I was in the parking lot.
Of a small shopping mall in Easley, South Carolina today.
And had an encounter with a truck of yours.
I was leaving the shopping mall and was behind another truck that was moving into the turning lane when one of your trucks came barreling down on me. I threw on my brakes and blew my horn, several times as loud as I could but he kept coming!
So, I got my pen out and jotted down his tag number while he was waiting in line to turn.

Absolutely Awful. Not the first time they've made a total mess of deliveries - but I waited around ALL day on an arranged date; received a notification finally that I was the "next stop". Hours went by. Then I receive messages to say packages are delivered (when it wasn't). I then click on the phone number to call customer support only to be put through to some recorded line about a promotion with no way off it. FINALLY find a phone number with someone to talk to who can't help... but to be told that the driver 'timed out' and their system just reported it as delivered. USELESS delivery company.

Man this shipping company sucks my package has been sitting for a week already and when I try to find out what’s going on with it there a automotive response no available agent at this time it’s in a holding warehouse 45 mins away from me you really can’t make this up not the 1st time

What a waist of time and money! They charge like a 5 star but give 1 star service not ones have they ever delivered on time always 2 to 3 days late. One day delay is a gift! Do not waist your money.

I wish I could give Estes zero stars but then I couldn't post this review. Absolutely horrible shipping company. Order a shipment of brick from MA, Estes site said it arrive in Harrisburg but it didn't actually. It got sent across the country. I only found this out because the purchasing company found the package. It wasn't after my 6 tickets that were created or the 2 phone calls that I placed to Estes...nope they didn't do anything for me. After my shipment was located they finally called me to schedule a delivery. Said they would be there between 10-1 and needed someone to sign off on the shipment. The shipment didn't arrive until 3pm. Terrible customer service and very unreliable shipping company. DO NOT USE if at all possible.

Carla that works at the Edwardsville location is the most rudest disrespectful woman I ever in my life talk to!! she talks over you she yells at you. Your money you spent on the product is not a priority. They don’t care about you taking losses. They first said they said My package was delivered in the garage. Then they turned around and said it was delivered at the end of my driveway, but no care at all about my missing items. Carla gets on the phone and yell at me and talks over me. I wouldn’t recommend a dog to have them to deliver their stuff

We had two shipments sent to us via Estes and both experiences were awful.

#1 We purchased a vanity from Bed, Bath, and Beyond and paid for it to be delivered inside the house. The delivery-person wanted to leave it outside in our driveway. I had to argue with him until he finally complied.

#2 The first shipment was the wrong item, so it was picked up and returned by a different shipping company (good experience). Then we scheduled shipment #2 to be dropped off. Estes Express gave me a window from 10a - 2p. When I hadn't heard from them by 1p, I called only to be told that the shipment never made it to the warehouse, so they wouldn't be coming. There was ZERO communication about this until I called. They then told me that they could deliver it between 4p - 6p on the following day. I planned my day around that only to be told by my wife that they came when I wasn't home at 2p. Fortunately, my wife was working from home that day. They were supposed to call when they were on their way. Did that happen? No. They called when they were in front of our house.

This is the worst shipping experience I've ever had. I wish Bed, Bath, and Beyond would stop using them. It makes me not want to purchase anything from there.

Estes Delivery played a major role in the mess with my $3,200 sofa delivery. They delivered only half of my order, and the remaining parts were sent to someone else entirely. Their communication was poor, and the situation was never properly clarified or resolved.

I am still without the rest of my sofa, and Estes has provided no meaningful solution or timeline to fix the problem. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Estes for furniture deliveries—especially for anything expensive or multi-piece.

If I could give negative 5 I would. I cancelled Thanksgiving plans because they sent an email stating they would be here the Wednesday before. The original date was the Wednesday after. The night before after I cancelled everything I received an email it was delayed and would be delivered Friday..no email..no call..I had to research because you can’t contact them to see if my $2500 purchase was being delivered so I didn’t waste another day home. I was able to find out it was coming Monday..no call, email..nothing until an hr prior I received a text..they would be there around 945 am. I have a dr appt that was scheduled 6 months prior .let’s see if they show on time..I won’t be back until 1130 and I will not be charged for another fee due to their poor communication and customer service!!!!

I received a call from a Chula Vista number - not identifying it as a company. A message was left that I have a shipment they need to schedule. I've called 4 times and have been on hold for over 30 minutes each time before I finally gave up. I have no idea what the shipment is as we are in the middle of a remodel and things are being delivered daily.

Where do I begin. The shipment was two days late, it came in some third-party box truck by two hoodlums who tossed my stuff around like a ragdoll and stacked the pallets on top of each other, even though they were clearly marked do not stack, which obliterated my product and cost me about $25,000 in damage. even though I provided photos and proof of the damage, Este’s denied the claim entirely and said I did not give sufficient proof and that they did the delivery perfectly fine.When I filed a damage claim Estes employees were rude and abrasive and super unhelpful and acted like I was trying to take food off their table, like it’s their money or something. The women in the corporate claims department were all super unfriendly and unhelpful and kept blaming CH Robinson and yet CH Robinson kept pawning me off on Estes. Nobody took responsibility for the damage and I didn’t get a dime of compensation even though the delivery was an absolute nightmare and my shipment incurred catastrophic damage due to miss handling by their own Freight Co. The icing on the cake is they adjusted the bill three times and kept charging me more money up to five weeks after the delivery was made and done!!! Who the heck does business like this? It just reminds me that everyone’s out for themselves, nobody looks out for the customer and nobody gives a crap about their fellow man in this world. Just another dark day for humanity, thanks Estes.

I would give no stars if possible. I've been waiting for a delivery since 10/06/25 and have yet to receive it. The one day they tried the lift gate broke so they had to take it back. That was on the 16th. It didn't even make it on the truck yesterday and guess what... No delivery today and no one is answering the phone.

This is the WORST company you can deal with! A third-party shipper who is incredibly incompetent and unprofessional. You can't find a WORSE one!! DO NOT USE!!!
We were given wrong delivery dates, then fluffed off on a 4th party shipper, Humble Trucking, who had a mechanical failure...but failed to let ANYONE know the delivery was canceled. I lost 2 days of work and paid a contractor to be at my house for the delivery. Put a complaint in with Home Depot, who hired these morons to do the delivery AFTER we paid for Home Depot to do it. Needless to say, another company I won't be buying from again!!

We had a huge package shipped to our trampoline park in Dayton-Centerville. Stephen, our delivery driver, was so patient and kind. He did everything in his power to help get it in the building and provide solutions. He had great communication and overall, this was the best delivery experience we've ever had! Unfortunately we had to reschedule the delivery for the next day, but Stephen was so positive and optimistic. This man deserves more than a raise!

This company is disgusting. My husband took his own life on July 22, 2024. I called the local office and was told that insurance should continue for at least 30 days. I was in shock and basically disengaged from reality at that time. I had to go to my doctor to get something to help me sleep and calm me down. I called the doctor on July 23 and got an anti-anxiety med. I called the main human resources office about a week later when I was able, only to find out that they cut off his insurance on the day he died. When I got upset, I was told that it was in the employee handbook (I'm not the employee) and that I was "taking this personally". I received the denial of payment to my doctor today, 14 months later. Not only was my husband due a paycheck, but he was also due vacation pay. I think this company should take a look in the mirror and treat people like humans, not like numbers. Disgusting and inhuman.

The tracking information was incorrect and the delivery was delayed even after I confirmed the delivery the morning of the day it was supposed to arrive. They claim to work with a third party and take no responsibility for delays and refused to reach out to the third party to enquire.

Worst shipping company I have ever dealt with. And that includes the abominal UPS and the truly atrocious Fed Ex. I won't even mention DHL. These estes guys are utterly incompetent bold face liars. Their customer service is worse than non-existent. I'm not kidding when I tell you to find any, and I mean ANY other shipper. RUN FOR YOU LIFE !!!!!!!!!

Terrible company! I took a day off to receive a delivery and that same day, they said they need to move us to the next morning (which was a Saturday). I wasted a day off and then the next morning they never showed up. We never got our delivery and we did. Didn’t even get a courtesy call.
