Had engine management lights on and dpf filter light on had a man called Rob who came out to see me the next day and managed to clean filter and remove light that I had taken my car to previous garage and couldn’t even remove engine management lights off due to codes that main dealership had put on but Rob sorted it out for me and was honest about the situation top man I would definitely recommend this company

The fault came back after 1 hour
They offered to clean the DPF of the car but charged me £200 for removal and refitting the DPF .They also said I could send them the DPF.When they came to clean it
nothing came out apart from bubbles.
A very detailed reply pointing out the service i picked has no warrenty.
It lasted a hour .This is a company that does lots of advertising on you tube but does not work
Collect £299 and go .

This company has terrible customer service. I contacted them because I was getting an intermittent DPF warning light. DPF Specialists claimed they would come out, carry out a diagnosis, and advise on the fix. They did come out, performed a diagnosis, and immediately insisted the pressure sensor needed replacing—even though it had already been replaced just a few days earlier and wasn’t causing any issues. The engineer pushed hard for this replacement and said that a DPF clean would resolve the problem.

Five days later, the DPF warning light came back, and the car behaved exactly the same as before. I’m now almost £500 out of pocket and in the exact same position as before calling DPF Specialists—who, by the way, also operate under the name Auto Assist Group.

When I contacted them again to report the ongoing issue, they showed no interest whatsoever and simply sent me a claims form. After I completed and returned it, they then tried to sell me a diagnostic scanner so I could provide them with a fault code. Yes, I was shocked too. They then claimed they couldn’t proceed with the warranty without this information.

Considering they charge £179 for diagnostics, why wasn’t this offered in the first place? It’s clear they are more focused on taking money than helping customers. The engineer advised me to replace the sensor and have the DPF cleaned to resolve the issue, and I followed that advice. Now DPF Specialists/Auto Assist Group are refusing to take responsibility.

Avoid this company and use real professionals—these people are clearly not. You have been warned.

Alex was again super! Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble!! Highly recommend, fantastic service. Customer service was very easy to call and quick to respond to queries. Kept us updated throughout the process, I think it was Kam that we spoke to.

I have a red warning light come on in a Range Rover sport which was effecting power and put the vehicle into a limp mode like state. I spoke with Jodie who was just fantastic and helpful and immediately sorted a booking for the next day. Fast forward to pre arranged 8am appointment the next day and Alex arrived, who was great. Very knowledgable and sorted everything in a couple of hours. Could not ask for anything better from this company. They have a repeat customer forever in me and could not recommend them more.

Was kept well informed and communicated through the process of the DPF Clean and diagnostic findings. Further work carried out from the diagnostic outcome, was quoted and booked in at a convenient time and carried out by a competent Engineer who was polite friendly and talked me through the complete process. Would like to make a shout out to Jodie who kept me informed at all stages including quote and booking the follow up appointment. And a shout out to Lewis the Engineer who was polite knowledgeable and a professional.

You came out to clean DPF on my van within two weeks, but I am still experiencing the same issue now; the lights are still showing on my dashboard. My van did not need cleaning; it's my injectors that need changing. This company is a rip-off. I will avoid this company next time, just took my £580 for a job that is not done, or I should have been advised by your machine, which he did not, he was on the phone to his girl all that time while carrying out the job.

The young man came to the door promptly on time done an excellent job always advising each stage full of knowledge and experience also state how long it would takes take advised about the test issues and I could not ask for a better person on the job super polite but full of quality advice kind regards b cornforth

Having taken my Hyundai Tucson to the Main Dealer several times and with no success, it is refreshing that DPF Specialist Technician used his experience and knowledge to fix the issue and not just looking at the warning light displayed on the car dashboard, as this warning light was only part of the issue

Craig came out and diagnosed the fault in my van, was extremely professional and polite. Did a regen on my dpf as requested. Would 100% recommend and use again if this experience was anything to go by

Making the appointment was very easy, not difficult at all & the all important cost was easy to understand too.
On the day the appointment was kept on time, the prep work for the dpf clean was all done carefully. Diagnosis done after clearly showed it had been successful and the test drive after proved it was was worth it.
I've already recommend them to people I know who have had difficult experiences from so called reputable specialists garages - definitely will use them again

Technician was friendly and helpful with information and how to prevent further issues with the car. They were very mindful of the safety implications with the procedure performed and made sure my children stayed well away from the rear of the car due to the heat and muck kicking out of the exhaust. Will definitely use again for future issues.

I mean what's the point in not replying to enquiry emails.
