Fantastic service by this company. Fast and efficient and lovely mannered engineers.
Boiler needed renewed , as well as a radiator thermostat and also a bath plug needing sorted.
Everything handled very well and the job was completed and cleaned up to perfection.
Great price and great service including the updates received from Lynn in the office.

House main drain blocked - contacted insurers who eventually got in touch with WM Donnelly, who in turn contacted their Aberdeenshire agent who turned up promptly (50 mins after call) and made short work of the blockage. Excellent response thanks .

Awful company AVOID AVOID AVOID.
This company were called out through my Swinton home Insurance .My boiler was losing pressure and had a leak of water from the expansion vessel .
Technician (large man with short red hair ) was rude and abrupt with a stinking attitude towards me when all I asked him was "where all the water had went from the leak as topping it up 3 times a day " , put his hands on his hips and a big huff puff and couldn't answer me !! had an apprentice with him and I could hear the way he was speaking to him from my kitchen and it was awful , poor guy, felt so sorry for him.
Spent an hour looking at boiler to tell me I needed a new Vessel and he couldn't fix the leak . Smirked when telling me I couldn't use my hot water till it was fixed .
Sat in my drive in his van for half and hour filling his forms.
I phoned the company 3 days later as no contact from them to hear that they now refuse to fix my boiler as I was "very aggressive and accusing " and to go back to my insurance to sort it out . I have to laugh , only asked where the all the water had went too!
I paid for a second opinion on my boiler from a separate local company and the technician confirmed that the pipe into the Vessel had been badly bent and he managed to seal the leak to allow us to use the hot water till new Vessel arrived (was fitted next day along with new pipework that I believe the big guy from before had done trying to force a new bolt on , no wonder he didn't want to come back!
I have had dealings with this company years ago on my last boiler and ended up having to get a new boiler through my insurance as they couldn't fix that one correctly either .

Really great service from a range of engineers, covering plumbing and boiler installation.

Engineer came to service boiler on a service contract. Refused to carry out the service due to incorrectly measuring flue. BUT still notified service company that service has been carried out.
Dishonest at best.

Had a leak from our cold water tank, discovered on a Sunday when we got up. Phoned the house insurance contact for emergencies. They arranged an emergency plumber company, WM Donnelly, who came out at midday. The leak was stopped by the plumber by turning off the water supply to our cold water tank. He said he was unable to fix the original problem but it should be sorted on the Monday or Tuesday.

However, this did not happen. Unfortunately, by turning off the supply to the cold water tank, resulted in no hot water either as the hot water tank was fed from the cold water tank. Both tanks were empty by the Monday evening.

We kept phoning the house insurance contact for a day when the plumber would be returning but could not get a definitive answer. However, after a long conversation on the Thursday morning we were informed the plumber would turn up the next day. Although later we were informed the plumber could come out on the Thursday afternoon. Ross, a different plumber from before, was very professional and sorted the problem very quickly.

But, I have docked a star as communication between the insurance contact, the plumber and ourselves could have been better.

It would not have been so bad if the plumber who arrived on the Sunday had not mentioned someone would return the Monday or Tuesday. I don't think that was feasible, as it turned out, the process required the plumbing company to source parts and get permission from the insurance contact to complete the job under the insurance policy.

However, the job was eventually completed satisfactory so I feel 4 stars are justified. It just needs communication between all parties to be improved.

Company have no proper diagnostics skills/experience you would expect from the competent engineer. 9 different engineers visited my property replacing approximately 6 or 7 parts to my boiler. All of those were incorrect parts fitted. Degrogatory comments from the receptionist to the engineer when he was on loud speaker about me. That I was an f-ing nightmare. In short there is no proper customer service or competent workmanship from this company.

Boiler Service - Graeme was friendly and efficient and explained what he was doing. Highly recommend.

Experienced an issue with my ATAG boiler and contacted them direct as the fault was covered under the warranty. A short time later a pleasant member of staff from Wm Donnelly phoned to arrange an appointment the following day.
Graham contacted me on the day to confirm a time and arrived 20 minutes later. He was very polite and courteous, yet approachable and very knowledgeable. Within half an hour or less he replaced a couple of faulty parts and left. No hassle and no mess left behind. Excellent engineer from a reliable company.

Graham and Chris came for a scheduled boiler service. Graham called me 30 minutes before arrival. I was a little late getting home but they waited patiently. They were both courteous and professional and finished the job promptly.

Had Graham and Chris out in Kirkintilloch today. They done a great job fixing my mother in laws boiler. My Border Collie loved having them around. A good couple of guys. Many thanks for your help 🐕

Totally positive experience. Graham came to service the boiler initially and found it beyond economic repair. Excellent advice given and great price for new boiler meant that I was able to give the go ahead for the new boiler promptly. Graham returned with Brendon to complete the install and did a lovely tidy job with good explanation at every stage. Also, special thanks to Lynn in the office for her timeous and efficient help. Seems a great company to deal with.
