Fantastic product that I can’t resist! But had a few orders now with substitutions, so not quite excellent!

Amazing desert's so happy with it all definitely ordering again.

All the cookie pies in ordered where nice and even when they did not have one they removed the cost and gave me a free slice on my next order. I also love that they even sell the damaged/ cut off parts on cheap to not waist food.

It started so well…

Ordered here numerous times, both on TikTok and directly and had great experiences up until now. All prior orders were delivered within 2 days and their products have been really tasty and of a really great quality.

However, Halloween has been a terrible experience. After weeks of promotion on TikTok, guaranteeing delivery by Halloween if you order by 11am Wednesday 28th October, it’s clear they’ve oversold and have struggled to meet demands.

I ordered on TikTok because somehow it worked out cheaper than going direct, even with £10 worth of loyalty points. I
ordered on Tuesday 27th October, well before the cut off time for Halloween delivery, and it was confirmed that the order would be delivered within 3 working days with Friday 30th October being quoted as the latest date.

It is now Friday 30th October and my order hasn’t even been packed, let alone dispatched and handed to Royal Mail. When I contacted them, I received a lacklustre response at 10am this morning stating that my order was with the picking team and that it would be dispatched shortly and they confirmed they would update me once it had been packed. I’ve received no further update and it’s now nearly 6pm, the shop is now offline and my order is still stuck on ‘placed’ with no sign of any progress. I think it’s safe to say it will not be received by Halloween as advertised.

3 days and my order hasn’t even been put together, let alone dispatched. And the company hasn’t posted anything to confirm they are running behind and to apologise. In fact, they’re still taking orders. Seriously considering cancelling at this point. Was also planning to order around Christmas time but if this is how Halloween has been handled, I don’t think I’ll be chancing it.

Really, really disappointed.

I’ve cancelled my order and won’t be ordering from this company again.

Really happy with the products.
Made an order in August and they came really quickly. We ordered a couple of rocky road’s and cookie pies. My husband really enjoyed them, they were a bit too sweet for me but I think that’s entirely down to the flavours I chose.
Ordered him some more for his birthday, placed an order on 5th Oct and chose my delivery date to be 27th Oct, came absolutely no problem. Had some of the Biscoff rocky road this evening and it was probably the nicest thing I’ve ever eaten so I’ll definitely be re ordering a couple of those. They make excellent gifts too, every time I show someone a photo of the things we’ve tried the response is always the same that they want to try. So I think they’ll make good little stocking fillers for a Christmas treat😍

I sent my daughter some cookies for her birthday. She had just started University so was learning to cook. The cookies arrived and she was so excited, they were fresh and delicious. She could not eat them all so the great thing is you can freeze them and have a treat another day.

I enjoyed this purchase, the packaging was great and carefully selected. The taste was amazing, thanks!

Second time ordering - first order extremely late. Second time, not dispatched by delivery date - asked for refund. Email I received had no apology, no reference at all to complaint - just happy to refund. Clearly no care towards customer service. Shame as their product was good, but their shoddy service will let them down.

Spend your money with a company who cares, theirs plenty smaller bakers who will appreciate your order and choice to spend with them.

Well, what a wonderful experience, having the Dough Girl has been. They are absolutely delicious. But I can not eat a whole slice.
Well that's rather an incorrect statement!! I can eat a whole slice, just not in one sitting!! 😂
They are the best that I have tried. I'm new to the Dough Girl. So, I'm slowly, slowly, going through all the flavours of the Cookie Pies. Yummy they are too, most of them.
Although I was quite disappointed in a few of my recent 12 Cookie Pies.
The Brownie Cookie Pie, had a nice piece of brownie on top. But, on the inside, it only had a tiny piece of brownie. The sauce that is to die for, was a teeny amount. I purchased 2 of those as I'd enjoyed it in my first batch. So that to me was a massive let down.
The Custard Cream Pie, was my first time to try it. As I adore Custard creams. But, these were a big let down in my opinion..... The biscuit on top was soft & mushy. The inside was filled with lots of biscuits, so I could barely taste the lovely pie filling.
The Jammie one, was also soft & mushy too, sadly. Again too little pie filling, due to the amount of biscuits. The lack of filling in the CP's, make these a very expensive treat, when there's not much filling. It'd be cheaper to buy several packets of biscuits & still have change left over.
Both times, that I've purchase from The Dough Girl. I've found several of the buttercreams, under mixed & not enough icing sugar. As when you taste it on its own, all you can taste is the butter/margarine. To say that they're meant to be freshly baked to order. The buttercream has dried out all over.
Then comes...... The Snickers Cookie Pie. 😳 It was absolutely delicious. I'd hummed & arched about it in my first lot. Then, this time too.. But, 8 wish that I'd gone with it first time around. Then I could have ordered more. If you like toffee sauce & peanuts, then you definitely won't be disappointed. I was very disappointed when it was finished. I ate it over 2 sittings. So far, imo, it is the best one. Don't stop making this one please, Emma, I'd be devastated. 😂❤️‍🩹

Good quality reasonable prices if you want them delivered on specific date get them delivered day before mine arrived after date requested one if ghe cakes was smashed in the box

We have had a few boxes of cookie pie slices, my goodness they are all amazing.
They are not filled with biscuits in the middle like other places make.
Love being able to choose which ones we can order in a box of 12.
Packaged individually and presented perfectly.
Arrives quickly and with no damage.
Honestly brilliant service and delicious!
