I ordered a few items from B&Q online about a month ago — a full 9mm drywall panel, a drywall saw, a box of drywall screws, and a Keter outdoor storage box. Everything was absolutely perfect. When I arrived to collect my order, all of it was already prepared and waiting on a trolley, which made things incredibly convenient. Checkout was quick and easy, and the staff were genuinely helpful. A smooth, hassle‑free experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience, we bought… we try to buy garden furniture, came defective, waited for 5 days, going to the shop everyday da to get it replaced, told we need to be fast so they don’t sell the ones on same model that they are receiving, the delivery with this furniture never arrived, so we just decided to get a refund, that was in the 7th of April, no refund received yet.
And I’m almost sure that when we gave back the defective furniture they put in back on sale as in few hours there was one available in the website.
I sent a request about my refund this morning, no answer yet.

The clowns strike again. Turn up to collect my click and collect order at Athlone. Had called ahead to make sure this was available. Arrived. Oh we don't stock those..... Then you get onto customer service in south Africa. My lord they are bad. Just avoid b and q and shop local

So was returning an online purchase - my hands were full with other items i was going to buy and i had a small child with me
i went to the desk by the registers and they called someone in the ear piece to do the online refund- this person must have refused and so they sent me to the person at the very back of the shop with my hands full ( 3 employees were there doing nothing )
) i had to i interrupt their conversation to do my refund and - then was told i had to go back up and queue to purchase the other items
i was carrying a large 4 drawer unit - so went back up and had to again interrupt employees talking to get my items purchased. It so frustrating as a customer to see employees just lounging around - standing by tills but not doing anything
also a quick thought from someone would of said leave your purchases here as u will have to come up again to us maybe a single thought ? or a let me help you with those - two grown men watching me struggle

Repeated Errors, Inaccurate Stock, and Zero Follow-up on Refund
I have had a ridiculous and frustrating experience trying to obtain EcoFuel Oak logs (Order # 1061600038) from the Liffey Valley store and B&Q's online delivery service.
First, I wasted considerable time driving to the Liffey Valley store twice because B&Q's website incorrectly stated the Oak logs were in stock. On both occasions, only briquettes were available, and staff members were unable to help.
Consequently, I placed an online order for delivery. The first delivery on March 31st was the wrong product (briquettes instead of logs), which I returned. The rescheduled delivery arrived very early in the morning on April 3rd, at 7:20, but it was still the wrong product (briquettes again). Adding insult to injury, the driver did not ring the doorbell and left the products on the doorstep in the rain.
I requested a full refund on April 3rd. On April 6th, I received an apology and was told a return request was raised with the Liffey Valley store, and I could expect contact within 48–72 hours. However, I received no response from the store. As of April 16th—ten days after the promise—I still have no contact and no refund.
I have wasted considerable time and money trying to obtain a product that B&Q claims to stock but has been unable to provide. The lack of resolution or follow-up is unacceptable.
Delivery is shocking bad
Delivery is shocking bad, will 💯 never order anything for delivery again.. ordered a triple ladder 3 weeks ago and still waiting. And this is a company trying to attract trade customers. They won't be getting me back.

Story...!we bought outdoor coffee set,it came,but 1 cushion was missing,3 weeks i was trying to sort this issue,but ...no answer!all the time i was texting,no answer,just automatic email!i called them-they said sorry,we will sort that problem and again nothing,no answer!again im writing emails-no answer,just automatic email!

Agressive rude staff
Awful store(Mahon, Cork), staff treat customers like dirt, I witnessed a garden centre staff member agressively verbally abuse and talk down to an elderly man today just because he had to go for bar codes for items on the man's trolly. He came back without all the barcodes and had to go off again. The poor man was waiting for about 40 minutes to purchase his items and in the end had to leave without them. Its not that man's fault that B&Q don't have barcodes on their products. The man was parked in a disabled parking space, perhaps he wasn't able to wait due to ill health. The elderly man graciously thanked the girl at the till for her help before he left the store without his purchases. I myself had a similar experience a few weeks ago and I know that other people have also had a poor experience at this store.
I'll personally never shop there again!!
Every single time I order a click and…
Every single time I order a click and collect item and it tells me its ready, I show up and after 10 - 20 minutes someone shows up with it on a trolley. Once or twice I had to help staff find the item in the store. When I get a message telling me its ready for click and collect that means it is meant to be there. B&Q Liffey Valley is an atrocious store to shop at.
