I've been renting through private landlords for a while, so renting through a letting agent seemed a more daunting bureaucratic task for me. This was not helped by Goodlord, a service created to streamline the process, yet which doesn't understand that humans aren't computers and we don't speak the same language if and when something goes wrong. However, this negative experience with Goodlord was entirely outweighed by DJ Alexander's Aberdeen letting team - Leigh especially has helped me and my co-tenant out so much that it would have been impossible to do it without her guidance through the process. Everything about letting through DJ Alexander was a five-star experience, especially the personal assistance, but I did not enjoy the Goodlord process at all, which left me feeling frustrated more often than I can remember. If you can put up with the AI-driven "optimisation" of a service that was serving perfectly functionally beforehand, then I'd definitely recommend DJ Alexander.

Damir Maratov (Property Relationship Manager) is the most helpful staff member I’ve ever dealt with at DJ Alexander. Whenever tenants raise different issues, he proactively contacts different contractors, compares quotations, and provides me with professional advice. Every problem has always been resolved smoothly and efficiently. I truly appreciate all the support and help Damir has provided.

Connor was incredibly helpful, professional, and responsive throughout the whole process. He made everything feel very straightforward and was always quick to answer questions and provide updates. Although I ultimately went with another property, I really appreciated all his help and would definitely recommend working with him.

As a landlord we had an issue with our flat with a contractor and Hope Smith was helping us deal with the problem. She was responsive, polite and went out of her way to deal with it. In fact, she used her own time to do this.
Hope is an asset to your company!!

I dealt with Ailsa in the Inverurie office and I have only good things to say about her and her professionalism. Happy to help with queries and quick to assist the tenants where possible. I'd recommend them to others.

Abby was an absolute angel. Went to wrong office to collect property keys and she went out of her way to give me a lift to the other dj alexander office the other side of town. 5 star service.

The handover was handled by Kelsey, in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. making our move flawless and straightforward. Our thanks also go to David and Laura. They are all real assets to DJ Alexander.

Connor came to do my mid year inspection and was great! Super polite and friendly and super approachable. Was able to answer questions and help me with a couple queries. Was very prompt as well!

I had an issue with a heat alarm in my flat. It kept beeping and I didn't know know what to do to make it stop. I phoned DJ Alexander and was put through to Lizzie Mackenzie, Property Relationship Manager. She advised me on the procedure for changing the battery by switching off the power at the mains and removing the device from the ceiling. It was very easy to accomplish and I was able put it back no bother. Problem solved.

Really well set up team with regards to letting out my flat for me. Always good communication, friendly and professional staff. Niamh was particularly helpful in ensuring a fast and smooth transition for me between old and new tenants.

Connor Quinn provided a very prompt and efficient inspection service with a follow-up email, which was much appreciated.

We have just moved in to a new tenancy with DJ Alexander and found all the staff we have been in contact with to be very helpful. Any issues or queries were dealt with promptly.
Special mention to property manager Sana who took us through the check in process and accommodated an additional visit to the property before our move in date, so that we could take measurements for our furniture.

The agent, Sana, who facilitated my viewing and with whom I corresponded as I waited the outcome of my application, was stellar. She was very helpful, communicative, and provided very supportive insight to assist how I applied, given that my partner is moving internationally. Overall, very responsive and helpful staff.

Leandra from the sales team has been absolutely amazing at helping me get a foot on the property ladder. I am completely new to this process, and these are my first steps. Leandra went above and beyond making me feel super comfortable and explaining how the system works after I saw a potential property on Zoopla. She even put me in touch with a trusted mortgage advisor and once I went to see the property they made a note about them getting in touch with a solicitor to help me out understand the process. Leandra and the team have been so so lovely they have made a process which feel daunting far mor accessible. Even if I don't end up getting a property right away having the knowledge and experience of the process helps massively! Thank you :)

Been with DJ Alexander for two years now, any difficulties have been resolved efficiently. Mhairi Bain, Property Relationship Manager, has recently been very helpful and provided excellent communication in regards to solving any issues with the flat. She has reached out multiple times to ensure the issue has been effectively addressed and has been very kind!
