I can't talk enough about how positive my experience's have been with Drum Beats Online. The online dashboard is very easy to navigate; the lessons are very user friendly; and just when you say to yourself "when am I going to learn that?" it seriously pops in the next lesson or two. Everything is well thought and seems like it is planned strategically to get you learning to play drums. Thank you Gabe and Team!

DBO is so much more than an online drum academy… it’s where you find encouragement to keep going when you feel you should be so much better at playing the drums by now…it’s a place to be real because you are never judged by how well you play but consistently motivated to keep pushing forward, to receive needed guidance, correction, to always have quality, easy to follow lessons that become a part of your daily practice routine… it provides structure while encouraging creativity, a solid foundation while providing challenges…I have made life long friendships through DBO. If I could describe the basis of what Gabe has developed here in 3 words I would say QUALITY, HUMILITY and LOVE… that might sound strange for a drum academy but who wouldn’t want to be a part of a community that offers those 3 things? I am so grateful to Gabe and Shaya and everyone involved in making DBO amazing!! Love y’all ♥️

Gabe is an incredible teacher his instructions are very easy to follow. His breakdowns of how to do things are world class!! I've learned so much in a month and have become confident behind the kit. Would recommend to anyone. Honestly Gabe is the most thorough instructor I have ever had.

I have been on here for a month and it has helped me I self taught myself for 2 years but this course is really teaching me things I never new

Firstly I'm still learning the English so my expression may be misinterpieted,I'm sorry for it.
The lessons in the DBO are helpful to develop my week hand,and I practice the techniques that Gabe told me in the lessons almost every,I can feel the big progressing on my weak hand.I will keep on practicing,thanks DBO,thanks Gabe.Keep pushing forward!!

I really am happy that i found this sight. The production of the lessons is great, tons of info and lots of instructors. The best for myself as a beginner is that the learning path for a new drummer is laid out in a concise manner. I have found that with many internet learning sights, there is so much information available but it is very easy to get side tracked and overwhelmed so I appreciate the measured, clear presentation. I am making more progress with Drum Beats than I expected.

DBO is teaching me to not be so hard on myself at learning to play drums. I was beating myself up for not having limb independence. I just had to learn to take each thing I practiced slow till I got it came together. Independence is coming to me a little better but I have a long way to go. I do believe DBO is the way to go. Yes rhyme was intentional. Gabe is a great teacher.

DBO Academy has been a fantastic experience for a complete beginner like myself, and I have enjoyed it enough to the point where I upgraded my membership to a lifetime account. I always know what to practice and goals that I should be working towards as everything is laid out in organized paths. Gabe is a great teacher, and I have been able to see so much progress in my drumming skills after 3 months on the site!

61 years old and I never had formal Lessons. The Kids today have such an advantage with a site like this. The approach that you teach is spot on. Love it! If I had something like this as a young child I might have gone into the music business or at least continued playing. I am doing the lessons on the site and can't believe the progress I am experiencing, it's great! I am waking up Technique I haven't been able to do in years. Still have a ways to go but I am very motivated! Thank you for a great experience!

DBO is a well-designed platform and it’s definitely 100% worth it if you are looking to learn/improve on the kit! I have been running with it for a couple of months now and haven’t looked back . If/when you sign up, you take a quick quiz and it will place you into one of five stages from beginner-master. I started on stage 2 and worked up to 3 which I’m now at. Each stage is broken into 6-10 courses each with a handful of lessons. Gabe does an awesome job of covering all aspects of drumming from independence, foot work, rudiments, grooves, fills, and much more. If you are in a rut with your drumming or are not sure what to practice, this is a great option. I will say it does help quite a bit if you’re self-motivated because then you can work through lessons whenever you want. And if you keep on it , the monthly membership is a steal. I think the improvements I’ve seen in the last couple months outweigh the progress I made in the years leading up to it, if that says anything.

Honestly very polite and courteous teacher. Want to share all his knowledge with us in very nice way and completely professional. Teaching maybe more that we need but this is on us how much we want, he gave more than 100% for us and deserve best learners who will proudly represent him! Only advice from me please make an application for phone and tablet, it would be too easier to navigate and using than with browser and website. All the best from me!

I've been VERY short on time lately so not able to stick to a routine and disciplined practice, but that's part of the problem - because of that (so much time in between), I want to go back and spend time repeating lessons but do not seem to be able to navigate back to and retake a lesson I've already "checked"

Love it. Getting placed in the appropriate playing level was very valuable. The teaching videos were challenging but not overwhelming because they were appropriate to my skill level

Really well thought out lessons and progression feels smooth even between courses. The community is full of great people and Gabe and others are happy to help with issues in the comments of the community page.

I love everything so far. 30 day drummer breaks it down so you know what to work on to become more efficient. Gabe explains it in simple terms so it's easy to understand.

Gabe is easily the best drum teacher ever! He genuinely cares about his students progression around the kit which has pushed me to become the drummer I am today. His courses are fun, entertaining, and encourage you to complete lesson after lesson to climb DBO Academy and become a master drummer. The program is at such an affordable price as well. Over my 2 years of being a part of this, I have absolutely zero complaints. Thanks Gabe!

Lots of good things about DBO. If I take the time to play and train, progress is inevitable. Lessons are easy to follow and do not overwhelm. It was a bit confusing trying to navigate the site at first but no longer.
