The customer service is actually awful

The customer service is actually awful. I have been trying to reach out to them for more than a month now. I ordered my package on first of January. It is now 16th of February and It still hasn’t arrived. It got sent here, but because of wrong information it got sent back to elevatestyles. I have been sending them emails about what will happen now and if my package will be sent out again or if I will get a refund. They completely ignore my messages. They do not provide you with the info you need. I still do not have my package and I still haven’t gotten a reply.

On my first order I wanted to exchange my 4 wigs for a lighter color but you guys didn’t let me do that you said I had to return them in which I did and you guys withheld 20.00 dollars from my refund for a so call restocking fee plus I had to pay to ship them back and I ordered 4 more in a lighter color I don’t think that was fair to your customer!!!!

VERY VERY Poor Customer Service!!

It’s been almost 5 days now since they promised to send me the new shipping details of my order, and no word or action on their part .
I am frustrated with them because I have been a loyal customer for several years, but their customer service is very disappointing. There’s no coordination between their reps. It is impossible to get them on phone. Their response time to correct their mistakes takes longer than necessary.
I’m still waiting for my order two weeks later with no definite date yet when or if it will arrive.

So which is which?
This is what you had replied earlier on

“We successfully coordinated with the hotel where you were staying to intercept the package and arrange for its return to us. Simultaneously, we expedited a shipment to your address in Australia at no additional cost to you. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding throughout this process”.

Now the item wasn’t shipped, but it’s actually lost??

Please cancel this order and give me back my refund.

Unless you are stuck in a remote…

Unless you are stuck in a remote location as I was, I strongly recommend purchasing your products from any other store. Even Amazon is better than this. For a while I was ok with this level of service, I was stuck in Japan and every store was charging me ridiculous amounts to ship out here. This store was the only one with free shipping to this country. The catch? Their fulfillment process is long and convoluted, sometimes they apparently don't have certain items in stock (though its available for purchase on the website), it takes about a week or more just for them to hand the shipment over to the carrier and then the carrier is usually just a postal service which isn't always very prompt. Currently I have placed my order on the 29th of January, it was handed over to PostNL (? Why not USPS I wonder?) on the 6th of February and since then the only thing they have done is create a shipping label and prepare to ship it. It is currently the 12th and there has been no activity on the item for almost 1 week. This is extremely unacceptable. If you try to enquire about the status of the stalled shipment you will receive impolite one sentence answers that will not address your query because apparently they have far more important things to do with their time than deal with customer issues. This is not good service.

Fortunately I will be leaving Japan quite soon. I will again have many options for online beauty supply/hair stores that have free shipping and better delivery options. Though they were expensive shipping to Japan, I can positively recommend Hairsofly. Their orders are shipped promptly (same or next day) via courier (not post) and I've always received my orders within a few days even out here in Japan. And communication with this company was polite and helpful. THAT is good service.

*Edit*This is the longest response I have received from this company to date. Nothing like the impolite one line emails they were sending me before to dismiss my query. But as you can see it is as unhelpful as ever and simply attempts to divert blame and responsibility onto the customer. Maybe they don't understand what good customer service actually is. It isn’t just delivering products on time, it is caring about customer concerns and being willing assist with them.
I will soon be moving from the delivery address permanently making delivery impossible after this point, I have several deliveries inbound from different companies and I have been contacting all these companies mostly just to get ETAs on the shipments. The companies with good customer service simply provide the estimated date of arrival and show a general willingness to continue discussion in the event that things don't go as planned while elevatestyles, well you can see what kind of response they gave.

I am aware of the expedited shipping option, but I receive deliveries from overseas all the time so I knew there was enough time to receive the delivery (unless the shipment is being delayed by being kept at storage locations for days with no actual shipping activity). When I contacted them last week all I really wanted was an ETA and to know whether they would be willing to assist in the event of a problem. Now that I know they are not I may have to go to my bank and have the money retreived because given the lack of activity on this shipment there is a real possibility that the shipment is lost somewhere.

*Edit2* it's now the 15th Feb, after 7days there was finally an update in the shipping and it seems that instead of posting my order directly to japan through USPS they sent my order to the Netherlands to pass through their postal service. Why did you do this? Is it because I kept commenting on your delivery/fulfillment processes in my previous reviews? Because the package was sent to the Netherlands instead of Japan it is clear that it will not be received in time for my departure and I now have no choice but to cancel the transaction with my bank because the package will be undelivered. I'm just disappointed at this point because I was really looking forward to these items. You people do not value your customers or care about yhe experience that anyone will have at your store and as a result this will surely be the last order I ever place at your store.

Items not available and not so kind response from so support

One of the items that I ordered was not available so a refund was issued, this could have avoid if your site could show real availability of the products. No tracking url was provided until i contacted support, by the way support person did not say hello or grettins in the response so for me seems very rude.
