Don’t Waste your money!!
Please be very careful when using visa agents if you are a Sri Lankan passport holder.
Based on my recent experience, I would strongly recommend doing your own research before paying an agent to apply for a Dubai visa on your behalf.
I travelled to Dubai last year and my visa was approved after I applied through the Emirates website when booking my flight. The process was quite tedious and took some time because I was asked to provide several documents, including evidence of my financial status and other supporting documents, before my visa was finalised.
This time, I decided to use a visa agent because I wanted to avoid going through the lengthy process myself. Unfortunately, my application was rejected, despite the fact that I have UK settlement status and had successfully travelled to Dubai last year.
What concerns me is that agents may not always ask for or submit all the supporting documents that could strengthen an application. You could therefore end up paying for an application that may not have been properly prepared, while still losing your visa fee and agent fee.
My advice: please don’t waste your money without thoroughly checking the agent and understanding exactly what they are submitting on your behalf. If possible, apply directly through an airline that provides visa services, such as Emirates, or through an official/authorised visa channel.
I personally had a much better experience applying through Emirates, even though the process required more documentation and patience.
Do your own research, provide all the relevant supporting documents, and be very cautious about paying third-party agents.

It is important to clarify that DubaiVisas role is to prepare and submit an application through the appropriate UAE visa channel and obtain a decision. No visa agent, airline, or “official/authorised” third-party channel can guarantee a visa approval. The final decision always rests solely with UAE immigration.
UAE visa decisions are based on the applicant’s individual circumstances, nationality, travel and immigration history, and the immigration authority’s own internal assessment. Previous travel to Dubai and UK settlement status do not guarantee a future UAE visa approval. A refusal is not, in itself, evidence that an application was improperly prepared or that documents were omitted by our team.
We process applications using the requirements and documentation requested by the applicable UAE visa channel at the time. Different channels may request different supporting evidence, and immigration may assess applications differently on separate occasions.
We appreciate that a refusal is frustrating, but we strongly reject the suggestion that clients “waste their money” by using our service. Our service is the expertise, administration and support involved in preparing and submitting an application correctly; the visa fee and the authority’s final decision are outside our control.

I applied for my visa at 10pm, by 11am the next day I had a message saying it was being processed. 11am the following day it had been approved. 36hrs total. And I had selected the 5 day service. Great service, looking forward to my trip now

I recently applied for my UAE visa…
I recently applied for my UAE visa through Dubai Visas London and had a very positive experience.
The team was friendly, polite, and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. They answered all of my questions clearly and in detail, which made everything simple and stress-free.
Even though the standard processing time was 2–3 working days, I received my visa the very next day. I was truly impressed by how fast and efficient they were.
