TERRIBLE!! They had an issue with their ordering system for the SECOND time and as a result, I missed out on Black Friday deals. AVOID USING THEM DIRECTLY!!!

Customer service is appalling. Have contacted them about 5 times for different matters and each time requires you to chase up your original inquiry at least once to respond when they quote 1 working day.

When they do reply it’s obvious they haven’t read your question properly, are dismissive and quite rude to be honest - even when the fault lies with them. Had this happen when asking for my points to be added on every single time (a chore in itself as it’s supposed to be automatic).

Recently I asked whether a lipstick is supposed to smell like rancid oil or whether this was a quality problem. But ignored as usual. Given this pattern, but the fact that the products themselves are really good quality for the value, I will try to purchase from other retailers instead of directly with them.

I'll be honest, I only ordered from them once several years ago and I cannot bring myself to ever order from them again. Actually, the experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't even buy their products in store at Walmart, etc. Basically, I placed a $100 order that took over 4 weeks to get to me, and when it did I had to pay $100 in duties and taxes in Canada... what IS that!? When I brought both issues up to customer service they might has well have just shrugged, as they didn't care at all.

Errr... So looking at the tracking details, it shows that the item was delivered. However, it's now stuck in a post office locker and because Elf C didn't bother to put my actual details as a receiver I cannot get the code to open the locker where the parcel is.
They marked the receiver name as 55555555 and left the phone number and email address out completely. Customer service is very rude and non-available to help. They are expecting me to contact different places to figure this out but it's their mess really. I spoke with the local post office and they said there is nothing they can do, only the sender can update these details so I'll prob won't be getting my parcel then.
Awful customer service, an absolute joke, might just be the rudest I've ever come across. I'm super surprised about this as I always thought Elf was a friendly, nice company that's welcoming everyone. Nope nope nope. They will likely want me to remove this review but I have screenshots on standby to show how aggressive and rude their customer service is.

I made an order on October 5th, they sent an email of order confirmation and then I didn't recieved any more updates. I waited until October 25th (they said that the delivery would be around that date), but still nothing, so I sent an email. Then they said the order was cancelled, without any explication, and I only new it bc I sent an email asking for it, otherwise I would probably have lost my money. I won't but from them again.

Delivery is a f**king joke. The customer service takes a long time to get back to you, and when they do, nothing fixes. First my tracking link was expired, then the delivery date/time became invisible for days. On top of that Fedex played hot potato with my shipment sending it to every facility around the city when they could have just delivered it. It used to be at a location close to my house so i thought id finally receive it. Little did i know Id have to wait 2-3 more days since they relocated it across town. Such a waste of $70. If you want their products, just go to a target or something. The site is a nightmare

Ordered from elf. They put the billing through eshopworld. Got a confirmation email and a delivery date, money taken out of the account. Delivery date comes and goes. Message elf and get told my orders been cancelled. No one notified me at any point of this of course. They give me no explanation and just say to speak to eshopworld. After going back and forth for 2 weeks with no actual information given to me, I finally get my money refunded. No one's given me any explanation and obviously if I hadn't been paying attention they would have just taken my money and went with it. Mad at both elf and eshopworld. Its absolutely ludicrous. Will not buy from either again.

Love this brand , so far been very impressed with quality and affordability. The customer service is brilliant when I had an issue no quibble and item replaced

I ordered $40 worth of products from Elfcosmetics.com. I never received the package. The FedEx delivery man decided to leave it at my super's door, out in the open where anyone off the street could take it. My super is away on vacation, so I know he never got my package. I went to see if the package was outside the door and it wasn't. It is missing. I contacted FedEx who told me it was out of their hands since they contacted the one who delivered it and all he is telling them is he left it outside the super's door. FedEx told me to contact Elf and ask for a reshipment since the package is missing. Elf refuses to help and all they told me is to keep waiting to see if I get it within 3 days. They are making me wait for something I will never receive. I am done doing business with them after this. They took my money and won't even help me get my products or money back. Now…after filing a complaint with BBB they got nasty with me saying my complaint wasn’t warranted but they are giving me a refund. So hopefully I do get it. Though I don’t know if I trust them anymore. Never buying from them again.

My first time order and still haven't received my order after 2 weeks of dispatch. Terrible service.

(update: Got a reply from them saying the shipment was lost in transit. unbelievable!)

DO NOT buy anything from them. I have been patiently waiting for my order for 5 weeks. I finally contacted them via e-mail and they let me know my order has been cancelled. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? My credit card was already charged and I spent hours deciding what to buy before finally placing an order (for the first time). The items are literally for sale on their website as we speak so how can you not just fill my order? Your sale was a SCAM. Where is the customer service here? Just trust me and do not order from them. Give your business to a company who deserves it.

So I purchased the E.l.f cosmetics eyelash curler from Target the other day and it literally cut my fricken lashes off!!!!! I have a huge gap in my lashes and all I want to do is ball my eyes out!!!! How do you sell a product that is so fricken sharp it cuts your lashes off?!?!? Like AAAAHHHHH … lashes are like every woman’s security blanket!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭 I’m devastated!!! I feel like I sound so Superficial, but it’s my FRICKEN lashes!!!!!

Its more like a powder very dry was expecting moisture and it emphasized wrinkles. Tube wasnt very full either. Awful stuff not for me waste of money. I tried mixing it into moisturiser but didnt work. Save your money better to just use sun tan cream .I bought Elf camo cc cream camouflage full cover natural finish spf 30 ebay. 9.99

I have been an E.L.F customer for over a year now and have ordered a number of times. Each order has been great. There were some delays during lockdown but I wasn't too concerned about this. All of the products I have ordered are great. The eyeshadow bite size palettes are brilliant. The colours are so pigmented so a little goes a long way. My only query was last month when I tried to claim my birthday gift. I couldn't get it to work online so I contacted customer services who emailed me back with a possible solution. When this didn't work, (probably me doing something wrong!) I emailed them back and they sent me my free gift straight away. My whole order arrived the next day. I love the products as they don't affect my sensitive skin and they are such great value. I won't go anywhere else for my make up now.

I order from them a month ago. I immediately got an order confirmation but didn’t receive any update after that. After a month of waiting I contacted customer service. They were very kind and answered within two days. They offered to resend the product or a refund. I asked to resend the products and they arrived 3 days later. The products are amazing tho!

I have been buying from elf now for about 2 years..never had an issue with delivery or products..I accidentally placed an order under my old address.. contacted them and they rectify it to my correct address. No issues from me.

Great service. I was concerned I didn’t receive an email of confirmation. I emailed got a response in 24 hrs as stated. I was worried with the comments when they said it had Been dispatched after 2 days of ordering. I queried it but I got my products 5 days after order in great condition and love the product. Positive I would use them again. Thank you elf cosmetics

I love ELF. They are super affordable, offer great products and their customer service responds quickly and have resolved my issue. They delivered my order in less than a week, didn't take long to ship my order out. They have a lot of sales, a lot of discounts/discount codes, they give you free full-sized gifts with purchase, on top of the already low price. And most of the products I have tried I have re-bought over and over again throughout the years because I can't be without them! One of my brushes arrived broken and they immediately took care of the problem and sent me a replacement at no charge. Their brushes are pretty much the only makeup brushes I buy. I have a couple of other holy grails item from this brand. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about them! They are great! :)

Worst customer service its been one month I ordered stuff and still I don't receive. Its don't even worth one star. I will not order anything from them again.

I'll give them two stars because i've used one or two of their make up products in highschool and i loved it. So i ordered a skin care set from elf cosmetics. Before ordering the skin care set i spoke to an employee who was extremely nice and helpful. I checked the shipping date and its supposed to reach next month. which is just absolutely ridiculous. I ordered other products from various websites and its reaching next week. All Standard Shipping. When i saw the date for expected shipping i thought it was ridiculous. So i called them to get a refund, i was planning to re order but using express shipping and the customer service just absolutely sucks. I'llwait until next month but never again. Its crazy because i love their products from highschool. but never again just because of the customer service.
