I received a message from Emirates Islamic Bank stating that my liability letter was ready for collection and that I could collect it from any branch. Based on this, I went to a nearby branch, only to be told that the letter could only be collected during morning hours. This was not mentioned anywhere in the original message.

This kind of miscommunication is extremely frustrating and unprofessional, especially when customers are taking time out of their day based on the bank’s own instructions. If there are time restrictions or specific branches where documents can be collected, that should be clearly communicated in advance.

Disappointed with the lack of clarity and inconvenience caused. I expect better from a bank that claims to prioritize customer service.

My experience with Emirates Islamic Bank was very bad and the worst was with credit card department. There promises are fake and they don’t commit to the deal or the offers that are selling you. Moreover, the way of handling the the customers is not good and that are not investigating well. My case was with the credit card issuance and that are really the worst bank I dealt with.

Worst Service and no benefits. Would never recommend to anyone.

Closed my account without my knowledge.
They didn't inform me about closure of my account. I went to branch to inquire about this they told me that is their policy , means they can close any account at any time without inform account holder.. shame on you staffs for their behavior . If I could give zero stars I would!

Worst bank ever. One of their sales rep who bank has assigned for me to acquire a bank loan has opened two another stock exchange AC & a savings AC without my acknowledgement using the signature on bank loan application which I didn’t knew until recently. Finally I did not get their loan and diverted to another comfortable bank to acquire the loan. After 8 years the moment I got to know about unauthorized ACs I went & closed them paying 230AED for some cost that did not got record on their monthly statements. Now when I raise the complain bank is asking me the application number for which I never obtained the loan which means there won’t be any application number. They act dumb and ignorant instead of giving me a resolution. I even provided the sales rep name & the day of closing AC the customer service rep told me his name is recorded on the system

Don’t Choose this bank they give you full of headaches and frustration because of their negligence….to cut it short worst bank….

How one wishes they had read the reviews prior to engaging with this shoddy organisation. In short it is the most unprofessional embarrassing institution that one has ever come across.
I will not go into detail as it would require pages of feedback .
For your mental health , self respect and dignity do not go near this bank .
All the reviews I can fully state are true based on the shambolic experience over the past two months .
Do your self a favour and avoid at all costs .
It is a tale of lies after lies and you being treated like an inconvenience.

Just wanted a personal credit card. Requested my company landline number and Du bill for that number! Insisted to go into the office to take a call on that number and then when I answered said they needed to speak to HR (after I drove all the way in as I was told I needed to answer the call).

Got charged the sign up fee 2 weeks before I even received the card!!!

Got signed up with some made up email address even though the agent had my email address, so I cannot register with the mobile app.

Completely incompetent and useless sales agents. Making these stupid mistakes on their end which I then have to spend many hours of my life sorting out.

DO NOT USE - unless you are willing to waste 50 hours of your life sorting out other peoples incompetence

worst banking experience with Emirates Islamic! No customer security, no proper resolution. I've been following up for 10 months and they keep saying 'OTP was entered'-but the same case was solved in my favor by emirates NBD.why does one UAE bank protect its customers while another favors a fraudulent merchant? Emirates islamic bank ruined my life, I traveled back home to see my family and unfortunately during the holiday my daughter had an accident, she fell off the stairs and had a bone fracture on the arm and for me to tranfer money from my emirates islamic account I found out that my account was suspended for with no warning and no reason I could remember when I tried reaching them through email they told me to visit the branch and I said I wasn't in the country so they should please open my account so I can make a withdraw and pay for my daughters hospital bills but no one helped me untill time had passed and my daughters arm got some infection and before the money I borrowed arrived my daughters arm got infected and had to me amputated cut off 😭😭

I would like to give a high recommendation of Ms Marwa Abdel Aziz at EIB Mirdif City Center Branch staff, she is extremely supportive, helpful and has a high human touch when I needed help with my credit card renewal which was blocked and she she gave me all the professional and personal support. She is a genuine staff member.

On 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, I contacted Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) for urgent assistance. A manager responded via WhatsApp with a 👍 (𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗯𝘀 𝗨𝗽 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗷𝗶) — no greeting, acknowledgment, or commitment to resolve the issue. When I criticized this dismissive behavior, the manager called me and proceeded to 𝗮𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗲, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁, 𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗲 for the problem. At no point did they apologize, listen actively, or propose solutions — hallmarks of basic client care.

As a former banking professional with decades of experience, I was shocked by the lack of empathy and accountability. The manager’s conduct violated every industry standard: 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗻𝗼 𝗱𝗲-𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺. Worse, this aligns with EIB’s 1-star Trustpilot rating, where clients cite frozen accounts, delays, and unresponsive staff.

EIB’s service is 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗲 — 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴. Save yourself the frustration: choose a bank that values its clients. Until EIB overhauls its customer care culture, 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿.

Zero Stars if I could

They have now had my account on god knows what - suspension or whatever. They never told me this is happenings. I have send literally hundreds of emails and filled in dozens of KYCs. It has now been almost a year and I CANT even take out my OWN MONEY out! I cant even close the damn account because I dont live in the country! Like what the actual ... !?!!?

I’m writing this concern about Emirates Islamic Banks recent very bad customer service. Actually unauthorized transaction took approximately AED 4600 from my credit card.. and they refunded 3600.. now 3rd month but still I’m waiting for refund of AED 1000. No one taking care of that amount as I paid all my dues to avoid any charges..

Now I’m struggling to get my money from bank.when ever reaching to customer support, their simplest answer is “ in progress you will get in 3days”.. those 3 days now become 3 months.

The higher officers (managers, senior staffs) are hiding behind the customer support staffs and even not ready to speak with customers..

it’s not right to hold the customer money.. Unsafe transaction should be treated urgently to avoid financial problem to customers. As you know even 1drm values lot..

If someone guide me to complaint the issue to Central bank.. please advise
