Phoned mid-morning (?) very quickly given costs and information, had to speak to landlord who gave the go-ahead, job booked, two super-nice, helpful and efficient gentleman sorted the problem. So impressed I phoned company to say thank you and company number now in address book!

Drain Division talked to me about every stage of their investigation which to me was so important
Two friendly professional gentlemen came to sort and solve a drain problem I had. I was told previously that a pipe had a jagged edge. It kept blocking the toilet up due to toilet paper getting caught on the jagged edge. Drain Division put a camera in the pipes to investigate. They found some old broken tiles that was catching the toilet paper. They removed the source and solved my problem. Thank you for all your support

Excellent service from start to finish
Excellent service from start to finish. All staff a credit to the company. Given that I know nothing about drains, they explained different things. The engineer attended first thing the next day and such a nice chap. I was not at the property, but he phoned to advise when he would attend and kept me updated throughout the process and also advised when he had finished. I’ve since been provided with all the information from the report and was even phoned so that I could discuss and go through any queries. The whole process has been made very stress free.

A quick investigation
Engineer attended on the day of the call. He was soon at work, lifting manhole covers and investigating with his power hose and camera. Source of problem not identified but there was no obvious problem causing excess damp underground my property. I will now see if Severn Trent can investigate drains that are further away from my property. Would use Drains Division again if necessary.

They helped us out of an emergency…
They helped us out of an emergency situation. We had a blocked toilet and they came out same day and cleared the problem. Their switchboard was very alert and helpful as were the two operatives who came to fix the problem

A job well done.
Tom, the drainage engineer doing the work, was friendly, efficient and kept me informed through out the process. He explained what the issues were and how they could be resolved. Several drains were blocked but he managed to solve the problem.

Contact was made as soon as the job was placed on Checkatrade. The team arrived within a few hours of speaking with the office. The drain was unblocked, and a camera survey was undertaken. Everything was fully explained as they went along. Will use for a reline of the drain

Do not use this company under any…
Do not use this company under any circumstances. Go for something small and local which will take ownership of your problem.
I had a blocked toilet due to rubble in drains secondary to rats.
It was not made clear to me before they started that would be a second charge for the second engineer ( I was asked to sign the form saying I agreed AFTER the work had already been done) and that I ended up paying for them sitting in a van for 20 minutes doing 'paperwork' before knocking on my door- I kept a note of the time as I knew I was being charged according to the time taken.I was not made aware of NHS 5% discount.
I called the office to query the bill immediately and the time taken as the bill was over £700 and was told that the bill was correct and there was nothing I could do about it.Even the engineers seemed surprised at the high cost as they said to me 'are you sitting down" before telling me how much it was.
After 3 clear days the toilet blocked again . They came out again ( after cancelling a second appointment at 5 pm after Id waited in all day), the toilet worked for 1 week then blocked again.
They are refusing to come out again and accusing me of throwing things down the toilet which obviously I m not doing.
I received a very rude email from acting managing director when I wanted the CEO email details, basically saying they dont guarantee work and they would charge my nearly £250 to put a camera down when the engineers who attended told me there was nothing wrong with my actual drain.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. GO LOCAL or use LOCAL recommendations.

I am somewhat surprised by your review but will put over our side of the story. Your claims are not wholly accurate. I am not 'acting managing director', I am one of the two company directors who responded to you as the other director is off on compassionate leave. We do not have a CEO. I took over the correspondence from my staff as they could not deal with your rude, aggressive and bombastic manner.
My email may have been blunt, but I was somewhat shocked that you were comparing the service to your daily job saying if you treated your patients the same way they would be dead. Very unsavoury comments and totally offensive, I would not have expected from a doctor. With regards to being given the 5% NHS discount, you did not make us aware that you were a doctor, booking the job as Ms Vicky Jolliffe. You only used the title of Dr, in signing off your email in later correspondence.
We were called out to you(15th September) to clear a blocked toilet. You had said there was dirt in the manhole. On inspection there was rubble within the drains, which would not be expected in a normal drain clearance. All of the rubble was removed and it was apparent that the rubble and dirt were entering the system from a redundant run. The drain was cleared through and a bung installed to stop the rubble from entering the drain. The drain was left running clear. The invoice was higher than a normal clearance but as explained to you in my email this was not a normal blockage and it took longer to remove rubble and bung the run.
Three weeks later (3rd October), not 3 days later, you called to state that the toilet was blocking again. We explained that blockages cannot be guaranteed as a drain will only block due to something going in the drain which shouldn't be there or a structural problem, with a drain. As a matter of goodwill we returned free of charge and cleared the drain for you.
Now some three weeks later (27th October) you called again that the drain was blocked. We explained yet again that we could not come out free of charge but would attend to carry out a survey of the drains to see why they should keep blocking after you insisted that you were not putting anything down the toilet that you shouldn't be. We offered to come out on a reduced cost to carry out the survey but explained that if the drain kept blocking and you kept expecting free visits, you were in effect getting a lifetime guarantee. We offer a 10-year guarantee on remedial works which are carried out but not on clearances. You have obviously declined the offer and instead left a review, being rather lenient with the truth. I am confident that every other drainage company will agree that blockages cannot be guaranteed.

Drain Division arranged a visit for the next day. The two engineers that came out were brilliant. They were polite, engaging and explained everything they were going to do. Following the work they showed me live film of inside the pipe which they had unblocked and descaled. First class service - thank you
