Place has always been a joke...
It one of the only places in ni to get DJ equipment but they charge what they want..
Went in at Xmas for a £5 cable to be pushed onto a £65 interface which I didn't need the best part it was only £45 online store

Great service, product got from N. Ireland to Leeds in under 2 days, gave me technical help before order and when I had questions after delivery were available to speak to me in the evening well after closing time. Would highly recommend

I had been trying find an XDJ-XZ for a number of months and nearly all suppliers were constantly out of stock with an ETA of around 4-5 months.

I found Electronics Centre online and called them. They were able to check their stock allocation and advise that they were expecting a small number within 2 weeks.

I had confidence in the sales assistant and so I paid online and then just last week received my unit and am very impressed with their service and 3 year warranty.

Hadn’t heard of them prior to this purchase but will def be using them again.

Wanted a white Equinox Helix not available in UK found this on the web it was in Ireland ordered and was here with in 4 days great service.

Ordered a synth via an accepted credit agreement, based on the big green statement on the product's page "**In stock and ready to ship to you next day**".

Received a phone call next day "Sorry this is not in stock".

Now I have a hard credit search on my credit report which will affect future lender decisions.

They gave some excuse about getting the item mixed up with a similar product, which does not fill me with confidence about the rest of their product catalog!

"We can get it to you at the end of the year". It is July at time or writing.

Would not recommend.

Fantastic local shop. As a family we try to support local. This is our go to shop for any tech needs. Staff were helpful in supplying the correct leads and advising me on how to network my house. Even spending some time on the phone with me when I ran into a few issues. Wonderful service.

I have been shopping here for over 15 years and have always received excellent customer service. So far we have had a hifi, games console and Ghd’s repaired always to what I believe a high standard as the hifi is still working 5 years later. More recently I have brought my child in to pick some sensory lighting for his room. The manager was wonderful and very patient with us. He took the time to show us each light. Fantastic shop will keep coming back.

Recently purchased my latest controller pioneers xdj xz and speakers. I mainly deal with John who has all the time in the world for his customers. I am a nightmare when it comes to speakers choice but it didnt matter here. I got to test every studio speaker available in store until i got what i needed with no hassle. Very understanding staff and knowledgeable guys. What stood out the most for me and i have been buying from this shop from i was a teenager. They dont try and sell u anything, they take in what you say and fit you out to exactly what you need. I can't thank you enough John for your help and rest of your staff.

The content of this post was removed from the Trustpilot website earlier in the year at the request of the shop due to some technicality over which exact email address the review had been posted! On the basis that this is a review site in which we are able to inform other potential purchasers of poor business practice I have finally got round to re-posting.

I got stuck with a virtually worthless credit note of £60 back in March 2018 (see my previous post entitled 'have a read at this before you buy' which I have been informed by Google has been read by over 1000 people to date). Having canvassed nearly everyone I know to see if there was anything I could buy from the Electronic Centre to recover my money, and that would be of use to any of them, I eventually identified a couple of florescence tubes and a handful of batteries from which I could derive some benefit. 
In the shop I was attended to by an assistant who supplied me with the goods and who then had a look around the shop to see if there was anything that he could see that would make up the cost of my goods to the £24.99 remaining balance of the original voucher.  The manager informed me that if I wished to use the full amount of the credit note I would have to increase my purchase to a sum equal to or exceeding its 'value'. I wouldn't spend any more money in this shop as a matter of principle and informed him that he could just keep the £1 balance.

It was at this stage that the manager asked for the name to whom the credit note was issued. He had been standing in proximity to me for the previous 5 minutes but on hearing my name finally recognised me and appeared to become agitated. He said something along the lines of 'It's you isn't it! You gave us a bad review!' and then informed me that as a consequence he had ‘decided not to do any more for me’. I pointed out that he was too late, lifted my goods which had been sitting in front of him on the counter and walked out of the shop.
I have since spoken to the Citizens Advice Bureau and Trading Standards both of whom confirmed that any threat to fail to honour a credit note due to a customer posting a critical review would be ridiculous.

I find the manager's attitude disappointing and, in to-day's competitive environment with easily accessible customer reviews, also surprising that any retailer could afford to become so fractious. Whether he intended or not to honour the credit note is a matter for conjecture as I didn't hang about to find out. Perhaps when he informed me that he was prepared to do no more for me he was under the mistaken impression that I would be seeking his advice on some pressing matter in the future. Regardless, you have to question whether you really want to deal with the sort of people willing to display such peevishness with members of the public. It seems improbable that you would experience a similar attitude from any other small retailer and certainly not from Amazon, any of the large chain stores or the multinationals. 

I can only reiterate the comments recorded in my previous post that if this is the nature of customer care that can be expected from our local business community it seems unsurprising that there  have been so many related bankruptcies. Sadly I would find it almost impossible to conceive of either myself or my family ever going out of our way to support local enterprise again.

I`m a bit disappointed. I found a better price for sonos speaker at curryc and I decided to ask for a price match (as they offer that) No replay at all. I don`t expect all shops do price match for any item but I expect a replay.

I haven't shopped here but this is not the same company as 'the electronicS centre' run by a crook called tariq gill. he has tried to direct some traffic to here to cover his tracks.

I have not bought anything here, probably i will do it in the future, just want to say that this is the genuine and only electronic centre.

I havnt shopped from here but I just wanted to make people well aware that This is not the same company as electronics centre, these poor guys have been tortured for a week over a scam that has absolutely nothing to do with these guys, I feel for these people due to the other idiot scammers that has sadly used a very similar name this is a genuine company xxx

Been shopping from these guys for years now. Noticed a very similar website has been set up under electronicScentre.com which has been scamming people. Beware. These guys are 100% legit and have been trading for over 40 years!

As a woman. This store has helped me over the years. From repairs to my hifi. Looking for weird hard to find bulbs around my house. They have never let me down.. Friendly knowledgeable staff. UPDATE nothing to do with the fake electronicscentre

Having recently bought an XDJ-1000 Package from Electronic Centre, I was very impressed by their service.

Quick replys using their instant chat service, I spoke to John very helpful and he gave me a ring the following day to confirm my order as there had been a little stock issue, which was quickly resolved.

Electronic centre has saved me as XDJ-1000s are sold out everywhere due to the pandemic but EC has seriously pulled through with this one so they deserve a good review! Thankyou

Just to avoid any confusion, this review is for Electronic Centre, Belfast and not a similarly named website with an 's' in the middle of their web address.

Electronic Centre took payment for an item that was not in stock, even though their website was showing it in stock at the time of ordering.

After emailing them several times asking for an update on my order they eventually got back to me claiming they had previously tried to email me about my order but didn't get a reply (I checked all my email folders including Spam, no emails were received).

The email also informed me that they didn't have the item in stock and asked would I like to wait for it to become available. As no estimated delivery date was offered by their sales team I emailed them back asking for a refund, again I received no response to this email and a further refund request sent to the merchant using Amazon Pay's Customer Service Portal was returned as 'undeliverable'.

I did receive a refund but only after talking to a representative at Amazon Pay who contacted the merchant on my behalf. Other than the one email mentioned previously, I received no communication from Electronic Centre, not even a confirmation that the refund had been made (confirmation was sent to me by Amazon).

Other people's mileage might vary but I found the whole experience of dealing with Electronic Centre very disappointing and I wouldn't order anything from them again.
