place will become a graveyard for any games that are moved here.

Dreister, ignoranter und inkompetenter „Support“. Dass es dieses Unternehmen überhaupt noch gibt, ist mir ein Rätsel.
Eigene Fehler werden dem zahlenden Kunden in die Schuhe geschoben. Einfach der Wahnsinn.

absoluter Saftladen. Spieler und ihre meinungen haben dort keinerlei Wert. Nur volle Geldbeutel werden gerne gesehen.

Schlechte spiel metin2 support 0000 ahnung sehr langsam mann kann nicht mal mit karte zahlen doch ja aber kriegt man dann später zahlungsperre wieso immer

Wenn von einem der zahllosen Bugs etc. wird dem Spieler vom Support versucht die Schuld zuzuschieben u.a. durch Lügen (Externe Programme benutzt, Proxy´s etc.) welche unhaltbar sind. Hier wird Kundenverarsche im großen Stil betrieben. Ein Fall für die Behörden nach meiner Meinung.

A star it's too much t be honest. After a long time playing one of theire game, metin2 i had the badest experience when i receid the red bar( the game its unavailable for you please contact support) after waiting a week the answer i received was that i had connections with a bot software 2 months ago which its 100% not true! After alot of money invested in the game they banned my accounts without a reason they invented it, they have a very serious problem with the anti cheat software which actually bans the fair player not the hackers, we are 1000s banned by their broken system.

The GameForge is the worst gaming platform i ever meet, you cand spent 10 20k euro and they don't give a s..., you can get ban automatically from system and they don't investigate, they just saying you use illegal soft or hack. The system is wrong, the support is crap, ridicoulus they just try to scam you. Stay away from this company, scaming scaming, scaming. Each support team from all countries are a deasaster, this people are sick.

I only give them 1 star because i can't give any.
I play the game Metin2, published by GameForge, the game itself, to me, is the best mmo. This game is being swamed by bots that destroy the game economy and are always pushing the playes aside. The team, what it does to help? If you guesses litle to nothing you guessed right. We can report bots by support, wich takes a couple of days to get aswered, or we can report them by Discord, wich takes a litle bit less, but still a long time. But at the end of the day, the game team are, most of them, voluteers who do all the work while the company is filling their pockets. The item shop is a cash grab, basicaly a pay to win game. Game full of errors, it can take a few clients of the game just to succefully login once.

The game(Metin2) is full of hackers, is full of gambling and the staffs from each country is worthless. And the game problems, they solve one and another(s) come after. They don't bann the hackers, map1 and map2 is full of them, big maps too. They don't invest in game, just in them pays. They destroyed Metin2! And I was to forget, the drop for items. That drop is under 15%, I can bet on it. When you use site glove you don't have a decent drop, you need game glove too. But if you are low level, how can you beat big metin stones to get that glove? Why the drop is not the same like in 2009-2012? Surely was kind of 30%, without gloves. That low drop make players to give up, or make another players to use hack. You think about it? Sure, you don't. You make game easy with heroes swords, but players don't play this for your level chests, they play it for fun, they want a decent drop from lv 1 to all levels(sure, with bigger drop with site or/and game thief glove), so try to understand it!

MALIIIISIMO. Pero vamos que contestan en dias, y si has pagado se la suda. Nada. Si soys nuevos ni lo penseis, buscad otro servidor de juegos. FATAAAAL. No podréis entrar os contestarán a los días (una semana lo menos), no devuelven nada si ha salido algo mal en el juego, cuando sea la ocasión dorada de compra desaparece todo lo que se busca en compras, lo quitan, con lo que lo que habías esperado si querías invertir naaada. Horrendo!! Lo dicho, si no habéis empezado a jugar no lo hagáis en este sistema.
