Ordered Sunday and delivered Tuesday. I ordered a selection of cookie pie slices, deluxe cookies, brownies and a blondie from Dough Girls, including White Twix, Cherry Bakewell, Banoffee, Red Velvet, Cookies ’n Cream, Biscoff, Mars Bar, Jammie Dodger, Milky Way and Kinder Bueno White flavours.

Some of the cookie pie slices were quite sweet to eat in one sitting, particularly the Limited Edition Cherry Bakewell, but cutting them in half made them much more manageable and just the right amount for a treat!

My least favourite was the Banoffee Cookie Pie Slice, but my standouts were the Red Velvet Cookie Pie Slice, Cookies ’n Cream Cookie Pie Slice and Biscoff Cookie Pie Slice. These were my personal favourites, and I'd happily order them again!

Delivery was very quick and arrived well packaged with clear storage and dates to use by.

Reviewing this based on the best of the product I received. The cookies are fantastic, and could only be better by changing things to my personal taste (more gooey). They taste amazing, they soften to the point it melts in your mouth after 15-30 seconds in the microwave, and are very much large enough that a single one will do for 2 portions for me. 9/10 Will be buying again.

The cookie pies however are not to my liking. They taste fine, if you are ok with the solid chocolate filling being most of what you eat. I see a fair few negative reviews based on this and I do agree, but some people might love it. Personally I would halve the filling and double the cookie quantity.

The packaging is fine, a branded box with some packing peanuts, inside another similar box. Didn't have anything break apart but don't particularly mind if it does either. Kind of at the mercy of royal mail with the handling.

Doughgirl delivered on time and all in perfect condition. Was a birthday gift and recipient was over the moon. Will definitely use your services again

I’d like to start by giving DoughGirl a 5/5 for taste! We genuinely couldn’t fault the pies, and my son was absolutely delighted. The flavour was incredible, which makes the rest of the experience all the more disappointing.

Unfortunately, the packaging was a let down. A handful of packing peanuts simply wasn’t enough protection for six slices of pie, and two arrived cracked. The gift note was also literally a tiny sticker inside the lid of the box. I would much rather have the option to pay a little extra for a proper gift card with a personalised message.

However, the main reason for my one star rating is the customer service, or lack of it.

I emailed straight away after delivery to mention that two of the pies had arrived cracked. To be clear, my email was simply to share a few things that could be improved. I wasn’t asking for a refund or expecting any particular resolution. In fact, my email included plenty of praise for the pies themselves!

I didn’t see a response in my inbox and, admittedly, I forgot all about it because the pies tasted amazing and my son was so happy with them. Last week, someone liked a comment I had made on Facebook, which reminded me of the experience, so I got back in touch to check whether my original email had been received.

It turned out Dough Girl had replied on the same day, but her email had gone into my junk folder. Absolutely fine, and that was my fault.

The reason I am still giving one star, though, is the tone of the response itself. I found it generic and insincere, with the main focus being on the 30 day policy rather than acknowledging the feedback I had taken the time to share. My original email was full of praise, alongside a few suggestions for improvement, so I really didn't understand why the response felt so defensive and impersonal.

I completely appreciate that businesses have policies to follow, but good customer service is about more than simply quoting policies. It is about making customers feel heard and valued, particularly when they have taken the time to share constructive feedback alongside positive comments.

It is such a shame because the product itself is genuinely fantastic. However, as good as the pies are, customer service matters to me just as much. I find it difficult to get behind businesses when the customer experience falls short, regardless of how good their products are.

Absolutely spot on, from start finish ( with a struggle) easy order, easy to pick suitable delivery date which arrived on time, they are huge and delicious will definitely be ordering again an again an again

Quick delivery & amazing cakes. Think they’re pretty good value too. Only downside was some toppings came off in transit & some didn’t have toppings at all. Still enjoyed them & will definitely order again.
