Today we visited Doorway to Value in Whittle-le-Woods to choose our new Chesterfield suite, and we were lucky enough to have Peter help us.

From the moment we arrived the staff downstairs were very helpful in showing us upstairs to the department where Peter was incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. His product knowledge was fantastic, and he took the time to explain all the different options without ever making us feel pressured or rushed. He really listened to what we wanted and offered great advice, and was patient as we had our little dog with us which I might add was welcomed in just as much as us! This made choosing our suite so much easier.

Peter’s helpfulness, patience and genuine enthusiasm for what he does really stood out. He made the whole experience enjoyable and gave us complete confidence in our choice.

We’re absolutely delighted with our choice of Chesterfield suite and would highly recommend Peter and Doorway to Value to anyone looking for great quality, excellent service and someone who genuinely cares about helping you find the right furniture.

We visited the store a couple of weeks ago and purchased a suite. We were looked after by a lovely man called Dave Thomson, he was very attentive without being over bearing, after giving us advise he left us alone for a while to discuss what we wanted ourselves. He was very knowledgeable about the products we were looking at. We bought the after sales package, which in 46 years of owning a house we have never bought on anything before, but his knowledge of the products and his general demeanour made us trust him. We will definitely be back in the future.

David Thomson gave us calm considered advice. At no stage were we subjected to salesmanship. I would certainly recommend David and Doorway to Value.

Brilliant experience. Ian is very professional and also very knowledgeable about the products. He explains the specifics of similar products and gives you all the information you need to make the best choice.

We’ve recently purchased a sofa and two chairs from here and would like to say what a fantastic , comfortable and professional experience we had .
Dawn Grice was so attentive and professional, the whole experience was so relaxed with no pushing to buy anything . You don’t get service like this these day or it’s very rare

Would highly recommend. Bought a new bed from here last week and had great help from Ian. We visited with our baby so were tight on time and Ian made it very easy for us as he quickly identified what we needed and make the perfect recommendation. Also generally can't stress enough how much I love that whenever I've been here the staff generally don't constantly pester you. So many furniture shops are off putting these days as you get the hard sell as soon as you walk in the door but there is a much more chill atmosphere in this store.

Dawn and John attended to us on our visit to store and both were super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We placed an order with each of them and received great service, fab prices and we are made up with our coffee table and dining table/chairs set. Thank you!

Looking for new sofas found a large selection of styles and sizes with a good selection of available fabrics and finishes. Were attended to by Jason who was very helpful. Never felt under any pressure to buy but just given plenty of useful advice.

Great selection of quality furniture. Steven Corns assisted us in purchasing a corner sofa. Very helpful and genuine service. Would not hesitate to return to this store

Kelly at the Chorley branch went out of her way to be helpful, listened to our requirements and patiently showed us all the options. A much better service than other stores we visited.

We visited the store last week and purchased 2 Sofas. We have used DTW on numerous occasions for their quality, price and no pressure sales.
Steven Corns took care of us from start to finish, his knowledge, friendliness and attention to detail was superb. Look our for Steven on your visit you will not be dissapointed.

What a wonderful store with staff to match. Steve was so helpful to us ensuring we saw exactly what we wanted to see and buy without being hurried into it. I think the service was second to none and would recommend 100%. I most certainly will be using Doorway To Value again in the future

The store has a wide variety of choice of furniture, which all appears to be very good quality and different price ranges, well worth a visit.
All the staff were very personable and left us to wander around without any intervention or pressure but were on hand to offer advice when needed.
We went on two different occasions and Dawn Grice and a lovely gentleman called John helped us with our order and choices.
They were both very efficient and a pleasure to deal with.
Will definitely be back.

Called in at the Chorley branch, to have a browse.
Great selection on setees.
Staff were very friendly, not pushy.
We picked a comfy pair of setees we both liked and then asked for some advice.
Ian Parr came to our assistance and was very hepful, friendly and patient,He told us to take our time, making our decision, which we did.
We came back tbe next day, met with Ian again an placed our order.
