I bought some very nice monogrammed towels a year or two ago which have pleased everyone in the family. I also bought a bathrobe which my teenage son seldom takes off.

In the recent January sale I bought two blankets (one cotton waffle and one cellular acrylic) but these were rather thin and feeble compared with others I had bought at John Lewis for much the same price, so I sent them back. Towels R Us were very good about the return so I would still use them again in the future, at least for towelling items.

Delivered both excellent quality personalised towels on time and are better than expected.

Easy to use website, huge range of towels and colours to use. I contacted the help line, which was very good and I was helped with the final transaction. The goods arrived (quickly) on time and I was very happy. My daughter is so jealous, I'm under severe pressure to get her her own towels!

This is what i wrote as a complaint to them and to date have received no acknowledgement or response.

"I am very disappointed with the service I received. This order was very important to me so I phoned before I placed the order to confirm that it could be delivered by 13th January. I was assured that it could and I placed the order in good faith. I received confirmation on 10th that it had been dispatched

When it did not arrive, I phoned and was told someone would get back to me. No one did and I called again. The person I spoke to said " it's probably just the mail taking it's time as usual". If you "usually" have a problem with your first class mail taking over three days to arrive then why was I not informed before I placed my order. No apology was given, just a rather lame " give us a call on Monday if it does not arrive by then". It arrived on Monday and I am not therefore confident that it was actually posted on the Tuesday before.

Whilst you cannot be held responsible for the mail you can be responsible for the information you give your customers and how you speak to them.I have been a repeat customer for the past couple of years and will not be using your service again."

I've used Towels R Us before to buy personalised towelling robes for my young nephews. I bought the exact same products again because they've grown out of their original robes. The quality is second to none and I wouldn't buy from anywhere else.

I bought from this company twice recently. The items arrived promptly and the quality was excellent.

Really pleased I found your website. Very hard to find 100% cotton dressing gowns these days. Nearly ALL shops and websites only stock those horrible polyester fluffy ones! They may feel nice to touch, but they are useless. Not only do you sweat in them, they do not dry your skin properly, as they are NOT cotton. I cant believe all the major high streest shops stock them - they are horrible.

I am so glad I found your wonderful cotton dressing gown, with a hood (which they dont all have either) and a clever belt that is sewn on at the back, so the child never loses it. All for a reasonable price. I even went for the embroidery on the front for my son, which he loves. Thank you again.

I spent months looking for a dressing gown that would actually dry my son (ie not fleece). Found this online, ordered it with his initials and it arrived very quickly. he was delighted

The large bath sheet I ordered seems to be of good quality and comes up nice and fluffy when washed. However, I was disappointed that it shrunk about 4" one way and about 2" the other way and I ordered it for it's specific size. It was washed at 60°

I bought a bathrobe for my wife which is thick, fluffy and good quality.

My purchase was delivered within days of ordering and was above my expectations, will definitely buy from again !

Very satisfied with the goods I ordered. Prompt and courteous contact to tell me that the colour I ordered was out of stock and to ask for my alternative choice. Very acceptable delivery time and good packaging.

Mum needed blankets - can't find them in the shops now, so did a search.
Ordered, confirmation fast and delivery very quickly! So good - ordered some more!

I ordered a kitchen towel rail holder, which was not the width advertised when it arrived and therefore was no use to me. I tried to follow the advice on their website " Simply contact us so that we can provide you with a valid RMA (Returns Mandatory Authorisation) code which you will need to return any item(s) back to us within 28 days, quoting your order number. Without this code we are unable to process your request." about returning goods, but they told me on the phone to return the item and that they would refund me, and not to wait for the required returned goods number. I paid to return the towel and towel rail holder and have not received a refund.

Placed order one afternoon and huge box of slippers arrived next morning. Couldn't be better!
