Sometimes the vest will not turn on; I have to unplug the battery , and plug it back in to start up the heat.

If you don't use it after 12 hours, the over-discharge protection will be automatically activated. Press the battery switch or unplug the battery and plug it back in before next time to use it again.

Has Been Serviceable and Comfortable
I have been very pleased with this coat.
It heats up quickly, holds heat and has kept me very comfortable.
The battery works flawlessly, but make sure to charge it each evening. Just because you don't use the battery doesn't mean it's charged. (Mistaken assumption on my part.)
The roll up hood is a very convenient feature and does successfully keep the hood out of the way.
I have not attempted putting the coat through the washer so I can't give any feedback on that count. I also have not tested how long the battery lasts.
But as far as the coat goes, it is reliable, comfortable, and gives all the benefits of a warm coat without feeling bulky! I love it!
The only thing, and literally the only, slight fault I can find is that the battery does weigh the coat down a bit so that if it's not up zipped it can feel a little weird. But seeing as most probably wouldn't be wearing this jacket un-zipped and that is a peculiar habit of mine, it's not even a true fault.
I am very happy with my purchase and my sister loves the coat too and is already getting one of her own.

Everything went well, fast shipment, great quality product. Didn’t get to use it in the environment yet. But I believe all will go well.
The reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating, sorry for being Pettie, but prior to order I asked for an extra American Flag so I would have one for both arm. They promised and it indicated in order I was getting second patch and when I got it it wasn’t an American Flag patch it was a Dewbu patch. I did email to no avail.

love my jacket
1st I love my jacket I've been telling other folks about my heated jacket I have to stand outside for about an hour in the hudson valley ny mornings I generally were a short sleeve t-shirt and a polyester type work shirt also short sleeves and even on the colder mornings I was fine sometimes I did have to reset the jacket to the higher temp but still it worked
