I am sorry to read your review. On calling on our company you were quoted the rate for high pressure jetting, for which you had requested. We do have two engineers in the vans under The Water Jetting Association guidelines for jetting. You had been given the inclusive cost of the jetting so should have been fully aware of the cost, (I can provide the sound file if required) and the second engineer did not come at a separate charge. The engineers cleared through the drain and found a hidden hole which transpired to be a tank. This tank was full and required emptying. The engineer did explain that the tank would require emptying to restore full flow to the system. The work was completed within an hour, and charged the exact cost you had been quoted. If you follow the engineers' advice and have the tank emptied you will have fully functioning drains again.

When I made my first call I spoke to a lovely lady, she spoke clearly and understood my drain problem. I made an appointment for Saturday, and was told that half an hour before arrival an engineer would contact me which Alick did. When he arrived I felt completely at ease when the job was assessed. The job took half an hour and I was extremely happy with the result. I was talked through my payment, which was the same as the initial conversation. A very positive experience, many thanks

The lack of unprofessionalism is astounding!
My job was cancelled and I was told by email! …late on afternoon on the day it was meant to have happened!
I found these people very unreliable, rude & contradicting each other stories.
Having read the one star reviews I’m so glad it actually worked out this way.I was very upset and disappointed at first as I have had precious time wasted. However… It looks like I’ve had a lucky escape.
Don’t take my word for it guys… Look at their bad reviews. I stupidly just looked at a couple of the good ones but I should’ve looked at the bad ones because a lot of what happened to me has been said in reviews!
Im always baffled how people think it is okay to speak down to someone. it’s bad business guys!
people will definitely go elsewhere! Plenty of companies around!

We did unfortunately have to let you down for your survey, however your review isn't actually accurate.
Being the director of this company I have posted below the email I sent you at 8.40pm last night when I heard what had happened. For anyone reading your review, they will gain a better insight into the reason.
'Good evening Carieanne
I am sorry to read your email and have investigated the matter. Firstly, I would like to apologise most sincerely for the inconvenience and disappointment of the cancelled/re-scheduled appointment.
You were booked for a compliance survey today along with several other jobs for the engineer. Unfortunately, with drains being underground we can only guesstimate schedules of time taken on a job from the information given by the customer. The job which had badly delayed the engineer was explained as a blocked toilet. The job in fact was a collapsed drain, unknown to us before the engineer started work and the customer was an elderly lady who was nursing a husband with dementia who had no working facilities as a result of the damage.
It most certainly was not a case of the job being more important than yours, maybe just that the customer was in greater need.
The office did try and call you as soon as it became apparent that the engineer had to stay on site to get the problem was resolved. You did not answer the call so the member of staff emailed you and contacted the agent who had also been given as a contact.
I do realise the disappointment this has caused especially under the stress that moving can cause. I do dispute the comments regarding a member of my staff. She apologised on many occasions, and not once did she imply that’s the way it works. She apologised repeatedly and tried to make alternative arrangements, having already confirmed an alternative day with the agents.
We do highly recommend with enquiries for surveys that as purchases seem to be currently taking between 8 – 10 weeks, to arrange a survey for as soon as possible in the process to allow for time for the survey to be undertaken and then the 7 – 10 days for the report to be processed and then any negotiations over any works required. This then negates any rush and urgency coming up to exchange.
We did offer an alternative date of Monday, which we would also have provided the report within 24 hours, but you declined the offer. We carry out approximately 200 jobs a week and we try our best to keep every customer happy, although in a service industry this is not always possible. I am sorry that on this occasion we have not achieved this in your case. If I can help further in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me'
I'm not sure that is from a company who does not care.
Your comments to my member of staff when told why we had to postpone your visit was - I don't care why they are having to stay on the previous job, I want them here now. Let's hope that you are never having to nurse a family member with dementia and not have the use of toilets or shower. Our decision to remain on site and help the elderly couple was the right one. Shame on you for your comment.

Delighted with the way Rich and Frank…
Delighted with the way Rich and Frank managed to solve a blockage in the kitchen which was underneath the floor. They used the camera and jetted a huge amount of fat clogging the pipes and left no mess whatsoever. Would certainly recommend and use again

Work competently executed at the agreed time
Initial attempts to clear a blockage from the downpipe from guttering were unsuccessful and it was identified that the water was going to a blocked soakaway and not into the drainage system. It was explained to me very clearly that the only solution was installation of a new soakaway away from the area of the old one under our lawn. A clear description of the work needed was given with a quote. After a couple of hours deliberation with my wife I agreed to the quote and was given a date 4 days on for the work to commence. It was predicted to take one or two days for two men with a mechanical digger. In the end it was completed in one day as no snags slowed up the work. Both engineers were very friendly and polite and did their utmost to reduce any damage to our lawn, though some was inevitable. In conclusion I'm glad we chose Drain Division.
