Extern.com Reviews

Variety of opportunities for any individuals looking to grow professionally. Helped me get an internship!

I can't thank Extern enough for the opportunity to further my knowledge and career. Through both of my externships, I gained real hands-on experience in sales automation and data analysis. Instead of being content specifically with AI in today's job market, I was able to learn and develop the skills I know use in my current role. I highly recommend Extern for all students to further their career and develop new skills to bring into the job market.

Extern gave me the opportunity to gain indepth practical knowledge on digital advertising, by giving me the opportunity to have my externship with Expedia Media.
The modules were comprehensive and easy to follow through. Completing a milestone at the end of every module further made learning more fun and practical.
We also had 24/7 support on the slack channel, thereby overcoming any challenge easily.

Thank you extern, I only wished externships could go back to being free.

Extern is a great company that does care for you and wants you to succeed. They teach you about the real world workforce and what its like. Everyone is extremely kind and understanding, truly a good experience.

The Modules were easier to follow, and the timing was convenient because it was outside of my working hours. The follow-ups for Satya were very encouraging; it kept us going. I only wish the sessions were much longer for us to engage more, even have a Padlet where we can raise questions and stuff.

Extern is providing students globally amazing career support and mentorship through remote Externship programs

As one of two African students selected to be a part of the Extern organized Venture Capital & Deal Sourcing role with RevRoad, my experience was incredible really. The program really sharpened my entrepreneurial eye and ability to spot potential even in the smallest of companies with the next big idea!

Had a great chance to be a part of one of the PwC cohorts for a nonprofit theater in Pennsylvania. It was great to be able to work with an actual client on a real world engagement.

It was amazing experience with Extern! I enjoyed the externship I did and loved the format of it. It was easily accessible and the Slack was nice to have to communicated with others.

I have completed two externships with Extern, and I can tell you firsthand that you do not have to wait for experience, because with Extern, experience is already waiting for you. Once you take that step and join an externship, you will not regret it. Just one opportunity can transform your resume and open new doors. So go for it, and rewrite your story from “no experience” to “real-world experience” with Extern.

Extern has really gotten me to boost my skills in many fields such as product, strategy, consulting, and analytics. Having collaborations with big companies makes the experience feel surreal. Definitely recommend for those who need work experience!

Great experience with their NatGeo+TNC externship programme! the staff was extremely supportive, and I had the chance of accessing the seed funding, which lead me to a really life changing opportunity!

My externship experience was productive and fun. They provided us really good resources and the mentors were approachable and they have provided us great feedback. The experience here also did not end as I was given the opportunity to apply for other greater things through this externship. More than that, I appreciate the time I had here because I got to meet a lot of people who came from different parts of the world.

Extern has an amazing team of mentors and externship leads who are supportive throughout the entire process. They collaborate with amazing companies who want to help you learn and succeed. I learned and gained so much through this experience.

I like how easy it is to maneuver and i learned a lot.

The program was flexible. It really improved my research skills. It exposed me to the consulting world. I had the chance to speak with company managers to ask questions. I built great communication skills through the opportunity to participate in the final presentation.

Amazing experience, I love extern because it help you develop skills and manage on your own time remotely while adding important names in your resume opening opportunities in big companies.

Extern gave me my first real exposure to the world of venture capital. Through the HP Tech Ventures, IgniteXL, and PwC externships, I worked on real projects that challenged me to think like an investor.

I explored different theses, looked at startups across industries, and learned how due diligence actually works. Each experience built on the last and helped me understand not just the mechanics of VC but the mindset behind it.

More than anything, Extern helped me realize this is where I want to be. It lit a fire in me to stay in this space and keep pushing forward. That drive eventually led me to a full-time role at a seed stage startup in San Francisco, where I’m continuing to grow and build every day.

Completing my externship through Extern.com was one of the most valuable experiences in my academic and professional journey. The platform is well-organized, and the matching process was seamless. I was paired with a host company that aligned perfectly with my career interests and goals.

The externship itself gave me real-world exposure, sharpened my skills, and helped me grow both personally and professionally. I felt supported every step of the way—from onboarding to feedback.

I highly recommend Extern.com to any student or early-career professional looking to gain practical experience and boost their resume. Huge thanks to the Extern team for making this possible!

I enjoyed the training and sample work that were available. It gave me a glimpse of what they expected from me and I added my creativity and findings. It was my guide and it was super helpful! We also had the opportunity to have weekly meetings with the company we were working for to ask questions and gather enough data for our research. This helped me to build relationships with my client to have a genuine understanding of their problem and I love that!
