Hi Jen, I’m really sorry to hear this — I can imagine how worrying it must be to see an unexpected charge on your account.
Just to reassure you, we are a small UK-based business and we do not have any way of taking payments from individuals unless they have directly booked and authorised a payment with us.
As you’re based in Australia and we operate only here in the UK, it sounds very likely this charge may relate to a different company with a similar name. We’re aware there is another company called EcoSki based in France, which may be worth looking into.
In the meantime, I’d strongly recommend contacting your bank as soon as possible to query the transaction and, if necessary, report it as unauthorised so they can investigate properly for you. If you dispute it with your bank they can sort it out with the company and you will be refunded.
I hope you’re able to get it sorted quickly. If there is anything we can help with - please do say. You can send the details of the payment to us via email if you’d like? Maybe sharing the account number and sort code would be helpful initially?
A bit sad that this misunderstanding has given us a 1 star review … but the priority of course is getting your funds back.

Cannot recommend highly enough. The quality of the clothing is fantastic and the service is super efficient. As a seasoned skier, renting ski clothing has been a gamechanger for me and my family, saving us a considerable amount of money!

Brilliant concept and speedy response times
Brilliant concept, the ski pants I rented were in great condition and arrived promptly. The team were easy to get hold of and responded quickly to my questions. Will definitely use again! The only improvement I can think of would be to let me know when you receive the parcel after I sent it back. DPD said it was in transit but I wasn’t sure it had arrived, I got prompted to leave a review so am assuming they got back OK!

Excellent EcoSki
Second season using EcoSki and we’re just as impressed as the first! Our kit arrived in perfect condition and well ahead of the holiday, and the sizing is spot on.

Easy to choose
Easy to choose, high quality clothing, and responsive staff. Highly recommend these guys if you don't ski enough to warrant buying outright. Simple returns system also. Smooth from start to finish.

Genuinely blown away - will definitely use again!
I honestly cannot recommend Ecoski enough. Everything arrived in fantastic condition (most of the gear was new and still with tags), earlier than promised. We realised that one pair of salopettes was too small for my eldest (who had had a growth spurt - not Ecoski's fault!), and when I contacted them they sent us out 2 larger pairs immediately, free of charge. Not only is renting skiwear a brilliant eco-friendly option, but for growing kids who just aren't going to fit the same skiwear year on year, or if you're trying skiing for the first time and aren't sure if you'll take to it, it makes a lot of financial sense. I waited to write this review until I had gone through the return process, as I thought that might be stressful, but that was also really easy. We will definitely be using Ecoski next year, and will recommend to everyone I know.

Immaculate Service
I honestly cannot recommend Eco Ski highly enough. Easily the best customer service I’ve experienced in years.
I messaged them on WhatsApp for help with sizing and got an instant response. The communication was clear, friendly, and genuinely personal. We went back and forth a few times, and they were always super responsive, patient, and happy to help.
It made the whole experience so easy and stress‑free. I’ll absolutely be using Eco Ski every year from now on.
