Very serious attitude toward quality standards, sustainability, and customer service. Highly recommended.

Grundsätzlich eine gute Idee, macht jedoch keine Firma nachhaltiger. Nur die Bürokratie wird erhöht. Wenn es nicht für unsere sehr geschätzten Kunden wäre, würde ich Ecovadis sofort kündigen. Trotz stätiger Verbesserungen wird der Score jedes Jahr schlechter. Was soll das? Wenn man es vermeiden kann, sollte man sich Ecovadis nicht antun!

Ecovadis sent an email for a renewal reminder, I immediately responded requesting to cancel the renewal. They replied stating 'case solved!'.

Fast forward a few weeks and I'm getting debt collection letters threatening legal action if the invoice was not cleared within five days. Spoke to this debt collector and told them I'd cancelled and had email confirmation. Debt collector then emailed stating that ecovadis had no such emails and that the debt stood.

Contacted ecovadis in France, spoke to someone who said I'd cancelled in the wrong way and that the invoice was still outstanding. Told them I'd happily fight this in court and they backed down and cancelled the invoice.

Yet another company whose sole purpose is not to provide a product or service but to rely on onerous autorenewals terms and then threaten with legal action if they're not adhered to.

The score is just the beginning. There are so many resources in the platform for education and community to help your business understand the whole scope of sustainability

This is a terrible company, a total scam. They are unhelpful, the vetting service and questionaire is totally skewed, they have no customer service, and there is no benefit to using them, yet they insist we pay them £400 for the privilege. It's basically a racket they should be ashamed and investigated

Really terrible company, they tricked me out of money and then used debt collection agencies when I raised an issue. Do not use this company.

Since the questionnaires are quite long, it would be easier to navigate if You could refer to the questions ID (like GEN300) both in the action report as well as from the document library when showing which questions a document is attached to.

EcoVadis operates with a lack of transparency that borders on predatory. We were lured into completing an exhaustive questionnaire under the impression it was a mandatory customer requirement, yet our direct Person in Charge (PIC) at the customer side had no knowledge of EcoVadis’ existence. Furthermore, there was no mention of a "compulsory payment" during the initial onboarding or in any early correspondence. Their own pricing plan states "by invited partner" only, which led us to believe the process was covered, yet they issued an unauthorized invoice only after we had invested the time to submit our data. CS was good ast first, but after we submited the questionnaire, all email to customer service were not reply, and if we insist, they avoided all questions and keep insisting that we paid. seems like a red flag.

J’ai pris EcoVadis uniquement parce qu’un client me l’a demandé. Ce n’est pas un choix volontaire, mais une contrainte commerciale : sans notation, pas de marché. On est clairement dans une logique de filtre administratif, pas d’amélioration réelle des pratiques.

Un reporting cosmétique sous contrainte
Le questionnaire est purement déclaratif, sans contrôle sérieux. Il peut être rempli (et optimisé) très facilement avec de l’intelligence artificielle. La note obtenue n’a donc, à mon sens, aucune valeur réelle. C’est un péage administratif déguisé en morale, où la conformité remplace l’engagement concret.

Un business très lucratif sur le dos des PME
Le dispositif coûte environ 1 000 € par an aux entreprises, pour un service dont l’utilité réelle est discutable. EcoVadis, c’est surtout l’histoire de quelques personnes qui ont monté un questionnaire devenu incontournable, valorisé aujourd’hui à des centaines de millions d’euros, et financé principalement par les PME contraintes d’y passer.

First time I was contacted by EcoVadis was the collection agency chasing the 2nd year renewal. I did not renew as I never heard from EcoVadis in the first year, and soon after the renwal wasn't done the collection ageny contacted me informing about the fine print, and my obligation to pay which indicates that this is a well planned Scam, more than an environmental initiative.

It covers the aspects of ESG evaluation and thus guides you towards a process of continuous improvement.

Abbiamo seguito le loro regole ma è impossibile poter avere un review e soprattutto il servizio assistenza inesistente.

I was a great experience all the time

Ecovadis è sostanzialmente una tassa. Un gettone da pagare per poter lavorare con alcune aziende. Ecovadis non apporta valore e non lavora per migliorare nessun tipo di situazione. Fa parte di tutto quel sistema di aziende che, muovendosi sulla scia della sostenibilità, incrementa costi, burocrazia e perdita di tempo per la maggiorparte degli stakeholder.

Die Idee dahinter ist vielleicht gut, die Firma aber eine Katastrophe.
EXTREM schlecht zu erreichen. Keine fixen Ansprechpartner. Gehen 0 auf einen ein. Score bekommt man erst, nachdem man die Rechnung bezahlt hat. Fragen passen 0 für uns, aber das kann man ja mit keinem besprechen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen! Vielleicht interessant für riesige Konzerne, aber nicht für kleine Unternehmen.
Wir mussten die Auswertung für einen Kunden machen und mussten deshalb ein Abo bezahlen und nun 2 Jahre später sollen wir die Antworten aktualisieren. Dafür müssen wir aber nun wieder ein sauteures Abo abschließen!

Have used ecovadis for a year and the subscription ran out. Impossible to re-activate the account. Been in contactct with support 3 times and still not able to re-activate the system. Support ask us to re-register the company, however this is impossible as the company is already registered.
